The rooms were so nice! Spacious, clean, and newly renovated. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly.

Would have been cool to have an indoor pool

I have traveled extensively for years, staying at some of the most luxurious hotels in the world—such as The Peninsula in Hong Kong, The Westin in Manila, and the Shangri-La in China—yet I was genuinely surprised to find such an exceptional hotel in the heart of Topeka, Kansas, at such an unbelievable rate. For this gem, I only paid $116, which makes the experience even more remarkable. Let’s start with the check-in: I was welcomed by a lovely lady named Rica, whose warm smile and efficiency instantly brightened my day. The process was quick and seamless. Upon entering the room, I was impressed by the elegant yet comfortable décor. The layout was perfect, with a bar area completely separate from a cozy living room featuring a very comfortable sofa and a well-equipped nightstand. The bathroom was fully stocked with more towels than I could count—something I truly loved. There was also a closet with an iron, ironing board, and extra pillows. The vanity area had an ample supply of hotel soaps and lotions, and the shower featured shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. (I would love to know the brand because my hair and skin felt hydrated and smelled amazing afterwards!) Now, the most important part: the bed. I had not slept in such a comfortable bed in years. I even took photos of the mattress and pillow brands, only to discover that each pillow costs over $200. I told my husband, “I don’t care, we’re buying them!” and he completely agreed. The room smelled wonderfully clean, which to me is a sign of true care in housekeeping. Everything was spotless, and there was a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere throughout. Breakfast was delicious, and I would easily rate this hotel a 9.8 out of 10. The only small reason I don’t give it a perfect score is because of the lady managing breakfast that morning. She seemed to be having a bad day and spoke to guests in a less-than-friendly tone, which felt out of place in such a magical hotel.

Traveling with a puppy the hard surface flooring was great.

I reserved 4 rooms for a church trip to Topeka, KS. The reviews and rates for this hotel made me choose it, and I'm glad I did! I didn't dislike anything! We Loved Everything!!! The staff was the best thing about the hotel! They were Amazing and super accommodating throughout our entire trip! I've never had a better experience from staff at any hotel! The amenities, decor, cleanliness, location, and parking area were all excellent! The rooms are nice, new, clean, and modern. The layout of the rooms is very nice because the privacy wall between the couch and the beds makes it feel like it's 2 separate rooms even though it's not. There's also ample parking for all customers, so you don't have to park far from the hotel and walk to it. The free breakfast was also good. This hotel gets a 10 star rating out of 5 stars! I will recommend them to everyone, and Hyatt Place hotels will now be my go-to hotel if there's one in the area where I travel to. I hope the staff gets to see these reviews because they need to know that they're keeping customers coming back and to keep up the great work! They should be praised when they do good, not just be reprimanded when they don't meet expectations.

We like how the hotel is centrally located. It is right off the highway (but still quiet) and easy to get around when we need food or any other necessities for the road trip. The staff keeps things clean and organized, despite a few spots they seem to be working on/fixing by the elevator. The beds are extremely comfortable. We appreciate the small partition between the beds and sofa.

I want to commend Maria who was extremely helpful in getting us a room that didn’t have a noisy air conditioner. She was polite and professional and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was also good and we like the rooms at Hyatt Place

Noisy air conditioning and we moved rooms several times. Handicapped parking was really far from the hotel entrance. Undergoing renovations so only one elevator was working.

Close to I70 in a nice part of town. Room was recently remodeled. Very comfortable beds and pillows

Although I didn’t have any problems, the front desk seemed to be extremely short staffed. There was just one very nice young man covering the desk, answering the phone and basically dealing with everything in the lobby and guest services.

Breakfast was good. Would have like to have morning juice, but the hotel didn't have any with the free breakfast without purchasing it. Room was clean, the bed comfortable.

I didn't like how the door in the bathroom opened up. The shower condiments were empty, so if one is depending on body shower wash, shampoo or rinse, it may or may not be available.

Nice location , staff was very nice , hotel was very clean.. looks like they recently did remodeling so our room was very beautiful. We had connecting rooms since we came to visit family for the holiday & had the kids

It could do with more soundproofing. I could hear other people talking in their rooms while I was in my room - on the phone/talking to each other.
