The bed was so comfortable and I liked how clean everything was. The pool was a short distance and although we didn't go to the outside bar. The fact that the option was there was amazing. The area is a tiny bit rough but the view of the mountains was breath-taking. Was a short drive to state street but far enough to not be in the crowd.

The pool wasn't heated and the wifi was terrible. Asked front staff if the offered breakfast and we were told no and wasnt until we spoke to the restaurant they mentioned yes. Also, deposit IS required so be advised.

We loved the layout and the personal space in the form of a balcony or patio. Very calming. One of our rooms had a very bad musty odor we left the doors open and house keeping brought a spray over that helped a little. The restaurant was great. Everyone was very very friendly and service was fantastic. Over all we would stay again. This was our second trip to the hotel. The pizza and hamburgers were great!

The second and third floor was a little confusing. And the elevator was hard to find, we had an 80 year old who was on the second floor she’s not good w stairs. Other than that it was great

I loved the lemons that were all around. I liked our patio. All the greenery was really nice to view out of the door and windows. The bed was really comfortable. It was a quiet room.

The heater makes too much noise. So we would crank up the heat right before sleep and then turn it off for the night and turn it back on when we woke up. The curtain panel on the door, window area on the right is on backwards and looks odd. That needs to be fixed. In the morning our sink would gurgle up water from some other source. One day I awoke to that noise and when I went to check it was filled with water with hair shavings. It then drained on it's own and left a gross looking sink.

YOUR Front Desk Staff Was Super, Great ! ! ! 😀😃 Well Knowledged, Informed, Pleasant, Outgoing, Friendly, Helpful, Kind, Considerate, AND Thoughtfully Resourcefull Keenan Was Super Courteous ! And A Very Nice Restaurant Staff As Well ! Kudos To *Franco Thank You Very Kindly.

A Huge. Exception. ! A Very Young Mean, Cruel, Undisciplined, Immature, Unkind, Thoughtless, Inconsiderate AND Quite Obnoxiously Loud Young Female At The Front Desk Staff Who Thought It Wise And Helpful To Herself... To Yell, Scream And Shout At An Older Senior Disabled Veteran. In Order To Bring *Attention To Herself... AKA Anna !!! To What Purpose ?? And, Then Loudly Banging On Their Room Door. Yes, This Quite Immature Behaviour Actually Occured ! And Was Witnessed By Other Hotel Guests Need We Say More ? ...

The front desk staff member was very helpful especially because there was a glitch in their system with our booking. She gave us a room and said she'd give us a better view for the inconvenience. The room had a peaceful view. We liked the french doors leading to the patio area, everything was easily accessible at the hotel.

The cleaner used to clean the room floors left a slimy layer. The pool was not heated, when the shower was used it kept flooding the bathroom, the toilet was making noises in the middle of the night and was then clogged in the morning. We were on the 1st floor, the floor/ceiling would creak in the middle of the night, we heard every step from the people above us.

Nice size room, comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Housekeeping staff helpful. Loved the bathroom set-up-sink in bathroom and in area outside bathroom. Loved the balcony with the room. Great garden area near pool.

Restaurant expensive for breakfast. No 'free' coffee available in lobby. Parking on some days difficult to find near room entrance. Booked room for 3 people, towels for 2-was a room for 4; coffee cups for 2; inside coffee Keurig not clean-didn't use, disappointed not having coffee in the room. Didn't use the pool due to children splashing around.

Room/patio/fridge. Walk in shower. Cleanliness. Staff all terrific---friendly & welcoming. I like it feels 'old school': retains the scale/size---I'm a little weary of 'boutique', cutesy, trendy--and exorbitant. Very comfortable to sit out in common areas w tables, + pool. It feels safe because staff are around by day. There were a couple in particular: I sensed they really knew the property and took the job personally with care. It feels tended to w TLC.

Room service fee to deliver to room was surprising. Understand it may be 2 businesses, so don't have a solution to recommend. Room service with a fee kind of messes with tipping. I am not able to carry Take Out to room. Went to cafe a couple times, but wanted Room Service also. I paid the fee and tipped, but it was Odd. Regardless, the cafe + kitchen staff are terrific, too--and the food is so fresh. I like that cafe has hours open and breaks closed. Maybe my imagination, but it felt like it helps keep things relaxed.

Love this hotel. It's so central, yet quiet and calm. We didn't have time to use the pool, and it was a bit chilly for the outdoor patio, but the greenery around the hotel is so relaxing. The beds are really comfortable, and the coffee maker works well. Plenty of room in the room to spread out. The fridge and freezer are in excellent condition, and the bathroom and little separate sink area are really helpful when traveling with a friend or spouse. We were also able to walk to a nice restaurant on State Street and enjoy the holiday lighting, etc. Beautiful neighborhood, AND it's near a Grocery Outlet too. Five Stars.

This is my 3rd stay at The Lemon Tree Inn. Top end of State Street so it’s nice and quiet but you will need your car. There is a market right behind it for whatever you might need. The bed was super comfy. Heat and air worked fine. The TV was great, a new version with several streaming apps already installed, Prime, Netflix, Hulu and a couple others. You just need to sign in if you subscribe. Coffee, little fridge and iron board in the dressing/sink area.

CONS: the floors, stone tiles, are SO Cold, bring slippers. We had a Deluxe King Room and personally I prefer the Double I had last time. It was much larger but no little sofa.

Largish motel with a sizeable outside pool, good restaurant and outside evening Tiki bar. Reasonably sized room and good facilities. Room we chose had an outside seating area with a view of the pool. Shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. Had a really really good meal in the restaurant one evening. Parking was easy being close to the rear entrance of our room. Santa Barbera itself is brilliant.

Had to complain about the drapes which were very dirty where they had been handled by previous guests, room was quite dark as it was painted brown, privacy was only possible with the drapes closed. Location is on a major junction quite a way out of the centre, not that easy to walk to town so had to UBER to get around.
