The rooms were spacious and clean. Tv was 40" and great picture. Beds and linens clean and plentiful. Microwave and fridge in the room and bathroom sparkling. This was the first time I had been to the Aqua Mar and wish I had gone earlier. I tend to stick around the "shopping and dining areas down the street near "Midway and Rosecrans" but happy to find another great place to stay no less. Walking distance to "Better Buzz" coffee and "Winchells" across the street and Ralphs and McDonalds about a block away. Also a Weinershnitzel, and the "Hervey Library" about a mile and a half.

Room was a good size for just two people and it also included a pull out bed. The room was cleaned well and stocked. We turned down cleaning service but the house keeper still offered fresh towels. We also liked the location because it was kinda in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and what we needed. Also all the hotel staff were very friendly.

Shower was nice but the floor was still slippery from the feet grip wearing out. Some tv channels had terrible signal and the ones that didn’t weren’t bad but didn’t care to watch those channels. Also the tv channel would lose signal randomly but not too much.

The property was located very central to the Point Loma/Shelter Island area. Convenient to the airport, but I don't think they have a shuttle. We booked based on a quick glance at the area and photos listed. Our room was clean and boho modern. Small but very clean, It had a very hip vibe and the room had everything we needed…..comfy bed, good a/c, roomy shower with toiletries. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again :)

Excellent location, dog friendly, great staff very kind, rooms are the most clean in the area!

Parking used to be free and pet fee is now a daily charge it used to be a flat fee so that’s a bummer, room price fair but with the added charges that was disappointing

The location is very central with an awesome coffee shop and donut shop across the street.

Rooms are fairly small, but neat and comfortable. There is some loud traffic noise, especially late night.

Excellent location! Safe neighborhood, dog friendly, good price, my second time staying at this property it’s now my go to hotel of choice!

I stayed on the ground floor my second visit, the noise level was a bit loud but to be expected staying at ground level. Price was higher to book a Saturday which is also to be expected and I was charged a 10$ a day parking fee my first visit I did not have to pay for parking I’m not sure what the deal was with that.

Great location for anyone taking a cruise and departing in a day or two of arriving in San Diego or for coming off the boat and needing a spot before heading home! Right next to a Better Buzz and Starbucks, Ralph’s and Dennys are walking distance (2 blocks maybe)

Doesn’t have any green space for pets but they accept them on property so that’s a plus.

The property was very nice and welcoming It was my kids'first time leaving Colorado and the staff really made them feel welcomed.tye location was great having everything close by and downtown 15 minutes away.

Good price, basic room, coffee, microwave, and mini fridge were clean and ready to go love the shampoo and conditioner in a small hotel but it did not dry our hair In the middle of town easy walk to get something to eat

The beds moved around a little other than that it was fine

Fantastic location, accommodating to my dog, very friendly staff! Most importantly wanted to feel safe and property was safe and secure, safe to walk my pet in the evening nice neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was more clean than the Airbnbs I’ve been staying at. Only complaint was the shower was a little wonky but with some finagling got it to work.
