Liked the cleaniness and the friendly staff. Liked the location.

There was NO breakfast as advertised. When booking, it was noted that there was breakfast, but shortly after I already booked I received an email from BW stating that because they were upgrading some of their amenities were not available and their coffee machine was OUT OF SERVICE the whole time. I found this disappointing because I stayed there previously the last week of July, two months earlier and there was the same issue. I see this as false advertising. 😕

Rooms were modern, clean, and easy to access from the parking lot. Staff were super helpful and efficient and I didn't have to wait long at all. Easy check in and easy check out. Loved that there was free parking. The location was super safe and next to the mall, and easy to access downtown SB.

The AC unit should NOT be in line with our heads/directly facing the bed, it blows air into our faces and is so loud it is hard to sleep. With the heat, not turning it on meant the room was uncomfortable. Was sad to see once we checked in that the pool next to our room was closed. Was not worth treking across the property to the other pool.

Renovated, modern. Love the pool, not too cold not too hot. Good shower.

Frontdesk staff during check-in was not motivated. The staff at night was excellent. I had to cover the sensor in the bathroom with paper and tape to prevent bright light switching on during nightly bathroom visits. The door to the patio was dirty, worn out and not replaced during renovation. Airconditioning, although new, is an old type that switched on and off during the night instead of keeping a constant temperature.

It was a pretty good location, and everything was pretty close like the museum, freeway, Santa Barbara pier. Almost everything was withing 5 to 10 mins away drive.

Something was wrong with the shower, it kept changing the temperature of the water, it would go back and forth from warm to extremely hot while showering. Also they need to change their amenities so it doesn't say they have free breakfast. I wasn't informed of that until the day before I was supposed to check in.

It’s a well-kept Inn. It has a bit dated decor (e.g. bathroom had 70s brown tile but it was really well-kept and clean). Beds were comfortable. Nice views of pool area. They’re in the process of renovating the hotel. The construction work (on one side of the hotel was closed off to the public) was out of sight (and ears) so it didn’t bother us. Our hotel room overlooked the communal pool / grassy area, which was an inviting area, where many families hang out with their kids. Very convenient location with many restaurants options walking distance. Jeannine bakery has a location nearby the hotel, and is a great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. La Cumbre Plaza Shopping Mall and Target is across the hotel.

Not much. We thought it was a great value hotel for Santa Barbara. The price quality ratio for the area was excellent.

Room was lovely, great balcony. Garden area was really nice. Staff in reception (Joel) and cleaning staff really nice. Very modern and clean. Hotel in middle of modernization Parking spaces easy to find and navigate.

No pool but that was totally understandable as pool is being done up, the hotel advised us of same before our arrival.

Location, design, and atmosphere. Good service and clean room.

Our hotel room had a locked door that lead into the next hotel room. Someone else was staying in the next hotel room, and I could hear everything going on in the next room because there was a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor which made our stay feel less private.

Office Staff at check in was incredibly friendly, professional and efficient! I was a bit worried about street noise as our door was close to the busy street, but once the door was closed it was silent! The room was bigger than expected and perfectly clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable! Better than expected. I liked the coffee pod machine.

It was great! The woman who helped us upon arrival was very nice and accommodating. The only issue i had was I was hoping for handicap bars to be on the opposite side of the shower, my husband needs those bars to get in and out.but other than that we are great stay. We are from Tulare and had to go to Goleta for a Drs appt for my husband.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean (I'm picky). We felt very comfortable. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby! Overall, a great and convenient stay!

We were sad that the pool was unavailable; construction was going on. However, we understand the upkeep. The location is doable if you have a vehicle; otherwise, a bit of a distance to the activities.
