I do not like the pressure to attend a presentation for a time share. I love the Wyndham Ocean walk but have absolutely no desire to be an owner. I made my feelings and intentions about what type of customer I am and will continue to be in the future crystal clear to the one young lady handing out the wristbands, but she seemed irritated with me for refusing to change my mind. I do not need the pressure and will think twice about future stays because of it.

The location is excellent. Boardwalk and beach is top notch. The facility is very clean and staff friendly.

They make you pick up your wrist bands (to get in and out of resort) at a sales presentation desk so they can sell you timeshares. This is very tacky and downright deceitful. The sales reps are very pushy and will not take NO for an answer. Stay away from these land sharks!!

For $350 a night, parking should be free. When you book a room for 6-8 guests you would think you would get up to 2 parking spots. Instead they make you park your other vehicle across the street in a sketchy parking garage for $10/ a night. For what you are paying for a weeks stay, they could at least give you a voucher for parking. Also, 6 homeless men sitting outside the parking garage every day. It doesn’t make you feel safe with young children when you have to walk over there to get your vehicle!

I love the pools and easy access to the beach. I have came to this resort 4 times already! Clean and I really enjoy the Ocean View rooms! Also there are lots of shops and resturants to choose from all in walking distance.

Only thing I disliked there is not enough pool chairs. You seem to only get one when you go outside at 6-8 am and people put their stuff on the chairs and hours will go by and noone comes back. There should be a limit if you leave your chair unnattended.

The property looks great!! It is very attractive, clean, and it offers a great variety of things and activities to enjoy your vacations. Impressive!!! Two thumbs up!!! It’s a family friendly place full of fun things for the children and parents as well.

The thing I did not like is that after traveling for soooo long to get there (we drove from NYC), as soon as I checked-in, I was pulled to be convinced into going to a one hour meeting that I really did not want to participate in. I was tired and hungry. My family was still in the car, waiting for me. The last thing I wanted to hear was that you would like me to go to a meeting. I found the whole experience stressful.

This is the second time I stayed.. first time was perfect.this time my complaint is to the owners of room 2433 Northside.. because staff was great.. but on the dishes that were supplied cooking utensils was extremely little they didn't even have a basic can opener in there.. which I happen to have one in my car from when I went camping so I left it in the room for the next person to come use it.. their room also had carpet and the little sweeper that they provided to sweep up stuff like standing everything else was broke it was so old that the handle how it screws together wouldn't screw together so they handle would pull right off every time he tries to use it so it'd be a sweeper with about an 11 in handle so I had to be on the floor to try to sweep and due to the sweeper being so old and wore out it really didn't work good.. also my TV quit working you couldn't hear any sound, so I go to the front desk . They are like I will get someone right over for you. And I will say no sooner than I made it to my room there was a man to work on my TV and the owners of the room needed to replace the HDMI cord which was shorted out or old and tore up.. so basically yeah location is great I love it the place is great I love it the pool deck is great I love it it's close to everything it's so much fun it's a beautiful location and like I said this was my second stay and the only complaints I have her to the room owners of that room in particular... I would absolutely go there again and has something for people of all ages so it's great for the family.. but room owners 2433..don't take care of their stuff .

I liked how close it was to the beach.

I feel the rooms could have been cleaner. If found a booger on one of the bar stools upon arriving, there was hair in the shower, and you can tell the couches aren’t moved to vacuum and clean because I found a kids toy under the small easily moved couch and an old remote. It was also hard to reach front desk for assistance. I would press 0 and never got an answer. I used the text number is stated as well for assistance and never got a response. It would also be helpful for the facility to have ice machines as the fridge one isn’t fast enough and doesn’t make enough ice.

We had an oceanfront room on the 13th floor, really an entire apartment with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet. Convenient parking in a garage that could be accessed in minutes via a very fast elevator. Amazing staff, go out of their way to be helpful. Lots of amenities like pools, hot tubs, a lazy river, a small arcade, etc, that we mostly didn’t get a chance to use. Starbucks on the lower level, we definitely used that.

The room’s decor was very outdated and screamed 1990s and the hotel’s vibe was definitely from that era. This part of Daytona Beach feels like it’s best days have passed.

the beds were not comfortable, they need to change mattresses. the guys from Wyndham made us waste 3 hours because they wanted to sell us time sharing at hotel tower next door, they told us it was mandatory to listen to them.

Warm and friendly greeting from the staff. Easy to get set up. The rooms were great, clean, and felt like an escape. Having multiple pool settings for our family with age ranges from 1- 12 years old helped everyone enjoy space of their own. Lots of amenities that were appreciated!

A though the multiple pool options was great, did feel like they could have been cleaner. Kiddie pool was stained and larger pools and hot tubs felt somewhat icky and probably need better cleaning system
