Right in the heart of downtown Carmel, the location is excellent. We walked and rode the Carmel city bikes to cafes and restaurants on the shared path and made the most of our time in the area. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers a really unique experience.

The hotel is very comfortable, but for the price, we were expecting a slightly more elevated experience. For example, there was a refundable charge for the wi-fi. The shower water pressure wasn't great. The linens were a bit starchy, etc. They're little things that wouldn't bother us at a different price point.

Loved the aesthetic of the hotel, the location and the restaurant/patio. Staff was excellent.

I did not get the room I reserved online-a King with a sofa. When I mentioned to front desk they said they don't have sofas on the top floor-but I did see sofas in other rooms. They brought us a hideaway bed which was fine but the room was small and there was nowhere to sit beside the bed or the office chair. Also, one of the sheets had a dirty stain that didn't appear to be laundered. We were given a small discount when we brought it to the staff's attention.

I stay in a lot of hotels in the Carmel and Indianapolis area. Hotel Carmichael is a step above your regular luxury hotel experience. Every detail is impeccably considered and attended to. It’s just really nice to stay somewhere when the staff is so invested in doing an excellent job. That sense of pride just shines through to the guest,

The beauty and cleanliness of hotel. Accessibility by car. In the middle of new part of town of Carmel. One can walk everywhere. Very near restaurants and cultural activities.

Carmel is touted as a walkable city. People are still too reliant on their cars, which makes this walking city a nightmare to get around by car. And on a cold rainy night, walking was not much fun.

Hotel Carmichael is such a beautiful place to stay. We loved the decor, it was so elegant and classy. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our dining experience as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location! We will certainly be back!

Beautifully decorated and very clean. The shower was huge. Feels like you are in a very expensive hotel but at a reasonable rate. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is complimentary parking, but you have to be lucky to find an open spot.

Google Maps takes you to the back of the hotel. It is difficult to find the entrance to the front of the hotel. Breakfast is offered as a room service meal and was overcooked. This charge is added to your bill. There is no other option for breakfast unless you leave the hotel.

It's a quite beautiful hotel and the staff were outstanding. The offer of a cold water bottle or a glass of wine and the DeBrands chocolate at check-in were a delightful surprise.

Parking in the garage is limited

Hotel is gorgeous.

The mattresses were definitely not very comfortable. My wife and I didn’t sleep as well as we’d hoped. Outside of that the hotel is super nice

Beautiful hotel, clean and super friendly staff. Was right next to the German Christmas market, walk out the door of the hotel into the market, no driving involved and could go back and forth easily. Delicious breakfast at Vivante.

Bar was pricey

Location was perfect. Hotel was beautiful. Front desk, valet and support staff were amazing!

Pillows were not great. Service at bar and restaurant were slow. Hotel overpriced overall.
