Nice to have a bar in the lobby for a glass of wine after a long day at work.

The two elevators which were side by side acted independently. Never saw that before. To maximize your chances of getting an elevator, you had to press the button for each elevator. This resulted in a lot of “ghost” stops when people got on the first elevator that arrived, but the second still stopped at a floor with no one there.

I have to commend the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn, Athens. Of course the hotel was perfect. What wasn't perfect was the unforseen tornado. As the sirens in the area went off, the staff was cool, collected and displayed ultimate professionalism. After the tornado threat came a fire alarm just a few hours later- yet again excellent professionalism. Very impressive 👏 Side note. Breakfast was amazing!!

The only downer was that the weather knocked out the cable, so while in the room we couldn't watch tv. No biggie..

Check in was easy. The parking deck was convenient. The location was perfect. We walked to the Georgia Theater for our show, feeling safe The whole way. There were plenty of restaurants and shops close. And we were right next to campus.

We couldn't find the channel guide on the TV or on any info that we noticed in the room. Not a huge deal.

Location for downtown Athens activities is fantastic. The fact that they have their owning parking deck makes it very convenient.

On the second day, one of the elevators broke down and wasn't fixed before we left. A couple of times, including with our luggage, we took the stairs from the sixth floor waiting then waiting for the elevator.

Breakfast was fine, with several hot and cold choices and extended hours for eating. The location was perfect for walking around downtown with many good restaurants nearby. Also good to have a parking garage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Location was great and it was one of the more affordable hotels. We came in for a concert at the Georgia Theater and we were comfortably able to walk there from the hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows on the bed. They were way too soft.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also very nice. The gym is very high quality. The hotel itself is place in a very good location, close to a lot of restaurants and bars.

I always choose this hotel when I'm in Athens because of the proximity to the UGA campus. And I prefer Hilton properties.

We were in Athens for a big swim meet at UGA. However, we were there the weekend after finals, and the college kids were celebrating hard - up and down the strip. So lots of noise. No sleep Saturday night

Everything dealing with my room was wonderful. Clean room and a cozy stay.

Having the pay $30 a night for parking. I feel as much as you have to lay for the stay that parking should be included in that.

Location is right downtown Athens - walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants etc. Excellent breakfast! Staff was very friendly.
