Hands down one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in a long time, not just Miami. Upon coming into the doors at Smart Brickell it was a total shock for me and my group of friends, given the affordable price as well as seeing some of the reviews on other sites. The lobby was cooled, clean, well decorated, and smelled amazing. I looked forward to coming home to the lobby every night. We were welcomed by the nicest receptionist, who helped up with early check in ($55 extra) and gave us food coupons for their café outside (the café has drink specials and is also super cute!). She gave us one of the brand new units on their condo side, fully equipped with everything we might need for the trip—down to a cheese grater. The condo style was perfect for my group of girl friends, though I’m curious what the stay was like for those on the hotel side as they had a different elevator. Our room had a large kitchen, living area with pull out bed, terrace, bedroom, closet, washer/dryer, and we enjoyed the hotel pool and the gym as well. Location wise, I don’t think you could get anywhere better than staying in this area. Anything we might not have, could be purchased at the 24hr CVS about two blocks away from the hotel and there are fast food places for really late night eats right next door. There are also delicious cafés and breakfast places nearby as Brickell and Downtown Miami are a short walk and/or car ride away from the hotel. My friends and I greatly enjoyed our trip and if we could do it again, we’d pick Smart Brickell every time.

I wished that the pool was open longer so we could enjoy night swims after spending the day in the city or at the beach. Pool towels, are also a little difficult to get a hold of but otherwise the staff were so lovely and helpful when asked. We did not get to spend time in their spa but they did offer some brochures to us. I think because it’s a newly built hotel there are still a lot of things (ex. lounge, terrace, pool bar, etc.) that are not available yet but I’m excited to see what ends up happening!!

The location was wonderful and the fact that there is an affordable valet parking option is great. The building is new and therefore clean and tidy. Breakfast was fair and was included in the room stay.

the kitchen didn't have any silverware. Toiletries were of a great brand; however, only small bottles of conditioner, shampoo and lotion were provided and did not include shower gel. We had to buy these separately.

The staff were amazing and friendly. This hotel in Brickell is walking distance to amazing great high-end neighbourhood, yet the cost is good value. We were upgraded to a nicer room with a great view. Breakfast at the cafe was included; it was a fantastic breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Good Afternoon, we want to express our feelings on our experience at our Smart Brickell Hotel stay. First, the front office staff was courteous and hospitable. Also, the email updates and notifications were helpful as well; more importantly, our room was clean and comfortable. Our sole issue was the room that we thought we were paying for is not the room we received. The pictures and the descriptions lead us to believe that we were staying at a Queen Suite with 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen; however, we were in a Queen with one bath and a kitchenette (no stove). Wonderful, nice, new, very well located. Our room had a huge terrace and was located on the 18th floor so the view, although not waterfront, was impressive. Highly recommend it.

It didn't include breakfast as announced. Instead, they offered a discount for just one day in a coffee shop next door which was really good. The discount was not much because it didn't apply to all items in the breakfast.

Everything. The staff was friendly, the apartment was very clean (cleaned every day), spacious and comfortable. Nice pool at the 8th floor with warm water (the best part of our stay for my 5yo son). Great location within a walking distance from Bayfront Park and the train station. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area. I read some negative comments on the Internet before the trip and now I can surely say there is nothing to be worried about. We paid the deposit in cash and got it back right after checkout.

We chose this hotel to spend the night before our cruise and it was excellent. The location was perfect and we were given exactly the room we booked.

The staff was incredible. They helped me everytime I asked.

I didn't like the time restriction on the breakfast because everything we pre-made, so it's not like they had to make anything and it would be inconvenient. Also, I think the spa was out of order (or something) so I couldn't take advantage of the spa/massage specials that were promoted. I wish I could've gotten a coupon or something to a local spa.

Great location with safe walking distance to shopping (Brickell City Center is very cool), grocery (Publix)and dining (so many to choose from on Brickell St and Miami Blvd and in City Center); walking distance to the different stops/routes of the free City Trolley to places like Little Havana, Wynwood, Desig District, Coconut Grove, etc. The 2 outdoor pools (one seened heated) and the gym were great. The fresh towels provided for each were awesone. The hotel was new, very tastefully decorated and the staff were great.

Would have liked a TV in the very nice sitting/couch area of the suite so we would have used that space. The hookup and space was there, so why no TV? Cable for the TV that was in the bedroom would have been nice. A wireless speaker in the suite would have been great. Toilet paper was very thin. Parking is not easy nor inexpensive anywhere so opted for the hotel valet parking that is at an extra cost.

Reasonable price. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included in the price was really nice (croissant with egg and Swiss) with excellent coffee and orange juice. Sad to see trip advisors negative reviews which fortunately we ignored and found the exact opposite. Why moan about clean white walls when you’ve come to visit a new place?! Go out to view artwork!
