This hotel is in a really cute neighborhood. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and had good water pressure. The room had a coffee machine, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, and the air conditioner worked really well. The staff were nice. We would definitely stay here again!

There may have been an elevator to the 2nd floor, but I didn't see one. It was not a problem for us, but just something to keep in mind if you bring a lot of luggage or have mobility challenges.

I always try to support small businesses so of course I will settle for less keeping in mind they need to make money to make improvements. This place was super clean and super quiet. Plenty of parking, great location next to a plethora of shops and restaurants all with in walking distance. You will love the place!!! The owners were exceptionally hospitable, even letting me take two parking spaces for my company truck!!! You will absolutely love the place. I didn’t hear any of the traffic that was right outside my door and I didn’t run out of hot water and the cable television was crystal clear, bed was plush and comfy!!!

I did not find anything annoying or wrong!!!

Location was great for my needs; I could walk into downtown and get public transit easily. Room was quiet, toward back part of property; and well-lit with outside light when shutters are opened or repositioned to your desire.

Bathroom had strong moldy smell, which also seeped into any linens and towels; had to always keep the door closed to prevent the smell from coming into the living area. Would like the H/C unit to have Auto function, so fan shuts off automatically when desired temp is reached (don't always want air blowing on me while I sleep). I could NOT use my VPN when connected to the hotel WiFi (I'd like to keep my emails and other personal dealings, well, personal).

The location was great for what I was needing-that was an overnight stay after flying into San Jose before traveling up to SFO by train the next day. The area has plenty of food options nearby and a grocery store is a walkable distance away. The room was spotlessly clean maybe a little dated but no biggie. The staff were very friendly and helpful

It wasn't really a huge concern as I wear ear plugs but my room was right next to a busy intersection... maybe ear plugs could be supplied by the owners just in case noise is a problem for some people

I liked the comforting and home-like vibes my room gave. I am a college student and stayed here for a couple weeks and loved coming back to my room and relaxing. The entire room except the bathroom area was carpeted which I really liked. The single seater sofa was comfy and I enjoyed sleeping on the extremely comfortable bed. There were 3 well lit lamps in the room: 2 on either side of the bed and one on the desk. The desk lamp came in handy as I completed my work.

We Stay here regularly. Love the location. I am a walker and bike rider and in any direction, there is fun stuff to see. Walking/riding distance from SAP Center, Whole Foods and San Pedro Square. There are 3 espresso cafes, several choices for food and great exploring. Rooms are large enough for 3-4 bikes.

We don't watch much TV but the TV in our room need replaced. It was sort of working but needs an upgrade.

We have stayed here several times. We ride bikes and the rooms are large enough to bring them in. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to great selection of restaurants and SAP Center. I even walk very early mornings and late at night. Always feel safe. Can hear a little road noise but never have a problem sleeping. This is our go-to motel whenever we stay in San Jose. Has more of a neighborhood feel instead of mega urban.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Loved the retro look and the way it was decorated. It had ample parking spaces that were all free. It was located near many good restaurants with a variety of cuisine. The price was very reasonable.

The room needs to be stocked with more towels. We had three people and only one hand towel. It would be nice if the room with two double beds cojuld be changed to one double and one queen or two queens.

Room was clean and comfortable and had all we needed for the nights stay. Parking was available however not sure there would have been parking if we'd arrived later. Plenty of places to eat and coffees to drink nearby. Very close to airport which is what we were looking for. Beautiful neighborhood for walking too.

We stayed in room 205 or 206, can't exactly remember. It was right on the main road which was LOUD. At all hours. So that was unfortunate. Also we stayed on a Friday night and on Saturday morning, the building next door had their maintenance team out at 7am or so blowing the parking lot - if we had been trying to enjoy a lie-in, we would have been out of luck

Cleanliness Close to restaurants, coffee and breakfast shops. Even manicure and pedicure shops which was a delight. Good location for Uber to pick me up and drop me off.

Not good channels on TV. Mattress was bad for my back issues Kept getting key locking me out. Twice so far and glad maid let me in so I could later go get the office to update my key
