The location is amazing and the owner went above and beyond. He was quick to answer any and all questions and you can see the love he has for his place. He truly cares about the building and the vacationers. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The ac worked perfectly. The water pressure was impressive also. That sounds odd, but I hate trying to shower and it feels like the water is trickling out. Not an issue here at all.

Im not really sure what I didn't like about the place. The pictures are accurate. You're not staying in a Hilton with granite counter tops. You're staying in a beach condo along the coast. It definitely had a beachy vibe. Anytime we needed anything or had any questions, it was easy to find either the owner or an employee, and they were all quick to answer and provide help. I would definitely stay here again. A broom! There is something we didn't like. Haha, the room had a dustpan, but no broom. I could have asked for one, and im sure he would have gotten it, but it wasn't ever on my mind when we saw anyone.

The room was comfy and cozy. The bed was nice I had a good sleep every night. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper were all provided. As were tea, coffee and creamer. The room was more than we expected as it also had a little kitchenette including stove, fridge and microwave with ample cutlery and cleaning supplies. The TV was big with a nice selection of channels. The shower was clean and the water was nice and hot! Cory was very helpful and accommodating, even allowing us a late check out and holding our luggage for the day before our flight. All in all a great stay!

Nothing we didn't like.

I like the fact that it was on the beach I like the fact that it was a whole apartment not just a studio it was roomy clean had a dishwasher it also had a balcony where you could see the beach and listen to the waves crash you could go in through the bedroom door to the balcony and then through the living room it had Wi-Fi that worked it had TV channels that you could watch and I don't have to worry about nothing to watch on TV you were provided with clean towels everything you needed while you were there they provided coffee downstairs coffee maker dishwasher soap everything everybody was friendly and they bend over backwards to help you with a smile it was well worth this day and I plan on going back it was worth the money and it was the best place that I've been since I've been in Daytona Beach I love the place and the color was yellow The color of sunshine puts a smile on your face!

There was nothing that I did not like!

Seashells is an older place but it was clean, the room was ready when we got there and we were a little early. We had an ocean front room and the view was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. The pool was nice and kept clean. If you aren’t expecting a luxury hotel and are happy with comfortable clean beds and rooms, this is a great place, plus it’s close to everything. We would stay there again.

I liked how the staff was on top of what we needed and how close it was to the beach. Also the room was cozy and beautiful as well. A great little spot if you’re not a big on big hotels and fancy things. I’m not a real fancy person. So I enjoyed this quiet little hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like is it didn’t have a private balcony and the steps to the beach wasn’t fun either. But that’s it.

The Internet was real good

The freezer had too much ice in it TV remote was hard to use it took me two hours to get it started should have had better instructions can't wait till the parking lot is fixed we would like to have our own private balcony that with too many people hanging around talking at night not too late and it was quiet we only met the guy in the front desk we wish maybe might have cleaned the room the windows were very dirty from the spray from the ocean wish they had cleaned it more than once the bathtub all didn't have any hand rails nothing to hold on to

We really liked our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it worked well with our family to have a kitchen, full sized fridge, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates/ cutlery/ dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable, with nice mattress toppers. It was also nice to have a separate living room and dining area. Our room was nice and clean. Although the cleaning service wasn't daily, if we needed anything, we could message the staff and they would be able to assist us. Office hours are reduced to check in and check out times, but once again, you can message and help will be available. Also, the staff and building manager are often available outside, so the reduced hours had no negative impact on us. The sea view from our balcony was also extremely beautiful! We love Daytona Beach, so we'll definitely be back.

The doors to the private balcony don't have the greatest seal, so the street noise is definitely more noticeable. Since this is Daytona Beach, there will always be lots of traffic everywhere, so if traffic noise is something that bothers you like it does me, just make sure to bring ear plugs, and you'll be just fine. The magnetic key cards are finicky, but we did keep them away from our phones and didn't need them remagnetized at all. We also kept 1 in the car, like they told us to do in case of emergency, but didn't end up needing it, thankfully.

Location was good. Beachfront, though not immediately accessible sue to some construction. Room was fine.

Wifi is horrible!!! Couldn't watch one sports game. Had to use my phone and I still couldn't watch it until I turned my wifi off. The shower pressure release wasn't able to turn off. When you turned water on, the shower automatically turned on. Other than that, it was a decent value for the money. I'd stay here again.

The room was an instant hit, clean and comfortable. This smaller establishment is less crowded than the surrounding beach front properties. The staff were best at responding and anticipating the needs of my stay with my very friendly dog. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was excellent!

Leaving

Being a woman traveling alone I was very happy with Sea Shells. I asked for a room that wasn't on the first floor and they responded immediately that they moved me to the second floor. It was quiet and I felt safe while there. The staff and communication were perfect. I always knew what was going on from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and comfortable but the floor could have been cleaner (welcome to the beach) and the light above the bathroom sink didn't work. All in all I would stay here again.
