I was here for a wedding. There was a preset price for the family which I missed. The hotel said they would refund the difference. Then when the attendnt saw I booked through booking.com she said I booked through an outside source and she could not help. I was just looking for a little refund to the price everyone else said if there is anway to do that. I would be most happy with a $50 refund which is less than the difference. I am not greedy. Thank you.

The property is nice and clean. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Food is also good. It has all amenities needed for a short or long stay. The pool is very nice! I loved the way they styled the lobby and overall each corner has its charm. It’s close to a bike riding trail and also to a great park where you can get some tan on a petit beach or catch some fish.

I cannot thing of something I didn’t like.

The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the gazebo and the rocking chairs out front. Our room was quiet, spacious and warm. We also took advantage of the washer/dryer as were on an extended vacation. . The breakfast was delicious, with every nourishing food imaginable. But best of all was the Twigs Lounge where we enjoyed crab cakes and mussels, and an interesting wine menu.

The property is gorgeous, the beds are very comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the staff was wonderful and accommodating.

My ONLY hang up was the head chef in nutmeg cafe. He was very irritated and unprofessional. Shooed guests away when asking basic questions. My family also watched him drag the sign with the hours for the complimentary breakfast to a table trying to get them to leave as the breakfast was ending shortly. Not cool.

The breakfast was excellent. The items were hot and fresh. Nothing soggy. Great assortment of juices. Baked goods were fresh not frozen. Hannah, the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We plan on returning to see it closer to the holidays.

I didn’t like having to leave!!!! I wanted to stay another night and try the Sunday Brunch.

Location was very good

The rooms need some updating & more outlets. The breakfast was pretty good. However, I expected more for the price of the stay. Value doesn’t match the expectation & experience. But that’s Simsbury; and unfortunately, there aren’t many other options in the area.

We almost always stay at Simsbury Inn when we drop off and pick up our son from U of Hartford. It's not the closest or least expensive but it is very convenient to the school and always gives us good service and comfortable rooms. We've tried other hotels in the area but while some are very nice, they aren't conveniently located.

It was fine. Staff was exceptional. Atmosphere was just about right

Breakfast meats a little cool. Pool area could use some touch up.rust on doors and door jams.flaking paint around Pool. Made really nice area look a tad uncared fort was very nice

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Nice continental breakfast and I like that coffee is available all day.

The pool is great but could use an upgrade.

Idyllic and lovely. Beautiful location and ambience. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Stay was relaxing. Breakfast in the morning is nice and decent variety. There are some very nice restaurants very close by, but the restaurants in the property are pretty nice
