It was clean. I loved the courtyard area with the gazebo and the fountain. I loved that the upper floors all had balconies and that you had little patios on the lower floors.

It was close to the highway, so it was a little loud with traffic when sitting outside, but I still enjoyed sitting outside. There weren’t very many restaurants you could walk to for someone who doesn’t use UberEats or any of the other delivery apps, but Linda at the front desk had a menu from Jet’s Pizza and they delivered & that was perfect.

Great road stop, easy access to local sights. If you are looking for a beachside resort, this isn’t the place. But it is a great road stop while traveling: good value with easy access to major highways and close enough to drive to beaches, restaurants and attractions. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms in our rooms were well equipped for elderly travelers with mobility issues (note that ours had tubs, not walk-in showers). There is a pool in the center courtyard (which we did not use during our stay). One nice part of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast room was carefully maintained and stocked by Todd, who made sure that everything was fresh and everyone was taken care of. (Oddly, although Todd was noticeably attentive to everyone, we saw few travelers actually tip him—just a reminder to those who forget their manners because there is no actual bill😊).

The only down side to our stay was that all of the rooms have sliding glass doors to the outside. That is great for those that face the pool, but not so much for those of us whose rooms faced the parking lot. The large expanse of glass and flimsy lock made for a bit of (probably unwarranted) unease during the night. We would stay there again but would request an inner room.

There was no elevator so heavy luggage had to be carried up stairs. The breakfast was very good and kept nicely supplied. This is walkable to the ballpark and a few eateries. Housekeeping every 3 days but the girls were very nice and asked if there was anything we needed and checked to be sure the room was clean for us. Beds were very comfortable too.

Its on a busy road and we couldn't find a place at the pool, but that was ok. Help should be automaticallly called for heavy suitcases to be brought upstairs.

The property is well maintained. The groundskeeper is very excellent. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I have stayed here before and would stay here again. The only thing was the price of the room was quite a bit more this time but I knew it was a great place so I stayed there. Thank you, I had a nice stay.

The shower curtain should be plastic not material. The tub was narrow and you had to direct the shower head towards the wall so you don’t get water on the floor. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The person that checked me in was helpful and problem solved an issue to get me checked in. Prior to arriving I had been told there were Keurig coffee makers in the room and I was very happy because I love my coffee. I brought my own kcup coffee even. But upon arrive there was only a small drip coffee maker in the room. Tonie was also helpful because she found me a Keurig coffee maker to use during my stay and I was greatly appreciative for that. I appreciated the room being in a back corner of the hotel away from stairs, elevators...because I had requested a quiet room.

I had mentioned twice that I would be arriving early. Upon arrival the room said it was cleaned but waiting inspection. I was asked to either wait or I could leave and come back in about an hour. So I left and returned and the room still had not been inspected. I sat in the lobby and waited another hour before asking what the hold up was. Thankfully the front desk person then got me checked in so I could put my things in the room and begin my stay.

Friendly workers

Our room was not ready at 3:00 pm but 4:00 pm. After driving from Miami that one hour seemed like for ever. I heard the women at the front desk say they had a hard time getting people to leave. If I paid for a room to start at 3:00 it should be ready.

Fun breakfast area. every morning we saw more new faces. the staff are friendly and professional. Tonnie at reception is wonderful, and Linda so helpful; always friendly and efficient. Andrew is great; on the ball and a source of solutions to problems. Love the ample parking and huge trash bins. very clean and fresh. loved the lush green everywhere. the pool and seating area. Music all the time. The location is perfect: literally Central of everything so driving anywhere is in perfect timing. Thank you La Quinta

The wifi speed at night

Stopped here for one night while on the road travelling Florida and found it, like all the other La Quinta/Wyndham hotels we've stopped at, to be a fully adequate acomodation that suited our needs perfectly. Room, bathroom, and beds were adequately large - the beds of a good firmness - and everything was clean and tidy. As seems to be the standard, though, the AC was noisy to the point of rattling and the curtains didn't really make the room dark enough at night. However, we slept well and weren't disturbed by either traffic or other guests (although sound travelled quite far through the halls). Breakfast was served in an adjacent building and was quite adequate for our swedish needs (but WHY is everything single-use plastic everywhere(?) in the USA?). Parking was plentyful and included. All in all highly satisfied with our stay and could very well stay here again if we're ever passing through.

BEST STAY IN ENTIRE CLEARWATER TAMPA BAY AREA. BEST POOL, HOT TUB, BREAKFAST, AND STAFF. ALSO VERY VERY QUIET. I travel constantly so I'm used to being woke up from noise. Too early room Services and rushed out of my room during Checkout. BUT NOT HERE. THE STAFF REALLY GOES TYE EXTRA MILE AT THE La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Clearwater Central BEST HOTEL LEVEL SERVICES for half the PRICE❣ And Dog and FAMILY FRIENDLY. I usually only stay at Drury Inn Hotels because of the amazing Pool, Hot Tub and Breakfast and service. But THIS ONE HAS IT ALL AND IS A LOT LESS EXPENSIVE GUYS! We have 2 Dogs and our AC unit was having problems. Within 15 minutes Andrew the Maintenance Man had us all swapped out with a completely NEW UNIT. We SLEPT SO WELL! And Between Andrew's Amazing friendly nature and going the extra mile to call us ahead and instead of knocking on our door and triggering our Dogs he just spoke softly and gave our 2 Boys love and had us all fixed up on just 15 minutes. Completely NEW AC and we slept REALLY WELL. THANKS TO ANDREW!! MANY MANY THANKS TO ANDREW and his good, friendly, amazing spirit. We were very short on sleep and 2 Dogs bark. Andrew went the extra mile to get to know our boys first. Then called and only spoke through the door really low so the Dogs wouldn't bark and wake up Mom. Front Desk Attendant Toni gave us a late checkout so we could sleep in and finally were not rushed out. Plus A SUPER AMAZING HOT TUB, POOL, REALLY QUIET. Good Breakfast too! Because of the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MAINTENANCE Man Adrew, snd the great Services Hot Tub, Gazebo, Pool and quite rooms. I was extremely impressed and believe me I travel CONSTANTLY for work and bottom line is Top Shelf Price and Services always go to Drury Inn Hotels for me. I NEVER STAY AT ANYTHING MARRIOTT. AWFULLY POOR QUALITY AND CONSTANTLY BROKEN EQUIPMENT AND MARRIOTT EVEN BUSTS INTO YOUR ROOM AT 3 AM WAKING YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY. So I was hesitant to try anything else but Drury Inn.

Yes very convenient and the two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, they suggested to go to a national park on sand key and it was spectacular, they also suggested to go to Clearwater beach and we saw the most amazing sunset and made our trip very memorable

The A/C in the room wasn’t working properly, it said 69 degrees but it was certainly not that , it was very hot at night and it made it uncomfortable to sleep and we all woke up multiple times because of the heat. The beds were AWESOME, like the type of mattress you would like to have always at home , the pillows on the other hand were not the greatest, you should consider changing the supplier.. as a constructive suggestion, and lastly the bed for someone like me I’m 5’11 to be shared it’s not big enough , other than that very pleasant! Also the housekeeping ladies were very sweet and attentive
