Our stay on this Florida Keys houseboat was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the unique charm of living on the water. It was such a refreshing change from typical accommodations during our journey in US, and we loved being surrounded by the beauty of nature. The houseboat itself was a true sanctuary. We a day relaxing on the deck, taking in the stunning views of the tranquil bay. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a good book, sip on a refreshing drink, and simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of the houseboat and especially the pool area. It was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining a pristine environment, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. One of the highlights of our stay was watching the breathtaking sunsets from the nearby beach. Overall, our houseboat stay in Marathon was an unforgettable adventure. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and memorable vacation. It's the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Florida Keys while enjoying the comforts of home.

There might have been a few small issues, but they were far outweighed by all the other great things

We loved our Aqua Lodge and the great property. Great pool and the point for sunsets was awesome. The location was close to many things…Publix and Sombrero Beach! Had a great dinner at Steak and Lobster house. Our awesome neighbors rented a boat at Coconut Cay Marina and we loved going under Seven Mile Bridge. Had some food and drinks at Sunset Grill in Marathon. Jim works at Coconut Cay and was very helpful! The free kayaks were fun to do as we floated past our neighbors on the Aqua Lodges. Would recommend to all our friends for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Aqua Lodge ! Each morning we had coffee looking out over the water on the inlet. When we went to the beach we were farther from the water than we were at our Aqua Lodge !! We loved walking down to the point and seeing the sunset. It was the best sunset view ! The staff was helpful, the pool was great and the place was very neat, a Clean and quiet. We will stay again!! I love the water. Sleeping on the water was wonderful. Very unique experience. The small kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals in. The bed was very comfy and we felt very safe. Just an absolutely great place !!

The Aqua Lodges have a well-equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator, and we ate out on the patio over-looking the water. The pool was clean and had great seating and a sunshade over half the pool. We loved the sunsets from Sunset Point which is on property, a short walk from the aqua lodges. We used their free bikes and rode 4 miles to 7 mile bridge several times during our weeklong stay. We also rode to the grocery store and Dollar Tree. We also used the free kayaks which have everything you need...paddles and life jackets. We paddled to the gulf and watched the sunset where we also saw manatees around us. This was a working vacation, so we worked some during the day and the wi-fi worked perfect. Often went for a morning swim before work and at lunch.

Loved our stay here. Everything was absolutely perfect! So clean and had everything we need. Very tastefully decorated and equipped for the best time ever. Loved sitting on the porch area for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Wanting to go back already. We had so much fun! We used the grills one night. They were very nice and clean. Pool area was clean and had very nice chairs.

We brought a box fan with us for airflow and noise when we slept. Due to the location close to the airport and street, it may be helpful for guests to have a box fan and or sound machine in all the units. I am not sure if there was road noise at night or if planes fly in and out at night, but that may be something I would recommend if I had to pick something. Being that close to the airport may bother some but it wasn't a problem for us. The only other comment I can come up with that is out of the control of this place was that I wished there were bar/restaurants in walking distance. That would have taken this place from a 10/10 to a 12/10. Again, this is only if I have to come with something. Everything else was perfect!!

Honestly, this place offered everything that I wanted to do; kayak, bike, relax…. I could of hung around the property for my entire stay & not have left (except for food).

For me, it couldn’t have been any better. It was clean, comfortable, friendly & accommodating staff. Maybe if the manatee wouldn’t have avoided me! Although they presented themselves to others.

The pool was close to the aqua lodges. The larger two rooms were great. We loved the free kayaks and we're able to enjoy those without having to go anywhere else. We have luxury of making coffee in morning, cooking our own meals if desires. Poolside propane grill. Staff were nice, great location. The area was fun, yet quiet. Cost was less than getting a room at a hotel with no kitchen. Truly was a floating suite. The main bedroom. Was quite large.

The loft on top with ladder always stayed hot. Stairs were scary to go up. Luckily beds were both big enough for two adults so it wasn't that big of a deal. We didn't have the option to remove extra used towels from room, unless I was unaware housekeeping could pick up. The sand mites were very bad in beach/lodge tiki area. Not sure if any bug control would have helped, I got bit about 100 times in 10 minutes. Such is life in the keys. Next time I'll be more prepared. Would definitely return with husband next time.

Location was great. The amenities with the free kayaks, paddle boards and bikes were great. Great opportunity to rent a pontoon or fishing boat and take out straight from the resort. The rooms had everything you needed for cooking even a hand mixer I was super impressed. They had grills available for your use as well. I really liked the fact when you checked out they removed all of the bedding including comforter and pillow shams. Every guest got a clean comforter which I don’t think I have never seen other places actually remove the comforter and replace with a clean one. The camp host Dave was so incredibly nice. He made us all feel right at home. We were a group of 15. Everyone loved it. I would definitely go back and stay again

Everything

Excellent location in the heart of Marathon in a quiet lake area. We appreciated the wonderful covered furnished patio right on the water. All units are equal. Well stuffed lodge with all you need. The kitchen provides nice dishes, pots, knifes and silverware. You can exchange used towels daily at the office. The staff is very nice and helpful. We took advantage of the free bikes and kayaks. The sunsets at the beautifully maintained beach area are spectacular.

I love pets but don’t want to see dogs swimming in the pool (although a sign prohibits pets in the pool area) and taken back to the lodge soaked wet. Unfortunately, some people are very disrespectful to others property. The issue was addressed to the office and the excellent staff took care of it.

We loved EVERYTHING about this place! Super cute, super clean, bed was super comfortable. It was quiet, ac worked great in bedroom & out in the living room. Plenty of towels, toilet paper & kitchen utensils & pans available. Beautiful views & so nice to get to set outside & see boats, sunshine & we got to see a manatee go under the boat. The amenities are great! We loved getting to use the bikes, kayaks, the pool & a beautiful place to watch the sunset at the end of the beach. We rented a boat for the day from this property. Jim the maintenance manager was so nice & helpful & the 4 boats they have are in mint condition & the convenience of renting right outside where you’re staying was great. The staff, front desk manager was so nice and friendly & easy check in and fast responses. Wish we would have stayed longer.
