What little Gem. This was our first visit to Callaway Gardens. It was just myself and 2 kids. We walked in and were greeted right away. Check-in was easy, and we were up in our room in minutes. The room was spotless. You can tell the housekeeper is working hard and it's much appreciated. We enjoyed lunch at casons, and it was delicious the cocktails are spot on. Piedmont dining room offered a wonderful dinner. I have 1 picky kid, and he was able to find something each night and loved everything. All of the waiting staff were as friendly, and had great energy it felt like they all enjoyed doing their job which can often be hard to see in people. The pool was amazing, along with the bar. Now let's talk about the grounds, what a stunning place I felt so at peace anywhere I went. It was so quite and for the most part our little family was the only ones around. The butterfly exhibit was my so fun and so well kept. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. We visit pigeon forge 6 times a year the kids and I both agree this is where we will be visiting for our weekend getaways from now on. As a woman traveling alone with kids I felt so safe the entire trip and that's big bouns.

Terrible signage for directions, staff was friendly but did not give correct directions or information to events, and absolutely zero lights around the lodge gardens & pool at night… very scary & had to use a flashlight to return to my room.

Everything was very good. We had a wonderful time. Very peaceful.

What we didn't like is that Booking.com didn't show that there was an additional $84.84 per day for state and city taxes, hotel fee, and lodge resort fee. I thought I had paid for everything and then had to pay the $84.84 per day when checking in. Just make note that there are fees added upon arrival if using Booking.com. Also, Pine Mt., has limited places to eat. Lodge food is quite expensive.

Everything was first rate. The staff was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very accommodating. It is a little difficult to find your way around the park even with the map. I found myself getting turned around and going in the direction I had just come from, but overall everything was beautiful, well kept, educational and well worth my trip. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Beautiful facility! Nice bike trails and beach area. Good food - esp. at the golf clubhouse.

As a first-timer, I felt we weren’t given much info. as far as shuttle service, and where to rent bikes (across the parking lot from the Discovery Center, not AT the center. No beach towels available (or chair discount) for overnight guests at the beach; we were flying and didn’t have a lot of room to pack carry-on. Lack of showers at the beach - we only found a couple in the restrooms even though the sign pointed to a bath-house.

We enjoyed our walks around the gardens, beach and Chapel areas. It's literally a hotel in a park bubble. We felt very safe and it was not busy at all which was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful making us feel very welcomed.

Well we thought there would be mountains but more like rolling hills. Not really what I would call a mountain coming from PNW, but still it was peaceful and beautiful.

It was a girl's birthday trip. We enjoyed the beautiful Resort. We walked the trails and visited the Beach, the Butterfly house, the Chapel, and the Discovery center. Our thanks to Marjorie Kendricks (concierge) for making our stay even better.

It seems all activities come to an end by 6pm. It would be nice to have adult activites/entertainment in the evening. Suggestions: A small band performing in the amphitheatre or in the Piedmont room. This is minor but no place/hooks to hang your shower cap, travel bag, or robe in the bathroom. Would like to be able to purchase meal packages, eventhough you may have booked your reservation elsewhere.

My family has gone to Callaway for nearly 30 years. First time staying in Lodge! Surprised how everything around beach, minus the beach activities shop, were closed on. Saturday! Sad! We then went up to Rockin Robins…closed! Seemed like a ghost town around the cottages! The lakes were drained but think you are working on that! Restaurant on Lake Course, hole number 10…closed! New Signage around grounds looked great but just shocked how many things were closed over a weekend. Would love to come back but wondering now if it’s worth the price you pay at the Lodge. Was given a brochure of what was going on in Callaway but when you walk around all was closed!

Everything! The rooms are beautiful and the cleanest. Food in piedmont was phenomenal. The cafe barista who took my order is helpful and so kind. This was my first time with my grandbaby, and she had a blast at the light show.

Nothing. We had a great experience and plan to come back with more family to enjoy the lights along with an amazing place to stay!

The lodge has a rustic, earthy, and warm atmosphere. Staff was super kind and helpful. Dining is convenient, right inside the lodge and great service from the waiters. The weekend breakfast and dinner buffet was great. Really enjoyed Robin Lake. I like that the shower and bath are completely separated. Very deep tub and water ran very hot, for a relaxing bath. Ample parking. Overall, a very extraordinary experience.

Elevator was a little slow. Some dinner entrees were overpriced and had a lackluster taste. Need more menu options for vegans and non swine eaters, especially the breakfast, which had only pork options. The line for made to order food such as omelets and all was too long at times. There should be more than one person taking and making those orders.
