Beautiful hotel in a great location. We arrived at about 1.30am after a delayed flight during which our luggage was lost by the airline. The night manager (I didn't get his name unfortunately) was so helpful and lovely - he gave us some toothbrushes and toothpaste as we had nothing, and also let us leave our car in the valet area rather than make us pay for valet seeing as most of the night was over. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was super comfortable.

Exceptional value all around. Ideal location, tastefully decorated room, spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed, even a great view from the top floor. I wanted to give it a perfect 10, but I had some trouble with the coffee maker and the hotel has no restaurant. But other than that, I couldn't ask for a lot more.

Coffee maker didn't work very well (or very easily) and the hotel has no breakfast or restaurant, but I knew that and it's no big deal. Just not perfect.

Perfect in every way! Rooms are nice, modern and well appointed. Very comfortable beds, supreme linens, excellent shower and bath amenities. Pleasant service from the entire staff, there's absolutely everything right about this place. I stayed at Hotel De Anza for local business and made it a date night, too. I highly recommend Hotel De Anza for business and pleasure travelers. Five stars all around!

Hotel De Anza is a fantastic place to stay in San Jose. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and stylish, and the location is perfect—walking distance to downtown, SAP Center, and great restaurants. The Art Deco charm gives it a unique vibe, and the lounge is a great spot to relax with a drink. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

Incredibly well-located, quality and stylish hotel in the heart of Downtown San Jose. I found myself needing a hotel late one weekday evening and Hotel De Anza went above and beyond my expectations. The view from my room was awesome--it gave me a whole new perspective on the town. I would absolutely stay here next time I come to town.

To be honest, I did not have any bones to pick with this hotel. I didn't stay longer than one night, so there were some amenities I didn't get a chance to use but during the time I was there the experience was high quality and I had zero complaints.

It was a nice place to stay.

Parking. I got off work late and by the time I got there the local parking garages were closed. I circled the block a few times and couldn’t find street parking. The nice guy at the counter let me park in the valet driveway as they were gone for the night. Otherwise I would have canceled and looked elsewhere for room

Nice rooms, lovely bathrooms with enjoyable amenities. Beds were very comfortable and besides the quiet hum and hustle of the city streets outside I did not hear the other guests in the hotel. Theres even an airport nearby and planes fly somewhat close to the hotel on landing routes. Never heard a single plane.

Housekeeper started cleaning our room before we finished the check out process. We had been at an anime convention and as such we had been cosplaying. The housekeeper had thrown our wigs into the trashbag already, we were able to recover them, but they had been slightly damaged and this was very distressing to my partner who had put alot of work into the wigs. Also this place won't let you pay in cash and put the deposit for the room on a card, whole stay had to be paid with using my bank card. Could've been disastrous for our weekend if we had gotten to town after my bank closed.

Beautiful, iconic hotel established in 1931. Very clean, exceptional staff. Valet parking, complimentary champagne at check in. Large bathrooms. Complimentary ear plugs if airplanes or sirens bother you. Excellent location to SAP center and San Pedro Square.

The bed was uncomfortable for us. A mattress topper could greatly improve one’s quality of sleep and make it feel more luxurious like the hotel.

No breakfast, right in the heart of downtown SJ with easy access to highways , friendly helpful staff, cool bar with live music and comfortable large bathroom/shower.

Warning can be challenging spot to park large car if not choosing valet.

The room was well decorated, and loved the vintage art deco architecture! The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Location was excellent as well!

My only point of criticism was that I wish the water in the shower drained better. Also, the hot water was slow to come on in the sink.
