I have to say, I was beyond impressed. I had to book last minute and was a bit hesitant because the price was so reasonable. When we arrived, I was extremely pleased. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. There are two pools (note one of the pools is for owners only), a hot tub, gas BBQ grills and a short path that leads right to a private beach used by the residents/guests of La Costa. They also have activities during the week which included Karaoke! Our room was a studio. It included a small but full kitchen and had everything you would need to cook a full meal. The bathroom is small but did the trick. There is also a large flat screen TV., couch, comfy chair and coffee table. The only complaint I have is the bed. It was a murphy bed (pulls down from wall). They are similar to a pull out and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. This could easily be replaced with a regular bed since most guests would not put the bed away during their stay unless they needed extra room. Overall, I give a 5 star. I would recommend staying here and if we come back to Pompano Beach, we will return to La Costa.

The amenities were very nice, and the grounds were well maintained. They had several pools and lots of tables and chairs around the property to relax in. Also the condo was very clean and we'll stocked. Also, it was a great location with a beautiful view of the lighthouse from the beach.

We booked an oceanview king unit. However, we were given a first floor unit, and there was no oceanview to speak of. We had a nice patio, but there was a large sand dune in front of it that you could not see over. Also, they did not provide options for beach chairs, but I believe there were some rentals at the property next door.

The location was perfect, right on the beach. Our room was very reasonably priced and there were no extras tacked on as some places do. Even though I think it’s actually a timeshare resort there was no pressure about buying at all which is a good thing. The pools were big and the grounds are very pretty and well maintained. Check in was a snap and the few encounters we had with staff were very friendly. Our studio room seemed as though it’s recently had some upgrades. New appliances and fixtures and tv. The kitchen was small, but adequate for us.

Two not make or break issues we had was the vanity in the bathroom was very narrow I had to keep our toiletries on the kitchen counter. My fault I guess but I didn’t realize our room had a Murphy bed and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. Ended up using the pull out which unbelievably was better. Next time I will pay more attention.

We liked this place. It is directly on the beach and the price is very affordable. We had a nice small studio with fully equipped kitchen: stove, big fridge, microwave and everything else. It was clean and nice, the staff is helpful.

They have a sauna, but the temperature in it is about 100F. This is about the same as outside. So it is not a real sauna. Check in time is after 4pm and checkout is at 10am. It is a bit narrow time slot. However it was possible to arrange a one hour later check out for free. To check out between 11am and 12pm would cost $50 and a minute later it would be the full day price. In many hotels it you pay the half day price you can stay the real half day. The only problem was that the air conditioner in teh room was noisy and located on the level of the bed, one foot from it, just in front of the head. So the cold air is blowing to your face the whole night.

The property was beautiful! The checkin process was super fast and easy. The staff were the very helpful when asked about recommendations on places to eat. We booked this property after reading reviews on booking.com….its less populated than other places in Florida. It was like we had our own private beach, the walk from our room to beach was about 300 feet. We enjoyed the choice of three separate pools on the property for a late afternoon swim. They have very nice gas grills also that you can use to cook and enjoy your meal right on the patio. This was our first visit here, it will not be our last. The restaurant next door” Seaside Grill and Tiki Bar” is a must!

There was anything we didn’t like

Location to the beach, just a 2 minute walk out a small gate on the complex. Got up and watched the sunrise every morning, perfect. The facilities were excellent such as pools indoor and out, gym and table tennis. My room included a fully functional kitchen and had all the utensils, plates and kitchen ware you needed, including washing up materials and a complimenty caffeine and decaf coffee and filters. Highly recommend!

I really like the property, the location was everything! It wasn’t fancy, but it was well put together. Many of the things were outdated, but they were currently updating everything. It was very relaxing. The staff was very nice whenever I saw any other staff members they’d greeted us with a smile. The appearance and the size of our room was very nice. There was also free parking. The location was fantastic. It was right on the beach had a beautiful sunrise view. I’m a runner and it had a really great long run route up A1A it was safe place to run or bike… Restaurants were a short drive away, within 20 minutes. We recommend Bambu juice bar it is close by and has fabulous fresh juices and smoothies perfect for a beach vacation.

The only real negative for me was the bed was extremely uncomfortable for both my husband and I and so was the couch so I felt like I had nowhere I could sit and relax in the room. But within saying that we would return…

Really great stay for one night. We had a whole 2 floor townhouse with a living room and full kitchen. The bed was big and comfortable, room was very clean and equipped. The staff was really friendly and they generously let us enjoy the hotel facilities after our check out given we had a late flight. They held our bags for us twice.

There was a weird smell inside the room, probably humidity, but nothing overpowering. We kept the windows open for ventilation.

The Location, The Staff, The Multiple Pools.... Everything about this hotel was amazing! I will not be surprised if I book another stay with them. It was almost like it was home for me!

There was an issue with the refrigerator in my room specifically. Nothing was frozen in the freezer and the actual refrigerator didn't function properly. However, I didn't notice this until towards the end of my stay, so I won't hold it against them.

I didn't get a chance to do to any Breakfast. Had to get to the dive boat earlier. it was a very quiet night of sleep, Thank you. Safe, Parking was safe, secure . I like the key for the room access . a wrist band that you wear to easily open the. room door. Plenty of towels and bathroom was clean. nice place to stay for a week or more and use the entire kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator and toaster too. tv has everything too.easy walking to restaurants. Very nice Beach front access. There also an out door shower to wash off the sand. huge nice clean bbq gas grills outside too. next time be sure to get the rooms high up and facing the Atlantic Ocean !!!

Needs a light switch at door entry to turn on and off lights. No electrical outlets close by bed? Next time i will bring an extension cord,lol. no big deal. all good.
