We had rooms 205 and 206 so we were off the road. Pool was nice and the have stand up paddle boards and kayaks to use. They had pool towels and life jackets too. Girls at desk were nice, we got in super late so they left our keys taped to the window.

It said free breakfast but there is none. They did have coffee makers in each room and one in the office. And there were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby that we didn’t miss it. Curtains didn’t match. No big deal. Room could use a makeover but it was clean.

Great location and classic style offering some nice extras in bikes and kayaks to launch from the on-site Canal. BBQ grills right outside our unit for cooking up our own eats. Great for balance of budget and fun!

Older rooms had loose doorknobs and leaky A/C units (A/C was still nice and cold). Weak toilette flush. If you can look past the aging aesthetic, there is a classic charm.

Lovely resort. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The bathroom was small but functional and was spotlessly. The pool was lovely, spotless, deep and was very well kept. There is chairs and beds to relax on. Out the back of the resort there is access to the waterways and it seems you can bring your own boat there. I would recommend this resort.

The accommodation is expensive which is typical of all resorts along the Forida Keys. The Coconut Cay resort appears to be good value for money when compared to other accommodation in the area. Another thing along the Keys to note is Accommodation is mostly along the Highway. This means easy access but road noise can be an issue.

Great location, very central.

I am not happy with the dog policy. Extremely expensive to take your pet and had so many restrictions in which a so called service animal was in the room next to us that would not stop barking. A true service animal does not bark because they are trained to be around public and not distracted. Will not stay in the room we were assigned again which is 511 it was right in the canal but at the end of the property where you hear all of the traffic. Plus contraction was also going on in the building right next door.

We arrived much later than we anticipated and the staff sent me a text message letting me know how and where to pick up my room key, which made our arrival very easy. The room was very quiet (especially being on the top floor and next to a small airfield), provided blackout curtains and the beds were firm and impossibly comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and a fantastic value, and the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous, and catered to our every need. Definitely going to be staying here on future trips to Marathon Key!

The location of this property is amazing. To be able to borrow kayaks and get in the canal and go for a ride is a wonderful amenity. We also rode our bikes to sombrero beach. Bikes were in good condition and we were provided a lock. We also enjoyed the chairs outside of our room and ate our meals out on our porch. Having a microwave and refrigerator, as well as coffee maker made it very apartment like. We will definitely be back!

Honestly, nothing! We did have a room in building that was near the canal, and I imagine that having a room near the road would be louder, but we were very happy with our accommodations

Love that we could book last minute. Staff super nice and friendly . Booked first night then went to key west forgot license there and was able to get my room for the second night and run back to get my license and book last min for a room. Upgraded my room helped out figure things . The staff here has been the best I've incountered in our week in the keys so far . Great location. Love the pool .

Great location and love the rental options included with the room. Quiet stay. Super friendly staff. Clean rooms (and I am quite particular; I check bed sheets, shower walls and doors and such).

A few suggestions: 1- make it known clearly you are under construction. I understand the construction. To make it better and have no problems, but if I had known, I would have brought a different vehicle. 2- have a hose available for guests to use to clean the kayaks after use. They were all covered with the fallen debris from trees. Understandable, but again a quick wash down is easy. 3- put another mirror up in the room and not just the one in the bathroom. This way when someone is tying up the bathroom but the other person needs a mirror it is accessible.

The location was great. It's right off highway 1. However, the airport is right next door. There was quite a lot of flights during our stay but they have soundproofing in some of the rooms. The rooms are nicely updated. Comfortable bed and great TV to unwind. The bathroom vanity was real small but I just got ready in the room. Outside we had two chairs to sit in. We saw wild chickens and iguanas! Do bring bug spray!! I still have bites on my legs! The canal was nice but unfortunately, the kayaks have been used a lot and the seats are bent and uncomfortable.

Everything was great! Sam at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Pre-packaged ice in the lobby was perfect for our cocktails and to ice my knee after the 7 Mile Bridge run. Room was clean! Pool was a nice place to chill outside for a bit. Nice Adirondack chairs on our porch. Close to everything we needed.

I don’t like this question but if I had to mention one thing is we had a couple of bath towels that could have also substituted for a loofah they were so scratchy.
