I liked the room (it was just like the advertised picture) and it's privacy. The staff were also great. I didn't look around outside of my room too much, but I didn't get the impression that there was any spare room for a pool, but I wonder if you've considered a spa/hot tub with a bit of a privacy screen in the courtyard? It's actually more difficult than I thought it would be to find a hotel with a hottub - maybe they are a pain? If one was added, I would DEFINITELY make plans to come back to Delray and be a return guest (I probably will anyway IF I'm in the area again).

There was a sense of homeliness and charm that is hard to find. There is great value in simplicity and humility. Everything was exactly as one would need without all the unnecessary thrills. It was a perfect place to be well located but still away from the noise. It felt like a family run business without losing its relevancy compared to large conglomerates.

The bed could have been slightly more firm but that's a personal preference. The sheet a bit more tight fitting would have been appreciated. But these weren't big enough issues to prevent me from having restful nights.

Room was big, close to the parking lot, really quiet despite being close to a busy street, walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) from Delray main street and a block away from a publix and walgreens

there's no directions for finding the room, isn't a big property but not knowing if it's on the back or on the front makes it a bit confusing

Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

I booked late at about 10 pm so check in was a little bumpy. I also was assigned a room right on the road that was noisy from traffic and a dog incessantly barking across the street. My request to change rooms was accomodated after my complaint. Seems odd that I was not given the quieter room, off the road, first. Just created more delay.

Great staff, very helpful, and respond quickly to any questions you may have. Really comfortable place within walking distance of a lot of Delray Beach businesses. It was easy to access from car with luggage, no stairs. The unit I stayed in was super clean.

TV was Sling only. Couldn't access local weather/news stations. Also, parking was fine for my stay, but I can see it being an issue during the height of the summer vacation season.

Great location. A old motel but nicely updated. Clean room. Comfortable bed.

No ice or microwave unless someone was in the office to provide it. Aerator was missing on faucet so it sprayed everywhere. Toilet was not grouted at base (a code violation) so it was loose and wobbled. Not one single towel bar in this room. Advertised it was pet friendly but after arrival there was a note in the room that you could not leave your pet in the room unattended, no exceptions. This is almost impossible to do. I had no choice but to violate the rule to attend to my daughter's wedding. My dog does not bark when left alone. I would stay again if it were not for this restriction.
