Location was great - easy access to beach and boardwalk. The two pools were great - one more suitable for families and the other for swimmers. The decor and amazing photographs were a treat. Food was excellent. We were especially pleased by the helpful service of Zeltzin, Fritz and Chris in the lobby check-in, and Junior Phillips did us a big favor when we had trouble getting room service - taking it upon himself to order and deliver our late-night food. Daily cleaning service was very good. Pianists in lobby at night were delightful - one took requests!

Two minor inconveniences - our room phone didn't work properly and we couldn't lock the door to our balcony.

The hotel is beautiful and set on the prestigious South Beach. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The Carlton Cafe was great but we never managed the main restaurant. The lobby bar was good too.

Personally as a European, the prices of alcohol and food in Miami Beach were extortionate for basically average food. It left a bad feeling, especially when you are paying 5 times the price for an average beer. The mandatory 20% service charge on everything was beyond the pale and the excuse of “well that’s Miami” isn’t good enough. I would suggest that the city is acting as a cabal with this kind of behaviour. I am in Tampa at this moment, so it’s not the same everywhere. In the long run this will put off tourists

The Betsy is a super cute little hotel at the end of South Beach. We were traveling in October so we did not get to enjoy many of the amenities the hotel had to offer due to weather. Our room was lovely and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. It seems like the perfect location for a girls trip or couples get away! We enjoyed our room service as well!

The hotel was not clear and the pool was closed which was one of the reasons we chose the Betsy so that was disappointing but hopefully will be back open soon! It is a wonderful area that would be nice to walk around, I was unaware of the traffic in Miami so things take a bit longer to get to and it is somewhat difficult for a Uber to find the hotel but not necessarily a negative.

This was my second time staying at the Betsy. The first time was with a friend and the second time was with my family. I loved it both times. I love how close it is to the beach and the rooftop pool. One evening we had dinner at the restaurant and sat outside. The food was delicious and the ambience and people watching was excellent. Will definitely return in the future.

The only part of this trip that wasn’t the best was when we opened the door to our two queen bedroom one of the beds was right by the door and almost hitting the door. This room was probably not intended for two queen beds, but maybe for one king? That was really my only complaint. For this price I would’ve wished that we had a little bit more room around the two beds

One word Perfect

Absolutely nothing. The Betsy is a wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it.

The property is at the end of South Beach, great location and very much quiet. Roof bar and pool, was cool, only busy on Saturday afternoon, beach area was great. Gym was small but had everything I needed to work out. Strongest like is the Staff. FOH Went above and beyond, FOH (female, dark hair, Latino) was a star, helped me and my wife Changing rooms, went from a classic king to Royal Ocean suite. As all the rooms we looked at where n need of repair.

Our first room wasn’t great various damage to room, but this was quickly resolved. Late checkin in comparison, 4pm, but to add to the pain we arrived at hotel at 9am and no early checkin available. Early check out as well, standard is 11am again not the norm.

I want to thank Joanny, Fritz, Paul, Sidd, Nath, and the entire Betsy Hotel team for a magnificent stay. I spent 5 days and 4 nights at The Betsy on a solo rejuvenation trip. From the moment I checked in until I left, everyone was so kind and accommodating. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of champagne and allowed to check in a bit earlier than the usual check-in time. I spent most of my time at the beach, enjoying the chair and towel service that came with my stay. When I wasn’t at the beach, I dined at their restaurant, which had plenty of delicious gluten free options for me. I plan to be a regular visitor here. It was just what I needed.

I would have liked for the rooftop pool to be open longer.

The Betsy was located in a fun area of Miami Beach and directly across the street from the beach. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly. We enjoyed that the hotel offered beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas (!) at the beach at no additional cost. We also ate lunch at the restaurant after we checked out and the food was tasty and our server was super nice!

The drainage in the shower was temperamental - sometimes it was fine and more often it pooled. Not something that bothered us to a great extent but it required paying attention to avoid flooding the bathroom.

Fantastic boutique hotel across from the beach! The staff were exceptional and dealt immediately with any concerns/requests me or any member of my family had during our stay. What a team they put together here. The gym was excellent. The live piano in the lobby was so great to finish off a day with, and the lobby was always inviting and a happy place. I also loved the fresh complimentary coffee at the bar in the morning after my workouts. Great location, great team, we will be back!
