We were able to request a room off the main road and closer to the pool/courtyard. This made the stay much more pleasant. The pool was nice and quiet first thing in the morning. The in-room and lobby coffee machines worked well.

One of the pools was closed, and there was some renovation taking place during our stay.

Liked the cleaniness and the friendly staff. Liked the location.

There was NO breakfast as advertised. When booking, it was noted that there was breakfast, but shortly after I already booked I received an email from BW stating that because they were upgrading some of their amenities were not available and their coffee machine was OUT OF SERVICE the whole time. I found this disappointing because I stayed there previously the last week of July, two months earlier and there was the same issue. I see this as false advertising. 😕

It was very comfortable and clean

The woman who checked me in was not very nice. I was having a hard time finding the room and she could’ve just pointed out the window, but she kept showing me on a map and I didn’t even know there was two buildings. Also she never gave me water when I checked in And my coworker got water. But later there is a guy working at the front desk and he was great.

Rooms were modern, clean, and easy to access from the parking lot. Staff were super helpful and efficient and I didn't have to wait long at all. Easy check in and easy check out. Loved that there was free parking. The location was super safe and next to the mall, and easy to access downtown SB.

The AC unit should NOT be in line with our heads/directly facing the bed, it blows air into our faces and is so loud it is hard to sleep. With the heat, not turning it on meant the room was uncomfortable. Was sad to see once we checked in that the pool next to our room was closed. Was not worth treking across the property to the other pool.

Open concept hotel, not like a closed building. Very cute aesthetic, leaning into the Spanish Santa Barbara vibes. We got a room that seemed to be recently renovated so very nice and clean. They provide shampoo, conditioners and body wash. Very good location, in front of a plaza that has a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. Fair to note that on the listing it says it has a microwave and fridge but we only had a fridge.

This was our second stay here. The rooms are updated and attractive and clean and the grounds are green and very well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool, both were very clean. The hotel is located near many conveniences, including Target and restaurants. We appreciated the use of Gold's gym and the new breakfast service.

Renovated, modern. Love the pool, not too cold not too hot. Good shower.

Frontdesk staff during check-in was not motivated. The staff at night was excellent. I had to cover the sensor in the bathroom with paper and tape to prevent bright light switching on during nightly bathroom visits. The door to the patio was dirty, worn out and not replaced during renovation. Airconditioning, although new, is an old type that switched on and off during the night instead of keeping a constant temperature.

The property is wonderful very clean and its situated right across from La Cumbre Plaza. Many shops and restaurants all around. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The property has two pools and jacuzzis they offer an area with clean towels ice maker machines and guest bathrooms.

No elevators so carrying all our stuff up and down the stairs was not fun.

i loved the location, breakfast, temperature(warm) of pool water (only one pool has good temperature, other not) updated room ( was there before), quiet,

pool hours, no fitness room. Pool hours should change from 6 am to 12 am. Then it is perfect hotel for me :). Need more chairs and lounge chairs at hotel rooms and pool area

It was a pretty good location, and everything was pretty close like the museum, freeway, Santa Barbara pier. Almost everything was withing 5 to 10 mins away drive.

Something was wrong with the shower, it kept changing the temperature of the water, it would go back and forth from warm to extremely hot while showering. Also they need to change their amenities so it doesn't say they have free breakfast. I wasn't informed of that until the day before I was supposed to check in.
