The property is nice and clean. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Food is also good. It has all amenities needed for a short or long stay. The pool is very nice! I loved the way they styled the lobby and overall each corner has its charm. It’s close to a bike riding trail and also to a great park where you can get some tan on a petit beach or catch some fish.

I cannot thing of something I didn’t like.

The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the gazebo and the rocking chairs out front. Our room was quiet, spacious and warm. We also took advantage of the washer/dryer as were on an extended vacation. . The breakfast was delicious, with every nourishing food imaginable. But best of all was the Twigs Lounge where we enjoyed crab cakes and mussels, and an interesting wine menu.

The property is gorgeous, the beds are very comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the staff was wonderful and accommodating.

My ONLY hang up was the head chef in nutmeg cafe. He was very irritated and unprofessional. Shooed guests away when asking basic questions. My family also watched him drag the sign with the hours for the complimentary breakfast to a table trying to get them to leave as the breakfast was ending shortly. Not cool.

We almost always stay at Simsbury Inn when we drop off and pick up our son from U of Hartford. It's not the closest or least expensive but it is very convenient to the school and always gives us good service and comfortable rooms. We've tried other hotels in the area but while some are very nice, they aren't conveniently located.

Breakfast meats a little cool. Pool area could use some touch up.rust on doors and door jams.flaking paint around Pool. Made really nice area look a tad uncared fort was very nice

The location served our purpose, while our home was going through a renovation. The pub was excellent, good food, drink and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The free continental breakfast was also very good with plenty of nutritious food. The Inn was very nice, well appointed and common areas represented New England and the local community very well.

Shower/bath needs minor updating.

We stayed at this property while our one bathroom is being renovated. We live less than two miles away. The breakfast was very good and there was a varied assortment. The room was well appointed and quiet. The bar and restaurant were enjoyable and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

We only stayed one night. During that time there was nothing notable that we did not like.

Idyllic and lovely. Beautiful location and ambience. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Stay was relaxing. Breakfast in the morning is nice and decent variety. There are some very nice restaurants very close by, but the restaurants in the property are pretty nice

Sadly I'm allergic to feathers ...did not realize all pillows were down. Had a tough time ..had to put the pillows outside the room..lots of antihistamines. Would be good if told that pillows were down so an alternative could be offered. This is a common allergy. Can't be the only guest to struggle with this.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Nice continental breakfast and I like that coffee is available all day.

The pool is great but could use an upgrade.
