We have been staying at the Secret Garden and Inn for over 20 years! Dominique is an exceptional hostess and owner of the property. Each room is decorated with style and care to detail. The gardens are beautiful, inviting and lush. Morning breakfasts are a treat with homemade quiches, jams, warm croissants, excellent coffee and other delicious items. The location is excellent as it is walking distance to many Santa Barbara historical sites. We hope to return in the not-to-distant future.

Nothing to improve on in our opinion.

Breakfast was so good and really filling! Sitting on our porch having breakfast was so peaceful in our little garden forest setting. It was a really private oasis one block over from main streets so we could walk to Ice cream or coffee, and our hostess was so knowledgable about antiques that she sold in her little gift shop that it felt like we were somewhere in the french countryside. We would highly recommend this little B and B to any couple looking to getaway.

The bathroom fan was super loud so when you turned on the light, it sounded like a gardeners’ leaf blower. Should look into getting that replaced!

Everything. A charming lovely room, perfect for one. Location is excellent for me; just blocks from my cousin's home. Breakfast was incredible; a homemade croissant paired with excellent jam,plus a slice of homemade pound cake, some fruit, OJ and coffee. Served outside on the private little deck attached to the cottage where the room is located. My hostess is a lovely French woman who does the croissant baking herself, with a little help from her daughter on the pound cakes. A lovely European experience hidden away in Santa Barbara!

Was satisfied with the whole package.

The cottage was very quaint and the gardens were beautiful . A lot of thought had gone into the cottages and it had good facilities . We thought breakfast was included but it wasn’t in our package . Having said that the host kindly delivered croissants and coffee every morning . Extremely kind . Thank you .

The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and we were conscious that it would affect others next door if we kept it on . We booked with booking.com and was led to believe breakfast was included . Sadly it wasn’t .

The room, bed, breakfast, and gardens were superb! This was our first visit here for our 14th wedding anniversary. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day. The breakfast croissants were incredible. Perhaps less vegetables in the quiches would better suit MY tastes, but that is just my preference.

Dominique is very welcoming and helpful. We had everything needed in our room, including electric kettle, and jacuzzi was clean and relaxing after the day of walking. The location is very quiet, and it is truly a cozy secret garden. Breakfast was delicious with homemade baked pears, veggie quiche, and a French touch. We will return to this place when we visit again.

The shower head needs to be fixed in Kingsfisher room.

Quiet and secluded in lovely garden environment . Dominique, the owner, was very kind and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast served by Dominique : croissants, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit.

Unfortunately got woken up by the bin men one morning. WiFi was a bit hit and miss in our cottage because we were furthest from the main house

Nice place. Very friendly and accomodating owner. Nice room. Location is ok if you don't mind being a little off State street and the wharf, but it was fine for me.

I thought it was a little over-priced, but that said, it was peak season so I expected to pay premium rates.

Wonderful experience with a beautiful room and bathtub. The robes and our own private jacuzzi made us feel super secluded and fancy. They brought us breakfast and coffee and fresh juice and fruits and it was lovely and delicious. Beautiful grounds and very quiet. Perfect romantic getaway experience.

Nice location private parking in the back. easy access. Cottage was French Country decor with a private hot tub on small patio. Journal in the room to write about your stay. French coffee press and real dishes and utensils,very impressive! I Grounds well maintained and garden paths throughoutwould recommend to others.
