The location was beautiful. We loved being right in front of the ocean. Also good walking distance to restaurants and the local grocery store. The staff were awesome, especially Paul. Rooms were really good size and the beds were comfortable.

The only issue was the neighbors from the complex next door. Their living room was directly across from our bedroom and they were fairly loud past midnight. The double pained window helped but it meant you couldn’t hear the ocean waves.

The location of this hotel is ideal, you are out of the tourist part of OB and can relax on the sunset cliff side. It is absolutely beautiful and within walking distance of everything.

property needs a little updating, many flies outside of room door (#102). Cleaning the area especially the trash receptacles would improve this condition. Planting all the planters with the beautiful flowers that are growing all over SD. The garage areas are not being used and this space is wasteful of such a great property. Unused space in a area where space is so valuable.

Right on the beach & lovely views. Clean rooms & pool. Car parking at side of Inn. Only stayed 1 night but walked into main town about 15-20 mins & found places to eat & shops. Supermarket across the road which was handy.

Only thing was a slight problem after breakfast morning after -Battery was faulty on my Door & keycard would not unlock my room but it was reported promptly to management & maintenance. Receptionist managed to get access so I could get in & out & I was checking out anyway @ 11:00am so it was no big deal.

My wife and I spent Mar 10-15 at Sunset Cliffs. It was a beautiful little hotel with fantastic views of the ocean and sunset! The staff especially Katelyn were excellent! Rooms were cleaned daily and it was such a romantic time!

My only complaint and it is MINOR, was there was no cable TV. It seemed to be set up for streaming and being from Canada watching ESPN was impossible. However since it was a romantic getaway I didn't miss the lack of sports watching.

Staff were great never had any problems getting in. Plus young man at the desk graciously helped with getting our flight boarding passes. View was very comfortable as well. Parking was easy for how busy it was.

Somewhat disappointed in the fact website was misleading and at the cliff patio was washed away. Plus when we asked about rides to the beach there was nothing available anymore which also misleading on your web page. The web site should be updated. That being said it still was a comfortable environment.

Location was great. View from the pool was beautiful, plus it was heated. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The flowers all around the property were amazing. We were steps away from the beautiful Sunset Cliffs Park. Only a 3 minute drive to Ocean beach. Lots of places to eat and shop. Rooms were sound proof.

The restroom was super small. The AC leaked water due to condensation both inside and outside of our room. And lastly, the extended patio area overlooking the ocean was unavailable due to the fact that it had fallen into the ocean. I think the website should be updated and that area be removed. I chose this specific hotel due to the views and assumption we could sit on that patio and overlook the ocean while watching the sun set. My family was very disappointed when we arrived to see it was all gated off.

The property is gorgeous, the rooms were remodeled and incredibly inviting. The views speak for themselves and the staff was amazing.

Only downside was the appearance of the construction going on. Seeing an excavator was literally the only downside to the property. When construction was going on the noise was very minimal.

Great customer service. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Amazing views of the Ocean. Great seating area designed perfectly for relaxing and taking in the scenery.

I stayed during a period of construction on the property, but I was informed about it in advance, which I appreciated. One downside is that there aren’t many restaurants nearby, so dining options are a bit limited.

Location was excellent. Our room didn't have a view, but we enjoyed sitting in the central area chairs for ocean views/breezes. We enjoyed walking to the tidal pools near Ocean Beach, and to the small sandy beach at the end of Bermuda Avenue.

Wish there was more storage in the bathroom. We wish the string lights outdoors were working.
