The cost of our stay in this location made our visit a steal. The surrounding properties were priced significantly higher but there was nothing that made them worth that price that this hotel didn't have. Despite getting in pretty late, the check-in desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was SO spacious and comfortable. It wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in, but it checked all of the boxes that we needed for this particular trip.

There's zero way to block out the noise from the street. Almost all night we could hear the sirens, honking, barking, etc. I understand we are in the heart of the city but there has to be some kind of way to eliminate that noise or at least muffle it. Also, the front door is RIDICULOUSLY hard to open - wind or no wind - that thing is heavy as f%&k.

We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown San Jose during Cinequest, and it was an excellent experience. I was there with my family, including our baby, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were incredibly friendly and professional, always keeping the conversation open and making sure we had everything we needed. Their care and attention made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown and easy to reach, which made attending the festival and exploring the city very convenient. Overall, the combination of great service, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was perfect, but at times we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms. Improving the soundproofing between rooms would make the experience even better.

I was in room 304 the parking was included and the parking attendant is a sweetheart he helped us get into the hotel, we got there at midnight and we were so grateful for his help.

That my event had been canceled and the hotel wouldn't give me my money or wouldn't even let me change my stay. Even after purchasing the insurance for those exact situations, and had to drive 2 hours straight from work to not lose the money on the room

Centrally located. Felt safe walking around all times of the day. Gym was small, but did the job. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I was unaware that there was to be a late night event occurring at the restaurant below my room during the first night of my stay. The music volume kept me up way past my preferred bedtime. That was the only obstacle I encountered and what prevents me from giving this stay a 10/10.

The room was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The location was near to public transport and just slightly away from large busy roads, hence it was relatively quiet. There are some eateries nearby, and a relatively affordable laundromat 15min walk away.

I think this is mainly a business hotel hence may serve that group well, but seemed less welcoming for tourists.

I really liked the building itself. Seemed like 'old arcitecture'; not something you'd find in a place like San Jose but more like in a metropolitan area like New York.

Parking was exorbitant. $45 for overnight parking is something that needs to be mentioned in the price.

The room was in a very convenient location on the second floor, easily accessible via the stairs. The main room and the bathroom were both quiet and clean. Overall had a good experience during my stay.

Nothing in particular was bad about this hotel or the room I stayed in. I will say that I tried to book a room in the lobby in person, but the pricing was way higher than it ended up being through booking.com. Like $100 difference.

It was a beautiful room that had a nice view

The refrigerator wasn't cold enough for my things, they had no toothpaste or mouthwash and this happened to be a trip where I was exhausted and wanted to be relaxed after a busy work day but when I called the lady at desk she could have saved me a trip of walking down to desk after I asked for toothpaste and they had none.

I like the location of where the hotel was, the staff was friendly and prompt, and the entire hotel was very clean

I didn't like having to pay for parking, I also did not like that you had to park your car at the public parking area and then walk down the block to the hotel, there should be a hallway or pathway to get to the hotel that is not on the main street, the location of the hotel is on a busy street with lots of traffic

Great location, right in the heart of downtown. Don’t complain about the parking, it’s pricey but kind of standard. Lot is right next to the hotel, not a bad walk. Staff was courteous and the place was very clean.

My tv didn’t work the last morning I was there. Not a big deal, but I still had 5 hours until check out time :-)
