Room was recently remodeled. All the furniture, beds, flooring and walls were new. The fixtures, window, and shower in the bathroom are new or nearly new. Heck, even the parking lot was recently paved. Electrical sockets are snug. Reserved for 1 night but extended it for 2. The style is a 1 story hotel. The advantages are excellent room noise isolation, no need to drag luggage to the 2nd floor - there is none. Highly recommended.

I could have used a few more electrical sockets for my rechargeable items at my desk. I should have used the free provided wifi since my personal wifi hotspot had poor reception here. Fault belonging to my wifi provider. No pool, but there is an ocean to swim in a few miles away.

We completely enjoyed our quiet stay in a family oriented location. The staff checking in was very courteous and patient as we came in completely exhausted from our drive. The full sized kitchen was over the top. We were able to prepare fresh caught seafood and enjoy the fresh picked local produce. The staff checking us out was even more professional and courteous as he shared some stories with us and blessed us with a fruitful bounty. We will never forget our wonderful stay at this Inn. Many thanks to their staff including the housekeeping.

My special request was No Smoking & No Carpet! Got what I wanted. This room was VERY CLEAN and comfortable. Mostly quiet round-the-clock. Bed and bedding felt 4-Star! Plenty of hot water. This place was definitely A GOOD BARGAIN for the MONEY and in a GREAT LOCATION!!! I appreciated THAT the most! Necessary 5-day trip for two funerals…. Never saw staff member between Check In and Check Out. They were nice. Phone staff was VERY GOOD! Never saw a breakfast. Sweet housekeeper DID bring extra coffee packets and an iron to my room as requested.

The parking lot(S) sucked!!! This is in a nice part of town and neighborhood so parking is at a premium. However, parking lot near office had NO SPACES cause too much junk being stored (construction vehicles, parked trailers, chairs outside each door for smokers, cars that never move, & building supplies. Looked like a dump! Second parking lot near my room was always filled completely with vehicles. Walking between lots at night, up and downhill was inconvenient and felt somewhat unsafe due to walking along the Main Street on a sidewalk with luggage and parcels.

While sparsely decorated, the room was updated, clean and comfortable. The large shower was nice. There was a queen bed clearly missing in the room, so it would have been nice to have a sofa or comfortable chair to sit in.

I was in a room right across from the office. People talking at the office entrance or ringing the office doorbell after hours could be clearly heard in my room, which was kind of annoying.

Very convenient location. Easy to find from the freeway, and close to the Lobero Theater, where we had an engagement. The room and bathroom met my mom's high standards for clean. Sparkling tile, immaculate floors, and recently painted walls. Towels were better than I would have expected, and plentiful. Good quality bedding, too. It was nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was easy to keep the room at the right temperature, and the in room heater operated more quietly than my furnace at home. We didn't hear a peep from adjoining rooms. Blackout drapes actually kept the room dark. Each bed had its own dimmable light in the ceiling. This place far exceeded my expectations for lodging at this price level. A dream for this retired traveler on a budget! We won't think about where to stay on future trips. We'll be at the Town & Country.

Coffee provided was OK. I would have been happy to pay a dollar or two for better coffee at the office. We will bring our own coffee next time. And there will be a next time! This will be our first choice for lodging when we come to Santa Barbara for an event, which we do fairly often. We can spend our budgeted funds on better tickets, knowing we will have a clean, comfortable and convenient place to spend the night. It always makes me sad to see how much plastic is used for things like wrapping individual paper cups, but I understand the need for sanitation. Next time we'll put a pair of travel mugs in the car and avoid the need for disposable plastic wrapped cups. I don't fault Town & Country management, but as we arrived by car, we can easily do better for the environment.

Very clean new floors and new large bathrooms, very clean and excellent housekeeping, great amenities microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, nice large tv.

The only thing I have to say is the beds sink in when sit on them. They don’t need new mattresses just need to eliminate the box springs and get platform bed frames. I would really love to come back here because of the location. And all the rooms are on the same level, the ground.

The customer service was exceptional. The man in the front was super friendly, showed me to my room and told me he was there if I had any questions. For the price I paid, compared to everything around, the value definitely exceeded the price!

If I were to criticize anything, it would be the parking, but again the man in the front informed me about it to be careful when pulling in because there was a dip. He let me know and it kept me from doing anything to my car! Again very excellent customer service

The location is great for those who like a little walking; we walked down to the main strip every night, walked to the grocery store in the mornings, and we could have walked to the beach if we had the time. The beds were loaded with soft and warm blankets and pillows which was exactly what we needed after the walk home, and the coffee and other small amenities in the room were lovely.

Nothing to be done about it I think, but the walls are paper thin. If you know you are loud, make a conscious effort to not be while you're there; everyone will be able to hear you! I know too much about a few strangers now because of it. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs will be a must. The shampoo in the bathroom is also not easy to use, and not terribly effective if you have a lot of hair. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

Bus stop is right outside the hotel. A large, clean and tidy room, spatious bathroom, enough towels and toiletries. Very nice and friendly staff. I don't drink coffee so it doesn't matter to me, but there is a coffee machine and enough supplies to make coffee. WiFi was great. I would stay here again.

Location and value. I checked in at 11pm and checked out at 8am. Just a place to sleep. It was quiet. There was a coffee maker in the room. The shower was new and the water got hot quickly. Bed linens, pillow(s) and mattress were very comfortable.

No bedside table lamp (which I’m sure they would’ve taken care of if I notified them, but I was too tired) The towels were pretty (very) thin and the room walls were in desperate need of paint.
