Ocean Inn is a quirky, unique reminder of pre-condo Florida. The floors are terrazzo, the decor is dated, and I've seen several reviewers complain that the place badly needs an update. So if you're looking for a modern, immaculate big box chain hotel, don't go to Ocean Inn. We were greeted by Philip, who was friendly and accommodating. Water was shower hot, linen was clean, bed was comfortable, and a microwave, room-sized refrigerator-freezer, and pots, pans, and dishes enabled meal preparation onsite. The outside garden was lovely and relaxing, and proximity to the beach can't be beat. My only major complaint was the smell of mold in the room. In all fairness, however, I am a local here and almost every old building on Hollywood Beach has a mold problem, so bring your allergy meds.

The mold issue.(see above) is problematic for me, but I am very allergic. Also, this is a problem we did not ourselves encounter, but arriving after hours is a big issue, as people have not been able to have access to their rooms because no one answers the phone after 5 PM. (My son-in-law did experience this). Also, there is a $10/day parking fee that isn't disclosed at the time of booking.

I enjoyed my stay although there was no employees around, checked in a 10 pm which was ok, the key was inside the room but room was unlocked, it was very quiet, had a good night sleep and the rooom was clean, upon checking out wasn't sure how to return the key, no employees in the office and no instructions on checking out but it was a good place to stay

Beautiful older hotel with a intimate courtyard; several little seating areas and a water feature for a calming sound. There are a lot of attention to detail in the room was decorated nicely. In actually had tarot so tile for flooring but there was a nice rug also

It's about 17 miles from Fox car rental. Very quiet area mostly industrial. I slept pretty good. Booking.com didn't send the reservation in time. So had to pay almost the full price. Couple was helpful.

Isolated spot but it's quietness was what I needed.

Clean and cozy and the staff are amazing

Location was great, we had trouble getting confirmation for our reservation. It made it a little nerve racking, but when we arrived at the location at 10:00pm everything was fine our room was ready!

beautiful relaxing spaces. the staff was so friendly and helpful. the location was a very short block from the ocean. we were at the end of the boardwalk which was nice when we wanted a little more quiet

It was clean, comfortable bed and close to the beach. Fll is only a few miles away.
