The front desk was so helpful from telling us we could receive free parking if we become a member of Marriott to getting us a room with a view of Bair Island last minute. The pool was clean and refreshing with beautiful tropical landscaping. The fitness center is really nice and spacious. The bistro was good but downtown restaurants have better food. We still appreciated the convenience of the bistro and it was wonderful stepping outside within footsteps of walking and running trails on Bair Island. A wonderful night- I would do it again!

The bed was a little firm but the soft comforters and bedding make it still cozy. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly in the morning.

The rooms were clean, beautiful and very large. Overall, they were extremely comfortable and everything I wanted for a hotel room. There was also a walkway under the freeway to go to downtown Redwood City in about 10 minutes. We didn't have a car during our stay since we're from out of the country, so that made meal times very convenient.

The coffee bar that's open in the morning was very expensive! Also, between that and the little food market by the check in counter - the healthy food choices were slim.

I have been staying here every year since it opened as it is near my daughter and family. Christmas, graduations, summertime stays…always at this hotel because it never disappoints. The staff is A+. The room is comfortable, quiet and the bed and bedding very nice. This year, I traveled with my dog. We discovered new walkways with early morning views of water and waterfowl. More than a place to lay my head, this feels like my own quiet respite.

- Clean, basic facilities were all ok. - did have a few issues in room (faucet broke, shower wasn’t working) but was rectified

- room is cleaned once in 2 days!! - Some of the personnel at Frontdesk were a bit lost! - they don’t offer basic amenities such as slippers or dental kit even when asked - expected Marriott to have such basics in place Atkeast when asked even if not in the room by default

One of the best and cleanest hotels in bay area. General manager Kazi Ahmad met us at the parking garage and found out that it’s my birthday, he brought us to the front desk with him and asked the team for us to check in as a VIP guest, he also gave us free drinks from the bar as a treat, he was very nice and very kind person to deal with, his team was fantastic and easy to deal with. they also treated us with coffee in the morning, and made my birthday very special one. so glad we have booked with them. thank you so much for all the effort you made through our stay, we will definitely be back.

Location and room were great.

You may want to have more than one person at front desk during peak check in. Poor lady had 3 calls on hold, calls coming in and a line of people checking in all by herself. She was not able to give full customer service and info to those s checking in.

the welcome staff was very friendly and personable, the bonus wheel was a fun touch and we won free parking. thanks! I liked that the desk was on wheels because we did a puzzle and this made it easy.

The beds are a little firm but not too bad,

the location of the hotel was perfect, the room was very quite. no sound from outside. very good blackout curtains. shower size was very nice. Free SHOWtime was very nice.

The curved twin couch/loveseat was Not very comfortable at all, Very hard and the seat was at a odd angle. the bed felt a tad to lumpy. the room refrigerator had a 2 hour time limit.. if you wanted your drinks or leftovers to stay cool you had to press the reset button every 2 hours. )0:

Great hotel with very nice rooms! We liked the number of outlets and bathroom space plus the easy parking within the parking structure on floor two. We stayed on floor 4 with hallway views of the inner courtyard with the pool.

The location isn't very close to restaurants or most businesses as it's on the other side of the freeway from Redwood City shops and food for the most part. Also, for families there is not a breakfast so be aware of that. There is no hot tub which would have been preferable to the pool on the cool days we were visiting.

The hotel looks brand new, great atmosphere, good decoration in the lobby, helpful and professional staff, quiet and clean rooms.

Parking lot needs to be a bit bigger and lighted. Its a bit congested and dark.
