More activities than most keys resorts. (Tennis, ping pong, volley ball, etc.) Room with some free loaner equipment. (Rods, coolers, chairs, bait bucket, etc). Great for families. Balconies. Roomy (suite). Decent restaurant. Great bar staff. Laid back. Good location. (Boot Key harbor. Center of town). Only stated continental breakfast, but included fresh cooked eggs and bacon. No frills, but quite satisfactory. Had a real coffee maker in room. (Not pods). Best price anywhere in Florida for waterproof phone cases. Plenty of free parking. Manatees live in the harbor and where viewed several times.

Not a fan of wrist bands. I refuse to wear them under any circumstances. Probably fine for most people and kids. Balconies over look parking lot while room entrance overlooks canal. Would be better the other way around. But, many Marathon resorts have no water access or view at all. Excessive pricing for boat slips/dock space. We rented a boat but it was way too expensive to keep the boat at the resort when free to keep at the rental marina. ($114/night)

Our stay at Skipjack Resort exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic, and our room was absolutely wonderful. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was truly a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely return!

A few updates that could make the experience even better some of the resort amenities, like the umbrellas around the pool and beach gear, could use a refresh, and the loaner beach chairs could definitely be upgraded. Also, updating the waffle maker at the complimentary breakfast would be a nice touch.

Live music most nights by the pool, can bike to nice beach or just a quick drive, you can rent kayaks inexpensively and they'll take them right to the beach for you, nice pool, breakfast included, separate living and bedroom, nice pickleball court. Publix is down the street. Good rates for the area. We will go back.

I thought kitchenette meant you could cook- no cook top, just microwave. They do have grills. Bikes are free but often don't work correctly and old. Expensive drinks by the pool.

The rooms have been upgraded and have a big comfy bed and shower with bench and plenty of ac. Docks were very convenient with your boat steps away from room and Dawn the dock master was very helpful and accommodating. We even had a manatee visit the boat for extended periods.

Dated pool area bathrooms, gym and free breakfast was not buffet style with restaurant rationing out the limited menu items. Also hotel hords the ice machine behind the front desk and rations out ice.

A lot of facilities : the pool area is nice and big, you even have a bar. The fitness is tiny but you have enough to workout a little bit. You can use bikes for free to stroll around Marathon. The room was soooo spacious ! It had everything we needed. The view over the marina is very charming.

The breakfast was nice but could use a bit more of fruits and choices of cereals and bread. The bathroom is a bit old fashion compared to the rest of the room.

Our Apartaments didn’t have any stove, and kettle makes kitchen useless Fridge and other bits were still dirty Stayed for 6 nights and proper cleaning was done just once, other days just bins and towels We have requested quite room, but every morning 6:30 bin collection was taking place ( not weekends ) From Monday construction site just opposite , making very loud noises , start time 6:45

All of the options for things to do. Bikes, beach volleyball, tennis, pickle ball. Near the beach. They had beach chairs and umbrella and toys for us to take with us to the beach. Pool was great, loved all the nightly activities at the pool. Adults and kids loved the pool. Pool was clean. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Glad we and our adult kids could have adjoining rooms. Tiki bar was big hit, food was good, stay included breakfast which was good. I liked that I did not have to bring beach and pool towels with me from Ohio. Close to activities and restaurants. Staff were fun and friendly. Nice work out area.

The property was fine. It could be spruced up with new paint and more plants and flowers. Looked a little run down when we first got there, but once we were there we enjoyed ourselves very much and did not notice it . The fact that they are remodeling individual guest houses shows that they are working to improve the resort and I am excited to see what all they do. Wish we could have exchanged pool towels during our stay, that would have been nice. Would have been nice to have a better quality beach towels.

Very nice hotel in good location close to water in Marathon. Excellent pool and bar. Breakfast included. Rooms well equipped and clean. Reception staff and bar staff very helpful and friendly. We extended our stay as we enjoyed so much. Marathon has so much to offer when you get off US1

Had to go to reception every time you needed ice as no ice machines . A few more umbrellas around pool needed for extra shade, but these are minor points

Our room was good. We had a living room, small kitchenette, king size bed and a balcony. Breakfast was just okay. Pool area was good plenty of lounge chairs. So nice to be able to use the bikes & beach chairs they had there. Also, the Tiki bar was great. The bar tender, Jason was so nice and literally gave me the shirt on his back.

They could have had more of a variety of sizes of the T-shirts in the gift shop

Staff was super friendly, location was great, the entertainment was great.

When we first got there we were surprised the golf course from the pictures was completely gone and it is just a huge gravel pit/construction site. One the otherside of our view, they were building or remodeling duplexes, so it was construction from every window. The wind blowing through the outside stairway created a very loud noise. It sounded like a loud machine running , but with like the view, not something within the resorts ability to fix.
