Fab hotel in a great location 15 minute pretty walk to main strip Pacific Ave. The hotel has a great vibe - fun pool/bar/hot tub area. Lobby is really nice - staff super helpful and courteous. Our room faced the pool on 4th floor. I have seen other reviews about dirty rooms and rude service - not the case at all with us. The food and drink are pricey $30 for 2 cocktails, $45 for a muffin, egg sandwich and 2 coffees but the service was nice and so was the atmosphere. There are really limited rooms with a pool view and honestly since the windows face the outdoor walkway with folks walking by, you end up closing the shades for privacy so not such a big deal to get a regular room - just ask for a higher floor. (The first floor rooms I would stay away from - dark, you look at hedges and not private - especially around the entrances will be loud - banging gates)

Pricey food and drinks

Convenient location. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. It was quiet.

Not a lot of attention to detail. Things like the toilet paper was too thick for the holder so it was hard to get, the end of the moulding wasn’t painted, the wallpaper was peeling. Stuff like that. Also, we made a reservation on OpenTable for the restaurant for 9:00 which was when we got in and they told us the kitchen was closed. Don’t accept reservations for when the kitchen is closed!

Beautiful design and nice hang out area around the pool, the food in the restaurant was really good and they had some nice non alcoholic options. The bed was really comfortable and the interior of the room was modern and new. The location was really convenient and we could walk down to the pier. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but not too much, so we felt safe to walk.

While the pool area is really nice, it is not a huge area so it can get a bit crowded. Location is on a main road and you need to walk a tiny bit to get into a nice area for strolling, coffee etc

Being surprised! For starters, the onsite restaurant was excellent. Our wait staff was someone I would want to hire if I ran a restaurant! She represented herself, the restaurant and the kitchen with professional class and friendliness. (And I regret that I forget her name - but she more than earned her tip!) The room? It was comfortable and very sufficient for our needs. And the bed: I booked this hotel for reviews of the hotel's beds, as my wife doesn't usually sleep well on any hotel bed. Not Paradox: she slept very well and very comfortably. ("Maybe WE should get a bed like this one??" she commented.)

Nothing really...everything about our stay was great.

We loved everything. The decor is amazing. Our stay was so short we didn't get to play in the lobby. The restaurant was beautiful and the good was absolutely delicious. Eating and drinking at the pool was a luxury we didn't expect but enjoyed. Our room was spacious and beautiful.

The water machine was out of order on our floor and it took me a minute to figure out which floors had the ice machine. Also I really would have liked chairs outside our room. It was only available on the first floor.

Location is close to everything Old Town, restaurants, pharmacy, and grocery. Room rate(s) per night for the last week of December 2022 was good. But it’s not always the case.

1. Bed/pillows too soft. 2. No lamp/nightstand on one side of the bed - I had to put my phone or glasses on the floor. 3. Parking fee. (Before Marriott took over, parking was free.)

I like the fact that there's lots of counter space in the room; I like the exercise room.

It's unfortunate the hotel's wifi is an open system, which apparently is less secure than one requiring a. password. As I understand it, an open system makes doing anything online requiring a password a really bad idea.

There was a pretty big heated pool and a great bar area. They also had a hot tub. Food and cocktails were great. The room was big and the beds were very good.

There was some misunderstanding regarding the payment of breakfast. Booking offered breakfast, which is included in the price, but the bill was presented on the spot. In the end, the good young man at the counter realized that there had been some confusion and still did not take it into account. All good

We had a great time, made the most of the swimming pool and the tasty food at the restaurant

We had a problem with the reservation. Booking.com reservation was breakfast included and once there the hotel told us that we only had a coupon of $30 for the all family (4 people). The hotel told us they have a problem with Booking.com and tried to amend this. They kindly offered us to have the breakfast on them but it was an uncomfortable situation.
