My husband and I stayed here 15 years ago. I think the hotel was fairly new then. Decided to try it again with our kids for their first trip to Jekyll. It still looks brand new. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. Updates were being made while we were there to things that to us looked fine. The staff was super sweet. I went to get pizza for lunch and was down the hallway. One of the staff members saw me and hit the elevator before I got there, so it was arriving as I got there. It's the little things. Food was also great. It was great to have lunch by the pool one day. Prices were reasonable for a hotel. You can tell this hotel is taken care of. Chlorine levels were checked one afternoon while we were there. It was great to see how things were taken care of. Biggest bonus is our bill ended up being a $100 less than we were originally quoted by a third party. Will definitely be back!!!

The staff were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice and kid friendly, plus a toddler pool and hot tub pool. Private beach access and showers outside pool area The hotel island shuttle was a nice surprise. Great breakfast options, from waffles, sausage, and eggs to fruit, pastries, cereal, and more. The hotel location is in a private setting, nestled in amongst the oak trees. There is plenty of parking space.

The elevator was a little slow, albeit a very minor inconvenience. The rope across the pool seems kind of dangerous in the wrong circumstances.

Renovations appear to be complete and staff is friendly and very helpful. Being away from city center—and as one of the last accommodations on the road—the beach is uncrowded and gave quite a private feel. The fire pit makes an evening outside inviting. We didn’t use the pool but it’s kept clean. Tall primordial forest dune trees shade enough of the outdoor area to keep the afternoon temperature very pleasant. The serve yourself breakfast had much variety and the lemon-poppyseed scones were a treat! Ask for a to go bag if it looks like you’ll miss breakfast :). We had chairs but the offer of chair & umbrella rentals is a nice touch.

We knew there was no beach view yet didn’t realize the beautiful “forest” and height of the dune would block much of the waves sound. And, tho we increased the temp of our room hoping to reduce the time our ac unit ran, it (and all the others) on balconies won over even stormy waves.

The breakfast was good. One morning they ran out of coffee and it took awhile before it was replenished. The balcony off of our room, overlooking the pool was great. The proximity to the beach was excellent with the boardwalk over the dunes and woods easy.

Not knowing there is an entrance fee onto the island. It’s called a parking fee by the state park and since we were parking at the hotel we couldn’t figure out why we had to pay it. Turns out it’s really just an entrance fee into the park and since it’s only $10, no big deal. You do have to pay it everyday if you leave the island. An explanation beforehand would have been helpful.

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great. The hot tub was wonderful, and the walkway to the beach was great.

Elevators were very slow and creaky with out-of-date inspection tags. We were told food would be available at the bar area in the evenings from 5-9, but did not see food available. The swimming pool was full of "stuff" (I know from the trees, but it made it hard to enjoy). The front desk staff were there, but one seemed as if she would rather be anywhere else. The gentleman seemed to always be on the phone.

Breakfast was Really Good the coffee was smooth & Customer service was Awesome. Linda & I Will return.

At first when i arrived at the room you couldn't see the beach. The woods or mangroves Covered the balcony were thick and i wasn't impressed at first. The next day Linda & I walked through the jungle and walked over two or three bridges to get to the beach. At first i thought of the old Jethro Tull song Bungle in the Jungle. The beach opened up in front of us and we had Awesome Day.

The location was great. Loved being able to walk to the beach and play in the pool after. The pool was very kid friendly. My 3 & 4 yr old loves being able to walk and play in it! Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts that we’ve had. Lots of options and something for everyone. The staff was helpful and let us use a mini crib for our baby during our stay. All in all we had a great time and would definitely go back!

The room was a bit musty and warm when we arrived. We also heard dogs go up and down hall at 2am. That was loud for our kids.

The hotel was close to the beach, but with no beach views. We came with two children, a 7 year old and a baby. The hotel was very family friendly. My daughter loved the beach, but my son preferred the pool. We were there for July 4th. We didn't go see the fireworks, but many families did and said you could see them from the beach access. We stayed at the pool while everyone else watched the fireworks. the pool area was fantastic. The beach was not too crowded at all. I was thankful it was away from the main area of hotels on Jekyll Island. That set this hotel apart.

As with most hotels, the ceilings and walls were thin. We were woken up every night at 12:30 by the people above us returning, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. I am sure my baby waking at 3 am every night probably woke someone else up too. That is how hotel stays are.

Loved the shuttle and convenience of not having to drive and hunt parking. The hotel is in a very convenient location . We really enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast each morning was sensational.

The bar and grill was not open the hours as advertised making it a little more difficult to enjoy a later snack . Last time we were here I remember have a delicious burger from the bar a couple of nights and not having to leave the hotel.

The staff was super friendly! The hotel air was blasting which felt so nice! The air was great in the room! The room was very clean! The pool was nice! Loved the walkway to the beach!! I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

The elevator was a little shaky which might be concerning since the elevator inspection was August 2023 and we visited June 2025. Sometimes I prefer to take the stairs just for extra exercise but you couldn’t without setting off an alarm.
