I loved the people that worked at Lake Rabun. The room was a bit noisy early the first morning because we were by the coffee maker on the second floor and some guests were up at 5:30 A.M. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was super clean. The breakfast was delicious as well at the dinner. It’s a great location for exploring the area. I want to go back sometime and stay in a bigger room that is a little more quiet and romantic. Next time if we get the opportunity we will book it.

No water access. Room a little noisy early why is there a coffee maker by the bedrooms in a b&b. The shower was a little scary it feels like you will fall through the second floor.

I love the ambience and the uniqueness of the hotel stay. The hotel was warm and inviting was cozy and very historic like I went back in time very romantic destination for you and your partner. And lastly, we met the chef and he was so welcoming, and the food was on point and some of the best I’ve had in awhile

Can’t think of much I didn’t like except maybe Wish the restaurant was open all week for dinner

Place meant of this original 112 yr old hotel has 13 rooms three floors very unique with great staff and owner and yessss the breakfast included is so very good!! In the restaurant menu is absolutely fantastic.

112 yr old building…..so in my room you can hear the couple talking in their room very easily … Really did not care for that..

Breakfast was excellent. Fireplace was a special place to meet new people.

Bathrooms were very small. Cell phone charging stations should be provided. This property is for older clientele.

This historic hotel was amazing. It was even cooler than the photos, and I adored the interiors and comfort of the hotel. Its location is beautiful and close to Tallulah Gorge, Lakemont Village, Clayton, Black Rock Mountain.

Truly nothing! It was great all round.

The location is so beautiful. We both loved how the “old-ness” has been preserved. The grounds and plants were enjoyable to see also. The breakfast was superb, quite delicious! It was so nice to sit out on one of the several decks and have a glass of wine in the lovely surroundings.

The only slight negative was that the walls are so thin. However, everyone who stayed the night we were there was very considerate and tried to be quiet as much as possible.

The breakfast was included in our stay. We all loved it. I travelled with my three sisters. We called it our "Sister Adventure". We are all seniors. The staff was more than accommodating for anything we requested. There is not an elevator or a person to help with our luggage, but the staff helped us with everything. They were amazing.

We are from Florida. We did NOT like the steep hill driving up to the Hotel. We did it though and then it was smooth sailing.

Breakfast was good. Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional. Location nestled in the trees was very pretty. This is how you would picture a 1920s historic inn. With multiple areas to relax in and out.

We liked the authentic feel of the place related to its history and yet it had its modern comforts. The restaurant was excellent. We will (and have) recommend the restaurant and hotel to friends.
