Great location just outside of Twentynine Palms downtown. Love the funky ambiance (though shabby), VERY clean, no bugs, quiet enough at night, great value. Great water pressure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Would stay again.

Some of the room features were not quite up to snuff. The A/C didn't have a filter, blew dust out into the room. The "clothes rack" was a super cheap plastic rack that half collapsed when I set a bag on it (was able to reassemble). Takes a long time for hot water to get to the tap/shower. Shower curtain was not the cleanest. The outlet was a giant extension multiplug poorly fastened to the wall. But for the money in this location, I would happily stay here again.

The room is clean and you can sleep comfortably. It is cozy and cool when we came in to the room. Definitely a place that you want to stay in for a budget friendly and clean motel. I would rather stay here than at the campground

I like my stay here. I have a lot of things that I like at this place. Wi-fi works ok for me though it may be slow sometimes and you still can connect to internet and stuff. I mainly use internet to do some googling so the internet did not bother me that much. I can still access social media and stuff.

room was very large and loved the apartment size refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. My sister and I were very comfortable--two king size beds, desk, dresser. Staff very nice. Housekeeper Lynette was super warm and accommodating--always asking if we needed anything. Stayed 12 days and enjoyed the room.

internet was a bit slow at times; bathroom shower was not very powerful but manageable.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, it was as colorful as in the photos. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the complimentary toiletries and fresh towels provided. The location was convenient for exploring the area, and there were a few restaurants and shops nearby.

- Location is actually 50/50 : great location in terms of view and elevation with a nice & unobstructed view on the mountains around, but also located right by the highway…so depends on time and day - Owner is really friendly, welcoming and accommodating, he made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay as memorable and relaxing as possible; Forthcoming and helpful, gave nice recommendations for points of interest around town - Housekeeper, very nice lady, looks after the customers and also make sure we have all the comfort possible - charming property, artsy and colorful, which fits great of the amount of artwork/artists found in desert town - walking distance from downtown and restaurants (~10min or less) - Close to Joshua Tree National Park entrance

If anything at all, just the closeness to the highway

My own room , AC, was turned on, so the room was cool when I entered. Nick, the owner, was very kind and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. If you want your own room with no walls attached like a hotel, this is the place. Very private. There are coffee pads, cups, coffeemaker, a large refrigerator, a microwave and if you need an iron, it's upon request. I always enjoyed staying here. Recommend for sure

9 Palms is an experience, not just another roadside motel. We liked the separate little kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, table and two chairs. The colors are something else! You can see all this online before you decide to stay here. The history of 9 palms is interesting!

My family, & Me absolutely love staying at the 9 palms in Twentynine palms, Ca. The owner is fabulous and is always on point , and always has a smile for you when you check in or out. Person working front desk was very nice. Colors were fun. Vibe was chill.

Only thing I'd say is check the coffee maker. I believe need to be descaled.. I told the front desk and he said he would take care of and that he was proud of his employee who cleans. I thought that was chill actually.
