I liked the location and facilities as I had stayed at the hotel before, but this particular room was managed privately so I would not stay at a private oasis managed room again as I don't know what quality I would get. Bed was comfortable.

The first insult was the old worn piece of sponge for use in the kitchen.!! Really?? there are 99c pks of sponge with 10 in the pack.....giving a new sponge for a guests stay is an inexpensive welcome. There was a musty smell on entering the apt but I took care of that with air freshener spray. I didn't go into the main bathroom when I first got in, not until later the night when I returned to see all the chipped tiles on the bathroom floor!! Had I seen it initially I would have asked to change the room instead of tripping over the uneven floor!! Also there needs to be more control of people in the hot tub as sometimes you had to wait 1/2 hr for a dip.

Location was excellent at the vibey Coconut Grove - one of the must visit areas of Miami. Hotel and apartment were exquisite and very nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. All facilities were provided. Hotel is well kept and parking was good. Pool, gym and other facilities were also great. Great views of the bay from the apartment. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Kitchen utensils were basic - suitable for basic meal heating and preparation. Kicthen was well equipped in terms of equipment but utensils were basi for more elaborate preparation of meals - no grater, bowls, colander etc. Response from host was delayed for 3 days for extra set of towels requested on both booking.com messaging and whatsapp. Check in was a little bumpy - was asked during booking to pay at checkin. When I arrived at the hotel, they would not provide keys until I paid. There was no facility to pay at the hotel. I had to call the host and they then sent me an online link to make payment at that time. Then I had to go back down to hotel reception to get the keys.

The owners were great and generally very responsive- but apparently they couldn't get the bathroom fan fixed during our stay. See below.

The bathroom fan did not work, so the entire area steamed up when someone took a shower. An even bigger annoyance for us was that the only mirrors in the room are in the bathroom, which makes it harder than it needs to be for three of us to get ready each time we go out. Also, the freezer compartment of the refrigerator needs defrosting. It dripped all over our food, making our groceries soggy. Also, we needed more coffee pods for morning coffee. We would have been happy to purchase them but we couldn't find pods in the supermarket to fit the machine. We told the owner who had a few delivered but they did not bring the full 4 pods per day that we needed. I would definitely go back but these few things would make the difference between a pretty good stay and a perfect stay.

Ac was super loud but as we did not need to use it was fine.

Lift system horrible ( wait time up to 15 min to get an elevator on the floor !)very few parking spaces for renters, huge confusion between hotel and rbnb!!appartement 1706 had a big gap under the door . We had to use towels for light and noise from hallway .

Close to shopping, restaurants, and within walking distance. Short distance from downtown and Miami Beach.

Getting in and out of the hotel. Tight space and not enough space at front to get in and out. Finding a parking space can be a challenge as you are limited to 4th, 5th, and 6th floor only and only spaces that are not reserved. Weekday parking is not too bad. The balcony area is dirty and old looking. It can use a good cleaning to get rid of the mold.

Nice rooms and great location. Beds were confortable. Check-in went smooth and parking was easy.

Only one elevator working so the waiting times can be very long. Cleaning could be better especially il the bathroom. Lot of hairs left. Carpet smells dusty.

Private Oasis just may be the most perfect hotel I’ve stayed at in a decade. It’s in the middle of Coconut Grove, a beautiful neighborhood in Miami surrounded by parks and palms and restaurants with the bay a short walk away. Our room was large with ample room for 3. I can’t say enough good about the friendly lady who checked us in. There’s no question, we would stay here on every future trip to Miami.

Parking garage is a little bendy but it’s free!

Good property, comfortable, close to the city center. Parking is good, on floors 2 to 6, it was pretty easy to find parking. Good comfy bed. Host was nice and checked with us a lot to make sure we are ok, that was kind.

Old fridge rattles the glasses and makes a bit of noise. Apartment on top has no carpet, can hear people walking above us. Dont remember the cleaning and resort fees being mentioned 140 is more like 200 per night, but that's still fine.

The room and the view was very pretty. We were really pleased with our stay. The staff around the hotel/condo were so nice and friendly. The room was just has pictured if not better, the pool was clean with a nice view of the city. We will for sure be staying again.

The front desk staff was not nice or welcoming. The rest of the staff members were pleasant but every person we talked with at the front desk did not want to be bothered.
