From the moment you walked into the lobby, the place smelled fresh and clean. Our room was bigger than expected and freshly cleaned as well. The staff are all super friendly, but the front desk, cleaning krewe to the security in the parking area. The bartenders are always super friendly and they have some live music daily--family friendly as well!

The only thing we didn't like, was the parking. You are only allowed one vehicle per room which makes it tough when two separate couples meet for the weekend! But, they do advise you of safe parking other places around Daytona.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Felt secure in the area and it was right at the beach with a great tiki bar and pool hot tub. Also great area to park your motorcycles for a bike rally

I realize everybody’s short staffed now but every day except for the last one, and I was there four nights, we had to go get our own towels, toilet paper essentials. It wasn’t a big deal, but sometimes we came back late at night and still had to stop and grab towels, etc.

Hotel and oceanfront room were both beautiful but there were some issues after checking in. First of all, our room was not ready at 4 which is check in time. Didn’t have to wait long so no big deal. When we did get to the room the tile floor was soaking wet. We were not given any notification about the wet floor and my husband had just had knee surgery and almost fell. Also, the elevator close to our room did not work and we were on the 3rd floor. We were not informed that they had valet parking so we parked in the garage parking. As we entered the room we heard beeping from inside and it was the smoke alarm…battery needed replaced. Housekeeping had just been there. And lastly the phone didn’t work so I had to use my cell phone to call front desk. I think the hotel has recently been renovated and there were still workers there. But all in all, all issues were taken care of quickly and the visit ended up very nice.

My room was a king size bed with lots of room. It over looked the pool and ocean. It was within walking distance of the board walk and a lot of stores. Staff was very friendly. My plane took off much later then check out. Staff gave me options on how to keep my room for more hours which was good for me.

There was construction going on next and in front of the hotel which took some of the bus stops away. I tried walking down the street to catch another one, but by the time I got there I was too hot and stepped back in the shade and missed it. Staff was not able to give info on the bus that ran. Only problem I had with the room was I kept hearing water turn on and off all night in someone else’s room or area. It kept me awake at times, I didn’t figure out until the last night to shut the bathroom door and it blocked a lot of that.

We stayed here 4 years ago with our grandsons. The whole hotel seemed a little dated, dirty and dingy. After the storms many locations needed repairs. We were happy to see all the renovations. And it looks like they are adding more. Quite beautiful now. We booked a suite for the 5 of us this time and we're surprised by the size and views. This was only 1 night, but will definitely book longer next time.

Right on the beach with a nice pool area. Nice rooms that were big and comfortable!

We loved the staff, the monitoring of vehicles for their care. The security/ valet were very helpful! The location was perfect and the rooms were fairly clean.

The parking was an issue. It would be helpful to have another two level parking garage to accommodate the amount of guests. Other than that no complaints at all!

Although the hotel was older, the rooms were updated and very nice. The pool and beach were very convenient and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Judian is an amazing, professional bartender!

The closet in our room smelled bad. It was almost like old cigarette smoke. Perhaps they didn't repaint it when they did the rest of the room? We didn't use the closet, and when the doors were closed, it was fine.

Location, location, location. It was the best. The area of the beach was beautiful. The pool area was fantastic. It was only a short walk to the Boardwalk. I felt safe even when walking at night too and from the boardwalk and restaurants in the area.

Constant smell of pot being smoked, but that can't be helped during Spring Break and it's not the hotel's fault. My husband was in a wheel chair and there was not easy access from the pool to the beach.
