The cabin was lovely and quiet. We were able to park right beside the cabin which was great. The kitchenette was good and allowed us to make our own breakfast and keep our drinks cold. The bedroom and bathroom were well appointed. The location was close to a lovely beach and other attractions that we went to. There were also good restaurants nearby.

I received too many texts from Tropical Cottages and since we were travelling I could not keep up with them. They seems to be renovating and the staff seemed focused on that. We saw the food truck at the front when we arrived and people were eating and drinking at the bar, however when we checked out at 11 AM, we thought the food truck would be opening and we could get a quick lunch before heading out. It was closed up tight with no indication when it or the bar would open. We waited for at least 20 mins and then we asked the staff but they did not have an answer. They offered to call but that did not make sense because we did not know how long it would take someone to arrive and open so we left and found somewhere else to eat. It was too bad.

It was cozy. It was pretty clean.

The one thing I dislike the most is someone else’s hair in a hotel bathroom. Well that was the only thing that I thought could have been cleaner. The person who rented cottage 14 was in and out Friday night slamming the doors every time. Let clients know that they should not behave this way before allowed in. The one time that door slammed when I let it go on the first day was the last time I let it slam. Other than those very small issues it was nice and I would stay again when it’s a little cheaper.

Right in the water! Cute beach decor. Good towels and kitchen amenities. Easy parking.

The place could use completion of the updating. A few real hangers would be nice. The bathroom had no towels rods. The fan, with light, near the kitchen area had an un repaired chain pull for the light. It had to be a known problem. The broken pull was tucked in a drawer. The TV remote would not turn off the TV! So strange. We actually had to unplug the TV every time to turn it off. All said, however, we were in the “don’t worry be happy” mode. Minor problems didn’t cause any negative effects. The listing, through Booking.com, advertised free use of kayaks. Yep, kayaks were available, but we were not allowed to use them. This lack of delivery of offering needs to be updated on the listing website.

We liked that we were right on the water and fished off our own deck with a fishing license. Very quiet street

we did not have a key, we had a door code and after the first night the door stopped locking. we were also told because we booked through a 3rd party we ended up in an apartment in a house. not a cottage, it was off the main property. Nice place and we enjoyed it. But it would have been nice to be right at the tiki bar so we didn't have to drive to the bar.

The beautiful charming cottages that represent the Keys as they used to be and as we like them. No concrete, only wood! What more do you need! There is beautiful vegetation and there are romantic paths under the palm trees and a nice Tikki bar where you can have a drink and a food wagon with Mexican food on the premises. The owners are very nice and interesting to talk you. They help you with whatever question you have

For us the price is very steep but we suppose that’s Keys’ prices!

Very cute cottage, comfortable bed, 2 chairs and even a small kitchen. Bathroom is outside, which we really liked that we could shower under the stars. Everything was clean. Easy self check in. There is a very delicious taco foodtruck only a few foot away, we can really recommend this place. If you plan on visiting key west for a day, then the location is great and way more affordable compared to places in key west, though it is still expensive.

Not all the cottages are completely private, ours shared a wall with a really loud snoring neighbor.

The place was so cute and bright. Lots of sunlight and the kitchenette was handy. The water pressure was good. The bed was big and comfy. There was enough space for our portacot or pack n play. The room was big enough for me to put down a big picnic mat so my baby could play. I like the outdoor area in the front and side but unfortunately we only stayed one night so we didn't spend much time out there. Also the taco truck out the front has excellent food. Everything we ate was so delicious

There was a coconut tree right out the front of our room. While I was out the front, a coconut fell from the tree. It made me nervous that it could have fallen on our heads.

Loved so much about this place. Was a little skeptical at first being 64 traveling alone. But it was great, no problems like the other reviews I've read! The property it's self is beautiful. The cottages are so cute and colorful. Just reminds me of the old Florida style homes. But smaller, not a drinker but tiki bar looked like everyone was having good time! They have taco truck but did not try. Parked right beside my cottage which was nice. All in all was a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful place. And I will be back! Oh to add, my daughter wanted me to bring home the white 🐈 cat. Posted a picture cause he/she visited everyday. Loved that furbaby, hope he/she got the food I left for them.

Only (2) things to add: No pool 😢 Shower head in #7 needs replaced.

The place was very charming and the parking right next to it was ideal. For our one night stay the space was adequate. We had an issue with the tv but the housekeeper responded quickly and efficiently.

The bathroom was very tight. It could have used another towel bar and a stopper in the sink. One bedroom light was very hard to turn on or off.
