We enjoyed our stay; except there was a bunch of kids/families there-it was loud, the kids were rude, and the parents didn’t care. We couldn’t get into the pool or hot tub because of the amount of unsupervised children. At one point, we came down to get into the pool, and there were 20 kids (no joke!) in the hot tub and at least 15 in the pool- both inside and outside. We ended up not even swimming because of it, so that was disappointing. The evening food was decent- at best. The breakfast was okay though. The disappointment was that the gravy was super runny & the pancakes were paper flat.

The rooms were clean. Hallways were clean too. Staff was professional. Breakfast and evening snacks were excellent.

The A/C in the room. Could not get the room temp down to 68. Stayed at 74 degrees for several hours. Mentioned to the front desk and was told that the system was reset and it would take 15-30 mins but 6 hrs later it dropped to 73. This is my second d experience with the same issue. Last year the engineer came and fixed it. This time too the engineer came in but the temperature stays between 70-71 although the room controller is set to 66-68. Interestingly the lobby was way cooler than the rooms.

Breakfast was great and drinks and snacks a wonderful touch! We hardly had to pay for any other meals which made the price of the hotel worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Oh and they actually have daily room cleaning. We were there for the Indy 500 so we didn't really have a chance to explore the area but there is a nice restaurant right there in the parking lot of the hotel which I believe is open for lunch and dinner. Would definitely stay here again and will start trying to use Drury hotels on future vacations.

Just go ahead and book the Drury! It's a beautiful property and very conveniently placed in the heart of Indianapolis and 465. I really appreciated how clean, new and modern the hotel and more importantly, my room was! Immaculate clean and white bedding, spotless and clean bathroom, the furniture was perfect - no tears or cracks. Breakfast included was great.

I purchased the Breakfast included and i wish they offered more variety for the hot plate than just biscuits, sausage patty and eggs -- every single day. Perhaps sprinkle in bacon, or turkey bacon, some other protein for guests.

We have never stayed at a Drury before and will absolutely be looking to stay again! We chose this location when we went to Indy to see the zoo and children's museum. It was clean, comfortable, and staff was very friendly. The included breakfast and happy hour (dinner) were great with lots of choices for both kids and adults. Staying here made traveling with our 4 kids (8, 6, 3, and an infant) a breeze. They were fed well, they had a clean pool to burn extra energy in, lots of lobby seating for a change of scenery if needed, and they'd tell you the popcorn machine was a favorite too :). 10/10 recommend for family travel!

How do I explain our experience at this little slice of heaven? I will try. This hotel is exceeded any previous expectations I had concerning a hotel experience. All the staff (it started with Celeste, who checked us in) to the moment we exited the hotel were fabulous. The customer care here is absolutely unheard of in today’s world. From free popcorn and 3 free drinks to delicious free snacks (more like a meal) being served to the guests! Oh did I mention we also had a free breakfast included and coffee 24/7! Once again, I was absolutely surprised by the care giving to the guests! These things don’t exist in our world today! But at Drury Plaza Hotel Indianapolis Carmel they still do! What a lovely experience! All the staff were attentive and friendly too. I must have been in the twilight zone during our stay! This was my first time staying at a Drury Hotel but I assure you this will be my hotel of choice in the future! Thank you to all the staff and especially Celeste for making the very first moment I walked into the property a positive and lovely experience! This should be rated a five star hotel! Well done Drury!

One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I used to work in a hotel, and I have to say I'm impressed. The food isn't top-notch, but it's consistent, well-prepared, and honestly, that’s what made it so good. Breakfast, dinner, everything was steady and reliable. And the drink tickets? Absolutely everything. Please keep the lime water 24/7. I woke up at 3 am wanting a fresh drink and it wasn't available.

Keep your lime water up more! Or some kind of ice water or water option.

Drury inns use quality material for their Hotels. The hotel and rooms always look as if they hotel just opened. After traveling all day its nice to have the conveince of afternoon dinner and a drink ready so you can unwind and not have to go out and travel to get a meal. Have a great breakfast ready to go in the morning allows me to focus on the days events. I've never been to a Drury hotel where they've let me down. I wish they were in more markets. I always check to see if there is a Drury in the area I'm traveling. Bob Brennan

Removable shower heads that allow you to shower hard to reach spots. But I understand why you don't have them......its just another thing that get broken by your guest.

Check-in was a breeze & the staff was informative & friendly. Our room was very clean & felt inviting. The bed and pillows was extremely comfortable and I would rate it the best sleep I've had at a hotel! The hot tub felt amazing and the pool was equally as nice. There was always plenty of towels available & that is usually rare at other hotels I've stayed. The breakfast was delicious! With the mini waffles being my favorite! The only negative remark I can make for the 3 nites we stayed was the kickback food wasn't appetizing for me at all. It tasted too processed. I wish more fruit & veggies was offered. Thank you all for the pride you put into making this a great hotel!! We will definitely be back!

We arrived just in time to eat ( taco night) very delicious!! We only had about 10 minutes before cocktails and food was over— the very nice guy that checked us in informed us. We had plenty of time to finish, however. The staff was very friendly!! I especially enjoyed swimming in the pool. My husband and I went under the partition outside swimming and it was so refreshing!! It really helped my joints and it was relaxing to view the night sky - no stars- but we could see our breath and the snow!! So therapeutic for me- I usually only like swimming in warm, warm summer weather but could not resist!!

Loved it all!! I will be back!!
