Wildwood Inn is such an absolute gem and we 100% will be back. It was perfect for our needs. It's so close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, the views from our balcony were A+. It was like stepping back in time in the best way possible - We loved going to the office and checking out DVDs (my kids thought it was the coolest). They even had extra things you may need (like bear spray for my overly worried husband). The playground was absolutely perfect. We spent most of our time hiking and didn't want to cook much so the place we had with the fridge was perfect. Are the rooms a little dated? Absolutely. Is it the Mountains and do you need to have a completely updated space when you should be outside? No. Also, there was a steam shower. We will 100% be back.

I can't think of anything - everything from check in to check out was great. It's definitely more dated, but for the price, amenities and comfort of the beds I don't think there is a way to complain about this stay.

The view was nice, the balcony is large and has a nice table and chairs. The kitchen is large and well supplied. There's a full-size fridge, comfortable seating, large beds, and no smell in the suite at all. It really feels like you're a guest in someone's home, and that's a lovely, relaxing feeling.

Some of the shades don't cover the windows in the bedroom, and you can be seen from outside at night from the car park, and the balcony could have had a little more privacy. The pillows are small and not very supportive, but that's a personal preference.

Beautiful facility, right down the road from park entrance. Bed was comfortable

We arrived at 5:25. I didn't know that there wouldn't be anyone in the office to check-in. Apparently they sent me an email which I hadn't checked my emails being on vacation. It was a self check in which is something new to me. I had trouble with it and it took about an extra half hour to check in with the help of a call center. It was very stressful since Estes Park was our destination and we drove for 3 days to get there. Other than this we had a great stay.

We had suite with private hottub on high balcony. View was beautiful. Hot tub on deck. How great is that? The room was warm and fireplace outstanding.

Had a list of dvd’s to checkout at ofc. But ofc was closed. Puzzling? However, was able to text for help and housekeeping met us at ofc. None of our chosen list of dvd’s was there ( out of hundreds on list) Puzzling? One of my wishes in most inn, is to have good lighting bedside. Not here. But, adequate lighting by sofa ( comfortable couch). So not a big deal.

This is our first time stay at this facility, though we have been to Estes park many times and stayed in a number of different places. The room was spacious, clean, and up-to-date. Cindy was an excellent host. I liked the steam shower, never been in one of those before. I liked that you could schedule private time in the hot tube, instead of one big communal time. The view was terrific and I liked that we were just right next to the park.

My only real issue was that the bed was too firm for my liking. I've never slept on a Tempura-Pedic before but found the experience not as pleasant as I was expecting. If you like a firm mattress, it's the one for you. They have other rooms that don't have Tempura-Pedic, just make sure you ask Cindy if mattress firmness is an issue for you.

1. Loved the "check-up phone call" we received from front office as we settled in to the room. 2. Loved the card on fireplace mantle about not only being a business, but a Godful reason as to why we selected that property. 3. Loved having our own hot tub! (Only recommendation would be to have larger, stable and safer steps when entering/exiting tub.) 4. Loved close location to R

1. The windows next to front door were slightly open, it was windy outside, could feel/hear wind, closed windows but they would not lockdown, same with King bedroom window. 2. The shower basin needs a good scrubbing with a brush and scouring/Clorox. 3. Toilet tank flapper must have a leak at bottom of tank as every couple minutes, the float would squeal as it was slowly filling up tank with water again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Wildwood Inn!!!! Ease of access into the park was a bonus, entire facility is well kept and clean! Grounds are well kept and maintained! Room is clean and well stocked, extra blankets for those chilly nights! Beds are the Tempurpedic beds and quite comfy! Bathroom is quite large and spacious - with an awesome HOT shower with GREAT water pressure)(steam shower available, however we did not utilize) We stayed for 4 days/3 nights - for our annual photo excursion to RMNP. We are in the park from sunup to sundown! And enjoy a nice inviting room for when we return exhausted from a FULL day in the park! ***We Will be back for next year! **** (Be sure to plan ahead on the RMNP reservation headache, it can be quite painful if you do not)

Would have preferred a kitchette style of room to prepare meals - we did bring prepared foods that we could warm in the mirco...... and a larger fridge with ice would be a great addition! (maybe we just did not locate the ice machine) :) We managed! We will be BACK!!!! We enjoyed the property!

The views from both the front door as well as the back deck were absolutely spectacular. There was reserved parking and, for us, no steps to walk up/down - our car was literally a few feet from our front door. The private hot tub was a bonus that we enjoyed, there were outdoor seating areas both by the front door facing north and the deck facing south, and the hosts were smart enough to keep a towel on a hook on the deck, presumably to be used to dry off the table/chairs without soiling bath towels. The entire unit was clean, there was a gas fireplace for chilly nights, the bed was very comfortable, the televisions were newer, extra towels were provided in the bathroom, and the kitchen was well appointed. The location was less than 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park shopping, restaurants and attractions and a mile away from RMNP.

It was nice to have a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom but it didn't work well for us, as my husband's bad knees made it difficult to navigate in and out of the tub to shower.

Great views of the mountains, very close to the entrance of RMNP, comfortable mattress, spacious and well ventilated bathroom, basic kitchenware provided, easy check-in and out although we had no actual interaction with the staff so don’t know how they are

Pillows were a bit too firm, TV very small with no channels(?) so couldn’t watch even the news, view from our unit’s balcony unfortunately partly blocked

The location was perfect for visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park as well as convenient to the town. It is spacious, homey, comfortable, and LOVED the huge windows and big kitchen. My first morning I came out to the living room and could see elk right across the road in the meadow!! There was a glitch in the check-in but, our hosts were quick to step in and remediate the problem. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wildwood and would return in a heartbeat!
