Small kitchenette in deluxe room was very helpful, beds comfortable, generally quiet besides any noise right outside door.

The listing says that there is free parking included in the stay. This was a big part of why I booked this location. Come to find out on arrival there are not enough parking spaces for the number of guests, and it’s first come first serve for the parking. There is a guest parking pass for the lot next door but it is strictly 6pm-8am and parking outside of that is tow threat. Street parking starts to be 90 minutes at 9 am. This makes it so even an 11 am checkout or multi day stay means you have to be up and moving car earlier unless you manage to get one of the 7 or so parking spots out front which restricts your evening as well. I just wish the listing was transparent about the parking terms.

The room was as it was described and a perfect stop in for us when we were passing through town. We also arrived very late and the check in process and communicate with the staff was extremely efficient and directions were very clear. Everything very clean and exactly what we needed.

The only 2 things I would mention is that we were upstairs and our bed and the floors were really creaking - I was so nervous because we arrived so late and was worried to wake up anyone below us! I would also comment that our bed was very, very soft - we sleep with a very firm mattress at home. That being said, we were exhausted travelers and had a good night's sleep - but I probably couldn't sleep on a soft mattress like that for more than 1 night.

Room was as pictured. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice touches like an ambient orb lamp so you don't have to have the bright overhead light in, touch lights next to the bed, and outlet cube on the nightstand so you can charge multiple devices. It was small, but clean and comfy. It's true the parking lot is small, but you don't have to park at the vet next door and move your car at 8am if it's full as several other reviews have said-- there is parking on the street behind the hotel. I had to park there one of the 2 nights I stayed, and my car was fine.

Since the parking lot is right up to the room doors, if you are a late sleeper you'll get woken by the folks checking out when they slam shut all their car doors. Also, since I was right next to the office, I felt like I needed to keep my curtain closed even during the day so everyone walking past didn't look in.

The staff were so friendly and the rooms were nice and light and comfy beds! Good location for being in between the beach and the hiking area.

Not a huge amount of storage for clothes etc

Location is perfect - close to many shops, bars, restaurants, parks, etc. Not even a 10-minute drive to the beach. The room itself was super cute with heating and air conditioning - the bathroom had towels, soaps, lotions, etc. Decently sized space for a king-sized bed and closet area with mini fridge - everything I could ask for in a room for a weekend trip! Front desk staff was really nice as well.

Just two items to be aware of: 1) The bed is a bit soft; can feel like you're sinking into quicksand or another person if you're sharing the bed. 2) The noise. The walls are very thin and there's space under the door to let all kinds of sound and noise in. Bring earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper.

Good location, helpful staff, lovely room. We arrived early and were able to check in. Love the colours on the soft furnishings in the room.

We were able to get a parking space outside the rooms, however the parking spaces were limited. There is parking provided overnight at the business next door so there would definitely be enough space for everybody staying, but there are time limits if parking there (not sure of exact times but I think the car would need to be moved in the morning). We stayed in cheaper places elsewhere that were just as nice or better but I think this is just Santa Barbara prices!

This is a small motel like property that has been upgraded to feel so much more. Well designed rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. My room was close to the road but the windows cut the sound. I appreciated the modern mini split heat/cool instead of the old style rattling ac units.

Instant coffee! But did like having a kettle to make tea.

The room was clean and comfortable. I was pleased to find out it was roomier than the pictures made it seem. Check in was easy and quick, and it was nice that we didn't have to deal with any room keys. The AC was great, although it wasn't hot when I stayed there. The bed was okay, not terrible but not the best. The parking is limited and a bit cramped, so those with bigger cars or trucks will find it pretty tight. There is overflow parking though. And the hotel is off a main street but wasn't particularly noisy. Overall it was a pleasant experience and had a better pricing than a lot of the other hotels in SB. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff at the Agave Inn went above and beyond for us during our stay. Our room, the family suite was quiet, clean and spacious. The inn’s location is excellent, too. We could walk to various stores and restaurants in the area.

The parking is ample but a little tight.

Great staff and a new updated clean room! The hotel is located in a convenient location that is near downtown Santa Barbara and a Gelson's supermarket.

The hotel is located next to a fairly busy road and the sound of some drivers' modified car engines can be really loud and annoying when you're trying to sleep at night.
