Definitely a good solid hotel. The people want to support you! You see the hotel had/has a lot of potential, but perhaps time of year ( off season) it didn’t have a lot of energy. Place was convenient and quiet and very affordable.
No real issues given the affordability. One suggestion- If you could pull the curtains closed ( in addition to the shade and that is already there , it would allow the room to stay completely dark in the am when those of us who are sensitive to any light.

The hotel has a very different layout from traditional hotels but that added to the charm of the place. The room is eclectically decorated. However, the best part of the stay was the staff. They were kind and courteous, and there was a lady on the housekeeping staff who continually went out of her way to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She greeted us warmly, stopped what she was doing to help us, by far the best customer experience I've had in a long time. When they made a mistake with our meal voucher they quickly remedied the situation.
Parking can be a little tricky. And the layout of the property is unique so sometimes it can be hard to get parking near your actual room. I don't think I saw elevators so it may not be super accessible.

The stuff is amazing, and the location can’t be better - walkable to everywhere downtown and close to a bus stop (free public transport for all in Athens!). I had a $10 room credit included in my rate and I used it to sample different beers from local breweries ( check out that lobby fridge). The credit itself though was a surprise/ I learned about it only at the check in, not at booking.
The heater/cooler unit in the room was noisy; TV channels are numbered and impossible to navigate until you get a print out from the reception showing which numbers correspond to which channels. Instant coffee in the room has cute packaging but tastes awful.

The beds were very comfortable. Also the location was great. We were at my daughter's dance competition at the Classic Center and could walk everywhere we needed to go (ie. restaurants, convenience stores were within walkable distances).
The only thing I didn't like was how booking.com managed the pricing of our room . The advertised price on the Booking.com website for our room for the date we needed was advertised as $219. Then, when I got the bill from the hotel, I saw that I was charged $60 more plus fees and taxes. When I went to look at the receipt that Booking.com had sent me after I booked the room, I saw I was billed $60 more than the price that was advertised. Very sneaking, underhanded business practice. I am not at all impressed.

Thought that the staff was very friendly and helpful, the coffee shop was very good
Disappointed on the cost of the room, the price gouging during graduation. I don't approve of that at all. I don't think the hotel was worth the cost that I paid. It was a very nice hotel, but not for the price per night. The location was absolutely perfect for everything I needed to do.

I liked the really excellent staff, unique decor, comfortable bed, and location that was walking distance to our concert venue (Ford Akins Arena), food and drinks and the Foundry, and free EV trickle charge.
There ought to be free, high-quality coffee in the lobby, like most other hotels at this price point offer. The coffee set-up in the room is kind of janky, and isn't a good substitute. The nice cafe could still be there for expresso drinks and snacks.

The Graduate was really cute and very committed to the theme. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy, and we appreciated that it was dog friendly. The receptionist on the night of our stay was simply delightful. She was so helpful with giving us directions to the Masters and some delicious recommendations for the Augusta area (as she is an Augusta resident), and told some very interesting stories about the property as well!
A little outside the downtown, but still within 10 mins walking.

The rooms were comfortable. I thought the AC unit was a little loud when it switched on but it's not irritating. The rooms were clean and there were plenty of towels available. The place was really quiet that night.
When I first arrived, there was an odor in the room like the smell of old carpet that's been wet. I went to the store and bought some air freshener and that, along with airing out the room, took care of the odor. That was the only issue I had with the accommodations.

Room was very clean; location was close to the center of Athens; staff (especially Asia) was great! I’d read some of the previous brutal bad reviews and it just wasn’t our experience at all. The property is NOT fancy - you’re essentially at a hipster motel with a lovely lobby and cute, artsy rooms.. Go in with that attitude and all will be well.
Slightly further than I wanted to be from the main Athens drag - not a huge issue.

Last minute reservation due to power outage at home. Booking, check-in, and parking were a breeze. Got upgraded to a room in the historic Hoyt House, which was spectacular; very comfortable, clean, and spacious with beautiful furnishings and artwork (see attached photos). Staff were all wonderful to work with. Food, from both The Foundry & Poindexter Coffee, was superb. Sufficient green space to walk our dog. Felt very safe in the hotel “compound.”
Floor of bedroom could have been slightly cleaner. Wish the restaurant offered delivery or call-in-for-pickup (super minimal annoyance though). Would be nice to be provided with additional blankets and feather-free pillows; to be fair, we didn’t even ask - I’m sure staff would have provided them.
