The staff was extremely accommodating to my circumstances. We moved rooms because when we checked in initially, the neighbors above us were loud. We moved towards the back of the property and I forgot my meds in the former room. The staff contacted the people who checked in but they were out sightseeing and were given permission to get my medicine which is a lot. The 3rd situation was at 1am to 2:30am our neighbors next to us were drunk and yelling a lot. I contacted the desk and they handled the neighbors to quiet down. I thought the staff's service was above and excellent.

Neighbors were loud because they were young , drunk and partying.

We had a 2-storey apartment with 2 bedrooms which was great for our group. Pool area was nice but busy so not enough pool loungers for everyone. We didn’t use any other facilities.

Bath tub very slow to drain (meaning that you’re standing in about 10inches of water) and none of the TVs worked (some kind of remote control pairing issue that should have been checked between guest stays. Maintenance staff member seemed clueless as to how to resolve either issue so as we were there for 1 night only I asked him to leave it until after our check-out. When we checked-out I let the reception staff member know that we were not happy with these two issues there was no apology until she said “you’re all set” - then the apology sounded like an afterthought.

We got an upgrade to the apartment, so can’t say much about the double queen room. Apartment was of great size, with one large bedroom (with two queens beds) and one smaller bedroom (with one queen bed). Very comfortable beds. Large bathroom and good sized kitchen. Location is a bit out of center, you kinda need a car to get around. It was super quiet at night.

We stayed from 19th -21st September. We were a little early arriving and luckily our room was ready the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean with good facilities. We also had a small balcony to sit out on. Wifi worked great. Used the laundry facilities whilst there which were also good, note that you need quarters for the washer and dryer. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub. Restaurant next door was great. Coffee/tea available whilst reception is open.

Only negative I would say is that it’s a bit of a walk into Santa Barbara, however, there is a bus, number 3, that’ll take you in and you can pick it back up at the transit centre to come back.

Location & layout was nice.

First room’s deadbolt didn’t function as intended. Second room also didn’t have a normal functioning deadbolt but I accepted as is since staff was trying to accommodate me. Both rooms smelled of tobacco use. The bathroom did not have the shower liquids replenished accept for conditioner. Asked for a late check out and when they said they only give 10-15 minutes, within minutes of asking for the extra moments to pack “coincidentally” attempting to enter the room and saying they had to clean the room. First time that has ever happened to us, EVER! Get it together Best Western!

Wonderfully spacious apartment for a couple with two kids. Loved that it had a full kitchen with a gas stove and huge fridge. Bedrooms, beds were comfortable and we appreciated that the AC was running in all rooms and it was cool as soon as we walked in for the first time - thank you for that prep, hotel staff. We used the pool, and also ate at the cafe - both were nice. Also, a special thank you to Helen the assistant manager and Hector, who were very kind about letting us check in 2 hours prior to the scheduled check in time, because we had gotten in early, and they had the room ready.

Unfortunately, the shower was poor. The shower head did not function properly - only the middle circle (jet function) released water, but even that was very low pressure. If that is fixed, it would have been a perfect stay.

I travelled with my husband and two kids (aged 11 and 16 years) stayed here one night on our Big Sur road trip (though watch out as Highway 1 was shut south of Mcway Falls so we took the inland route to Santa Barbara). The hotel was the perfect place to stop before heading towards Palm Springs. The family room was spacious and clean and had a separate kitchen and dining table/chairs which would have been convenient is we'd stayed longer. There was free coffee available in reception which was a nice touch! There is a small but nice pool which we didn't get a chance to use. Parking was easy and on site, and the drive to the beach was just 5 minutes. We ate at a great Mexican chicken place a couple minutes drive away.

We're British so we like walking! The hotel is in a quiet residential area so there was not much within walking distance. However, as a pit stop, it was perfect.

Unlike most Santa Barbara hotels, this is in the middle of a local neighborhood, popular among nurses and other hospital employees as its near the hospital in Santa Barbara. My husband and I had three friends visiting during the few weeks between homes, so we hadn't anywhere to put us all up. Here we rented a two bedroom townhouse, with 1 and a half baths. My husband and I took the king room, gave the other room to our female friend and let the two guys sleep on the pull -out couch. Each bed and the couch had a television to watch, and got several HBO and showtime or max paystations. We had a full size kitchen, fully outfitted, and a nice full size patio, with several chairs and a table, fenced for complete privacy. It was ideal for our situation. Spotless. While we didn't use the pool or jacuzzi, they certainly were popular. I did have some laundry and I used the coin machines they have for guests. To wash it was only $1.25 and to dry was just $1. There is a little restaurant on the premises that has an enormous aviary, which is fun to watch if the conversation lags. It certainly met all of our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is always nice.

We really enjoyed our night in Santa Barbara. The hotel was close enough to get a taxi to the beach. In fact we walked most of the way back - it felt perfectly safe to do so. We received friendly service and checkin and checkout. Our suite had three beds across two rooms, so our teenage sons were very happy to have their own beds. Our suite was quiet and well equipped. The on-site restaurant provided a very nice breakfast.

There were only a few spaces near our room and they were all full so we had to park near reception and walk. Not a big deal but a little frustrating.

We needed a room with two separate bedrooms and this worked perfectly for us. Not only did we have two separate bedrooms upstairs, we had a generous living room space and full kitchen downstairs. Everything necessary was well thought out and very clean. The front desk was very professional and helpful once I was able to contact the facility directly. And the cleaning staff was unobtrusive and very efficient. We will definitely stay there again in the future.
