We loved the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, hammocks, pool area, and especially the bed, linens, and towels. The landscaping work and other improvements were lovely. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This place gives very good value for money and has made the most important improvements first.

Not enough variety of fruit at breakfast, didn't know about charters and tours right from the resort. If possible, we'd like to use the kayaks later in the day. Some of the wood in the porches was questionable. These are small things, and we understand lots of work has been done there recently, and I'm sure the resort is well aware of what they can do within their capital improvements and operations plans, so none of this is a reason to avoid the place.

Great water location

They shouldn’t advertise a beach. They don’t have a beach, in fact people should not be allowed to swim there at all. Also I think in the summer they should extend kayak hours until later, the sun goes down at 8:20 and they stop allowing use of kayaks at 3. The nicest hours to kayak there in July is probably between 5pm at 8 pm.

Loved the shore, waterfront seating. Rooms were clean and ours were spacious. Breakfast was organized.

We only stayed 1 nite. Arrived at check in, could not use kayaks, would have had to get up early, kayak, then shower pack, eat ...rushing to get checked out on time. Could ve been a nice relaxing early evening 5:00 ish. Kayaking.. Breakfast had a lot of carb. varieties, could use a protein. ie:hb eggs.

I could say many things about all the great characteristics such as the location, comfortability, and acomodations, but what really makes the places are the people. Customer service was outstanding and amazing. I would like to mention Anette as the best receptionist that I have never met. Great hospitality and always paying attention and providing an extra mile to cover all our needs. Even she had a beauty gesture on my birthday on behalf of the Palmer's Resort.

The AC was a little loud.

Proximity to fishing. Beautiful setting. Friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff.

The location of cabin was great, annoying motor running tho the first night, all night under 2nd bedroom. We were at the end of resort, so no neighbors. View of sunrises were awesome. Mid point in the keys so easy to go sight seeing either direction

Booking.com uses a stock response. I booked a 2 bath/2 bed and email showed that. Get to site and only 1 bath for 4 adults. I suggest you contact Palmers after booking to verify your room. I complained and got a he said/ she said scenario and was offered $40 for a $1400 reservation

The resort is set in paradise, it’s relaxed and quiet on a quiet island. The view from the room balcony is as beautiful. We had everything we needed including a kitchen. The staff go above and beyond and treated us like family. We would definitely return to this hotel. It’s close enough to all the busy places but far away enough to not hear it. The pool was great and so we’re the beach rentals like the paddleboards. Breakfast was simple but perfect. The beach is small but exactly what we needed with beach loungers, chairs and hammocks. We even borrowed board games when it was raining and umbrellas.

The aircon machine was a bit loud when sleeping. Slightly dated but adds to the charm.

This place is as beautiful as you could dream of. White sand , palm trees , blue ocean, a serene place . Due to misunderstanding on our side, we had canceled and rebooked a room, causing some issues on the guest list. Instead of causing inconvenience, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The entire staff was super kind and welcoming. They are really good at taking care of their guests and making them feel extra special.The cottage was well kept; considering it was old construction, the view was heavenly, and the staff responded very well to customer accommodations. If anybody decides to visit Key West, staying at Parmer's is the way to go. We definitely know we will consider Parmer's as the top pick if ever to visit Key West again. Thank you!

• The beach was not clean, with dirty water and a strange white foam, which prevented us from going into the water.

This is a unique property--if luxury is what you're looking for, this isn't it. If you are looking for a beautiful spot on the water with clean and comfortable accommodations, you're in luck. As a former fishing club, the buildings are low key--not fancy, but clean and comfortable--including the beds. We stayed in two different units, and both had full kitchens with everything we'd need to cook meals. There's a beautiful breakfast room and pool area. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for rent. At times we felt like the only ones here. The staff is especially friendly and kind. Yoga and water aerobics classes are offered throughout the week.
