For a start we were given rooms in the building across the street (West) which had serious problems regarding very strong stench of mold and an AC which did not work. Staying there would simply be dangerous to our health. The next morning the staff responded quickly, professionally and serviceminded. We were upgraded to rooms in the main building (East) which had no problems. We cannot praise the quick response and satisfactory resolution enough - otherwise we would have had to leave the motel. The pool area was great.

This property is on the beach with a great pool & Jacuzzi. Very clean and well managed premises. Room was exceptionally well-equipped. Bed was comfortable. I stayed at Canada House West - across the street and I loved it. Staff was outstanding, friendly, pleasant & helpful.

A. I stayed for 12 nights - A visit mid-stay or so from housekeeping to clean/freshen up the room would have been enthusiastically accepted. B. The staff were all incredibly pleasant and helpful except for one gentleman - the night I arrived (late). I am not going to get into the nitty gritty but his tone was not friendly and welcoming (as though I had interrupted his evening) and I was struggling with my heavy suitcase up the stairs (I am 65+) to reception and he just stood there at the top of the stairs watching and waiting.

I really like the location. It’s very calm, close to the beach and it has a lot of play area and entertainment. The pool and hot tub were very convenient. There’s also a few grill and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room and facilities are clean and in good conditions. The kitchen has mostly everything you need to cook except for a cutting board. We had a nice view from the apartment. The staff is super friendly and nice. I became friend with other guests in the hotel. It’s for sure a nice, safe, family friendly environment.

A cutting board would have been helpful. The AC in the apartment was very loud but it worked good. The mattress on the sofa and the extra bed were very hard and uncomfortable. (The bed in the bedroom was fine). At the end to checkout we were asked to put all the bed linen in a laundry basket but the laundry basket was tiny so we had to leave a huge pile of sheets and covers next to the bed. The elevator is very slow. We avoided the elevator because it takes forever even when there’s no one else using it but we had to take it every time we got groceries and wow, it’s stressful just to wait for it.

Location was convenient and the grounds are maintained very nicely Easy, short walk to the beach on path along beautiful mangroves Staff was friendly and helpful with accommodations Kitchen was nice and had all appliances/dinnerware if needed Bathroom was clean, water pressure good in shower Nice Patio overlooking lagoon with view of Ocean and Lighthouse beyond dunes

Toilet tank valve repair on first day - but it was fixed quickly before maintenance left for the day A/C started making a (fan clicking) noise in ceiling later on first day and of course didnt do it when maintenance came next day but started again later and intermittently throughout stay at night Bathroom tile/tub/vanity in clean/good condition but a little dated Vanity Sink Faucet was difficult to access water handle Furniture not real comfortable to sit on for very long

Location is absolutely perfect. Close to everything. Beach was beautiful. Pool was clean. They even have a hot tub great place for kids.

The beds are super uncomfortable. I ended up having to buy an air mattress from Walmart to sleep on. Everything else about this place is perfect. Just the beds are very uncomfortable.

I liked everything about it. The location was great, the facilities, staff, the room, the bed, the parking, the pool and jacuzzi. The property is kept very well. Hurricane doors and windows. Know that east bldg. means on the beach. West bldg. is across A1A. I stayed on the east bldg.

Right across street from beach. They have 2 buildings- one on beach side, one across the street. Free parking.Both have lovely pool and spa with ample lounge chairs. Elevator is a plus, especially with luggage.very nice staff.

Not crazy at first about the Murphy bed but it was actually very comfortable and gave us more room when it was pushed up into the wall.

-Well kept inside and outside. Clean. No damaged furniture. -Good size rooms. -Steps from the beach. -Quiet. Situated away from typical So. FL noise

-Not a “walkable” location to places to eat (maybe 1 restaurant) or shopping

The friendliness of Evelyn the manager and Ken the front desk man. The fact that I got upgraded at no extra cost from the West hotel to the East hotel. That the place was everything like what earlier reviews stated.

Minor problem. The a/c was set at 65 when I arrived! I hate a/c. Took almost 1 day to warm to 78.

The location was very good and it was an excellent value. The studio was very clean, but the unit -202- needs some TLC. The bathroom faucet needs to be repaired. The bottom of the drawers near the bed are falling through.

Needs repairs.
