Pets Stay FREE; The decor was different on every level so you knew when you were on the wrong floor; Staff was very accommodating. I requested a fridge and microwave be put in my room if they were available. I was told it would be there upon check-in but it wasn't, however this was easily solved by letting the front desk know and they had someone deliver them in a timely manner. They kindly delivered plastic utensils to my room late at night for my leftovers which I really appreciated. The woman who checked me in was very nice and personable. The room was simple, smaller than I expected but the space was utilized in a way to maximize the functionality. Decor was very nice and updated with sturdy furniture and I really appreciated the wardrobes and seating.

Though the location was perfect for me, there wasn't any nearby grass for my dog to relieve herself. There were some helpful dirt patches a block away so she made it work, but it's to be noted if you have a fussy dog. The elevators are tight but for a building in the city, it wasn't surprising. However on our 1st day, one was making a sound that was a little concerning and the next evening, it was decommissioned. As being trapped in an elevator is high up on my fears list, this was kind of worrying but I thank my lucky stars I guess. This was a bit inconvenient since I tried not to get into crowded elevators with my dog and this made us have to wait a while.

The location is great. Access to all types of transportation is easy. Great area to walk in. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Welcoming, helpful, efficient and great to chat with. The hotel is extremely clean, lobby, guestrooms and meeting rooms. The art installation on the lobby and second floor was a real bonus. It made the hotel feel inviting and interesting...and it is! The staff were diligent in handling the elevator and Wi-Fi situation. That is the sign of a great hotel. Things happen and these folks know how to handle those situations. The guestrooms are well thought out with good lighting, great use of space and decor. Loved getting coffee in the Lure restaurant at 7:00am. This hotel is a unique property that provides a great hotel experience.

That we had to go home!

Beds are comfortable. Room is a great size. Hotel location is excellent and felt very safe. There are many awesome restaurants nearby and it’s a short walk to great sight seeing. Love the espresso machine in the room. The hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are high quality and very nice. Yes, there are a lot of sirens from time to time outside but leaving the ac unit on fan all night drowned out the noise. However it is easy to hear people in hallways so if inconsiderate people are staying nearby it could be intrusive. Luckily we didn’t experience that.

TV should have access to internet so we can sign in to our own streaming services. Since it doesn’t, the bare minimum would be to have the guide channel actually work and show what programming is on. The bathroom light switch should be inside the bathroom not outside.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walk to Cloud Gate and many different restaurants. The hotel is lovely, loved the bathroom setup, and the room had plenty of space for suitcases and a small seating area for working on your laptop or eating a snack. If you have a car, best option is to valet. While it is $75, it does come with in/out privileges, and area garages are pricey without that option.

The one drawback was that the valet could have used an extra person or two. The attendant was very nice and she was working hard to get everyone's car, but it was only one person so we did have to wait a bit when needing our car.

This was a great stay from start to finish. I would certainly stay again. There really is an art museum on site, be sure to visit the mezzanine soon upon arrival. Enjoyed dinner and several happy hours at the Lure restaurant, great amenity. Well-laid out room. Room fridge was quiet. The air conditioning worked well but made quite a roar. Windows open. The lighting in the room was exceptional - every light had a dimmer, and there was good bedside lighting. Plenty of drawers and a closet, as well as a suitcase stand, all of which were appreciated. The location on the Red line near Grand station was excellent. (If you’re coming from Midway, take any Orange line train and change at Roosevelt.) We were walking distance to the river (and the Apple Store, and the world’s biggest Starbucks…) Hats off to Francisco for taking good care of us.

For a museum hotel, the first floor lobby and reception area is awkwardly laid out, and does not do justice to an otherwise well-designed property.

This hotel was nice. The room and bathroom were a great size, with a sofa and table area, which was good for myself and my two daughters staying for a girls trip away! The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Overall, it was a super choice for our first visit to Chicago and I would recommend it as we walked around the city very easily from the hotel given its central location for the touristy bits and it was reasonably priced too! I loved the bedside charging block for mobile phones which was provided, as it was a really good device and very convenient to just put my phone on top of to charge, simple but very useful!

I would have liked the room to have a safe Though we were high up, we could still hear some traffic and the sirens, didn't disturb us as we are good sleepers but may bother others. Check in staff member wasn't the happiest I have ever met.

It was decent. The good: location in walking distance to many things, beds were comfortable. The not so good: only 2 elevators and they're really small so have to wait sometimes, rooms are fairly small, traffic is loud all night and walls are thin between rooms. The bad: this has never happened to us before, but when we got our car from valet upon checkout, it smelled strongly of weed inside of it. Not cool at all. Probably won't stay here again since there are plenty of other choices in the city.

Lovely suite with a comfortable bed and a nice bath tub. It was very quiet. Oddly, the room lacked art. There was just one uninteresting painting. The exhibit in the hotel was the same as it was during a previous stay. That was disappointing.

Housekeeping was intrusive. I became quite I'll during my stay and had the do not disturb sign on my door. I had to run to the lobby for something and asked the housekeeper in the hall if she could set a few towels inside my door. When I returned about 3 min later, she was in the room cleaning. After she left, I realized she had thrown away the the food I had ordered and had delivered along with the beverage. That was all I had to eat and was too sick to go anywhere. I was pissed. She had removed the do not disturb sign.

Gracious and responsive staff, room location, fabulous restaurant offerings: I was unfamiliar with the property but the online description and reviews intrigued me. Further, the location made sense for this particular trip. Lastly, given the many hotel choices in Chicago, the service I received would make me return to 21c Museum Hotel. Complimentary drinking water, a big plus.

In room bathroom amenities, bar soap too small.

One of the fanciest hotels we’ve stayed in so that was cool. We weren’t expecting to have to use the key card to use the elevator so we were confused at first but managed to catch on quickly haha. Art studio on 2nd floor was neat. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was fancy too.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom we could find and the beds felt smaller than a queen. They were comfy but still kind of small for 2 people to sleep on.
