We stayed at Staybridge Suites Orlando South by IHG during the last week of June 2025 with our family of three, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Pros: Value for Money: The property offers excellent value considering the amenities provided. Spacious Rooms: The rooms are large and well-equipped with an in-suite refrigerator, kitchen, utensils, cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, and even double televisions, making it ideal for families or extended stays. Courteous & Helpful Staff: Every staff member we interacted with was polite and eager to help, which made our stay comfortable.

Cons: Old Property: While clean and functional, the property does show its age and could benefit from some modernization.

It was a beautiful hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! We arrived early so the staff let us use their facilities while we waited for our room to be ready. We took a dip in the Jacuzzi while the kids played basketball! Our room had all the amenities, including a refrigerator with an icemaker, full set of dishes! The staff gave me menus to local places that deliver food and we ate in! The next morning we had to leave before their breakfast time, however they had bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee, and milk that we were able to eat. They have pool towels outside by the pool area along with fresh lemon squeezed ice water that we loved! They sent text messages to let us know when our room would be available and when we could check in! Our room was clean and the beds were comfy and the cable TV was great! I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, anything we needed they had an answer and were ready to help! And when we woke up the next day, they had decorated for Christmas! So festive! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is our second time staying here because we liked it the first time! Having the living area separate from the bedroom is really nice. We also enjoy having the small kitchen. It's convenient to the airport and to many restaurants and shops. There is an airport shuttle; however, we didn't need it this time.

The only thing I can think of is the first time we stayed here, we had two queen beds. This time we booked a king room. The king suite had no door between the bedroom and the bathroom area. I am listing this because for guests needing more privacy, you might want to call and ask if there are any kings with a door and, if not, book a queen instead.

Great check in process from Zuleima. The free nightly food/drink we didn't know about, but this was a nice add on for us (other two rooms didn't arrive with time to experience this). Location is close to airport (about 5 minutes) which was great for our early flight. Breakfast was quite nice in terms of options. Appreciated the continual availability of soft drinks, coffee and tea. Nice food pantry for those needing something. Bed and pillows were decent and it was nice to have a pull out sofa.

Only one elevator; another one would have been nice. Wanted to use the airport shuttle but the frequency (once an hour, on the hour) and limited space (11 people max, and shuttle picks up from multiple hotels) didn't allow it.

Nice 1 bedroom suite. Full size refrigerator. It also had a microwave and stove top (no oven though) with pans, plates, glassware, etc. Free washers & dryers was a definite plus (bought single use box of Tide for $1 at front desk). Stayed for 8 days. Several restaurants within 15 minute walk, but a car is definitely helpful for other errands. Free airport shuttle on the hour was prompt. Breakfast was good: eggs (rotated daily between cheese omelette and scrambled), sausages or bacon, starch offerings rotated between make your own waffles, biscuits with sausage gravy, and hash browns. The older breakfast room attendant was very pleasant and even brought me orange juice when she noticed mine looked a bit watery.

A few minor things: Hot water was very slow to warm up in the morning. Being so close to the airport is great for flights, but you can definitely hear a low rumble as planes takeoff and land. It didn’t wake me up but woke up my wife who’s a light sleeper. The bathroom door hinges were loose and thus hard to close (could easily be fixed with a Phillip screwdriver), but just had to lift it up a little to shut it. One washer on far right had mold in it, but there were 3 others available.

Room was good. Clean and comfortable. The layout of the room was very good and it was nice having the two separate bathrooms. Breakfast was really good and there was quite a variety to choose from.

We were told the airport shuttle left every hour on the hour. We rushed through breakfast (started at 6:30) because we needed to catch the shuttle at 7:00. The shuttle driver was still not there at 7:20 so we had to take an Uber (that the location did pay for) but it put us almost 30 minutes behind schedule.

The rooms are big and comfortable with great amenities. I got a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Slept like a baby in a clean huge bed. It also included a good breakfast with variety. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I had overall a great experience. Next time I visit Orlando I will stay here again:)

I liked everything. Parking was included and hotel is only 3 stories so you get a homey feeling.

The biggest issue with this suite is there is no privacy. You can not close off the bedroom. So when someone is in the kitchen or on the couch the people in the bedroom can hear and light is in their eyes. As well as when someone is at the bathroom vanity the light shines right on the bed. So if you have a family trying to put little ones to sleep it’s impossible. Not suitable for a family.

Room clean and spacious. breakfast room size (huge). outside surroundings. able to eat outside near swimming pool. weather was uhm PERFECT. greenery everywhere.

breakfast: had to use paper plates/cups/utensils as glass and metal was unavailable. Not enough selection, just scrambled eggs, turkey bacon yogurt and cupcakes. Also would have approved of coffee pot and grounds in our room

The staff was amazing, caring, thoughtful and helpful. They were very friendly and caring, I will definitely return and recommend others. The location was perfect, the suite was just the right size and the cleanliness amazing loved it. Everything I needed was available. The coffee and breakfast was good. The kids loved the store in the lobby for night time snacks. Thank you all and especially Jordan! You were awesome!! ☺️ My Pom loved it as well.
