The proximity to the ocean was perfection. Glorious sunrises just outside our front door every morning. The very short walk to a beautiful, private sandy beach with large umbrellas and comfy lounge chairs was so convenient. The views were stunning! We took daily beach walks, and swam in the ocean and the heated pool everyday. Every staff member was polite, friendly and very efficient and accommodating. The people we met there, many of whom have been coming for years, were all so lovely. The place had that Old Florida charm and character. Our apartment was comfortable, clean and had most of what we needed. The continental breakfast was simple but met our needs quite well. The coffee which was readily available all day was actually so delicious! We used our patio every day for breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby restaurants and shops. We really can't say anything negative. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Loved the staff. The girl who checked us in was lovely. The beach was beautiful. Our rooms were next to each other so we could meet with family and enjoy a nice time together. It was a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.

The store had some issues but a man came in and helped us correct the problem. Otherwise it was wonderful. There is nothing else bad to say about our stay. It was a great weekend, wish we could have stayed longer.

The property has the charm of old Miami Beach motels. Directly on the beach. Private entrance to your room, no lobby. I hate to come down elevators or walk through lobbies. When I stay beach front I want to step out of my room directly to the beach. This property has a short direct path to the sand. It’s a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We love to not have to carry our own pool/beach towels. They provide them and in plenty of abundance to swap them out when they’re wet or full of sand. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas and on this trip I noticed also beach toys for the kids. There are plenty of tables/chairs under a covered area between the pool and beach toys sit and have a meal, play a game, have a conversation or whatever you’d like.

The greatest advantage of the Delray Breakers is its location. Right on a splendid beach away from the crowd. It’s very laid back, casual, they want to maintain the atmosphere of Florida in the 1950´s. It’s an ideal place to relax and enjoy long walks on the beach, their pool, the lounge chairs and parasols on the beach. We were there 10!years ago. The small bungalows have been renovated up to a point, new chairs on the beach and around the pool, well kept gardens and putting green. A fresh coat of paint on all the exterior walls of the small units. Inside them units, a mix of old and really old with a few modern items. The breakfast they serve is for pick up at their small library room with bottles of water, juices, coffee, tea, danishes, bagels, health bars and sometimes oranges. They have one Laundry and one dryer machines a bit rusty but still working , free for the guests’ use. An ice machine and Coke machine. Some people rent for a whole month year after year. You can bring your dog to the Delray Breakers which is a big plus. If you find the rooms third class, and the price not in Lign with that, no one could blame you but the place is so relaxing and ideal to recharge one’s battery without chichi- read, walk, swim. To walk to Atlantic Avenue where the action is in Delray is rather far but some new restaurants and stores can be walked to from the Breakers over the Linton Bridge. We probably will go back there as we really enjoyed it. Each unit has a small front patio with two chairs and a table and to lounge chairs

It's the second time we stay and we this is our go-to destination. It's a wonderful room, everything is clean, and organized. Even though the pool had an issue this time with the heating they fixed it in a fairly reasonable time. I would recommend updating the grill, but it's been working no problem! The beach front it wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay.

I'd just recommend upgrading the grill. It works fine, but eventually might be a good investment :) When I called I asked for a first floor and the woman said she couldn't guarantee, so that was a bit upsetting, but luckily when we arrived we were able to get a room on the first floor for me due to my pregnancy.

We had a mini family reunion and our rooms were side by side, near the pool, and not far from the beach. The kitchen was a bonus as we brought food to cook. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and shower were fine. I realize the building is an older one, but I was very happy with the entire apartment.

The oven was a bit touchy. My husband had to open all the windows as the oven smelled bad when he used it. The burners on the rangetop didn't go on right away, so that was something to check out.

A welcoming place to enjoy with family, featuring an incredibly friendly and always helpful staff. The rooms and all facilities are spotless. Plus, you have the beach right across, ready for you to enjoy to the fullest.

The building is old; they just need to repair the doors, as they don't work well. Otherwise, everything is fine; they keep it clean, and that helps a lot.

It was like stepping back in time to the 1960's/70's. Super old school place right down to the plastic tile in the bathroom but CLEAN! If you only do fancy and new, this isn't your place. If you do like good hospitality (Crystal at the front desk is delightful), clean BIG apt with bagels, oatmeal, Danish, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, a fridge full of cold drinks and walking out your back door to either sit on your your own patio, at the pool or on the beach in the hotel supplied lounges, then you've found home.

Having to leave and go home... I honestly have no complaints other than the mattress was really too hard for me.

Daily continental breakfast which was simple but fine. Apartment was very nice, with a retro feel. Loved the kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and kitchen stuff. Most things were updated. Bathroom was kind of dated but everything was very clean. Very happy with accommodations overall. Great access to beach. Supplied canopies and chairs at beach. Had grill available onsite for grilling. Pool and grounds were nice.

Could update bathrooms. But again, they were clean. Being south florida, fans would be nice, but room was cool. Had to replace grill gas tank which was slightly annoying but not that big of a deal.

This place is right on the beach and they have a well cared for pool. Plenty of showers to get the sand of your feet. My biggest like was the free parking! They even gave my son a pass for when he came by! Great customer service. We unfortunately had to leave a day early and they didn't charge us for the last day!

Rooms are a bit dated, but to be expected with a property built in'68!
