Had king room with riverview. Room was very nice and clean. Casino was spacious. Slot machines spread out : so you werent sitting on top of other players. Sports book staff that night were very helpful. Plus they have ample big screen tvs.

When you drive up to check in for hotel; You either park in the open outdoors or can go to the backside and park in parking garage. Parking in parking garge gives you alot longer walk. Problem is there is not ample or adequate signage on how to get to hotel from there.

The rooms have been done up recently, and are very comfortable. However, they have not finished cleaning up after the tradespeople, eg paint splashes on tiles etc, which is a shame.

I was really disappointed that the pool had been closed and we were unable to use that area. It was 29C when we were there, and I really wanted to sit by the pool - but instead I sat in my room. This should be clear on the website. Also, I booked a week ahead, and then noticed that there was a 35% discount on the property on the day - so I paid way too much.

Nice facility. Casino floor not crowded with slot machines or tables. Was there Tuesday evening so casino was not crowded. $10 craps table and very friendly, personable staff. Location is on the river which is not attractive. Restaurant was not open in the evening or morning for breakfast. Room was very nice. King bed and great lighting. Bathroom is small but walk-in shower is very nice with hot water. Open parking lot is close to the front door with security roams. Would stay again.

The hotel is quite nice with a really cool art deco vibe. It had all of the amenities as well as a very nice sitting area. Everything looks brand new. Loved the cool lighting. Comfortable beds. Reasonable price. We were there to visit the casino (which turned out to be a better value than some others nearby) and to try out Gordan Ramsay's restaurant (which was as expensive as expected but quite good with excellent service). Great sitting area looking over the lake. Free drinks on casino floor when gambling.

Don't expect great views - this is an industrial area. Fascinating to watch the large cargo ships, but not pretty. Not an issue, since it's what's inside most people are there to experience. While the hanging, sliding "barn door" for the bathroom looked cool it could not be locked. Shower is great with waterfall head but since it is clear glass anyone needing to pass through the vanity area to get to the lavatory might get a show if someone's in the shower. They should add a fogged effect to the shower door and walls.

The room was very nice. I was disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned up and water bottles not given for the coffee the next day. So we just left early sunday to stop and get coffee. Also we were given only one towel and one hand towel. We had to find hospitality to get an extra towel and a wash cloth.

We didn’t like the. Fact no one was winning. We didn’t either. Slots were too cold. Saturday afternoon we ended up going over to Golden Nugget and wow what a difference. Lot more restaurants, very nice pool and we we’re having fun winning on the slots. We asked about the pool at Horseshoe and they said it was closed until further notice. We took our swim suits and never used them.

Perfect layout for our family with older kids! The front desk was so nice and accommodating to give us connecting rooms- one with a balcony! It was a fun spot to stop and gamble for a bit.

The parking and check-in situation is confusing. Valet parking was closed and the lot was full so we ended up in the garage. It was a long walk with our luggage back to the front of the casino to check-in. If valet was open that would’ve solved our issues.

Hotel was closed after bad hurricane a few years ago. Hotel has been renovated by new owners and is very nice but a minor glitches here and there. (bathroom door did not close, painter's tape still in a few places) Loved the Jose Eber toiletries, comfy beds and linens. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

No pool- no gym-yet. Unfortunately hotel is located next to Interstate 10, a very, very busy freeway-lots of noisy traffic all night. There is also a railway next to hotel and yes, a train roared by-horns and all- at 5:00 a.m.

The room was exceptional, updated furnishings and very roomy. Bed and bedding extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property is currently under construction with some areas of the property not being accessible to guests. Elevator access from the parking garage to the hotel is a nightmare. With this property being a casino I expecting more dining options but wasn’t the case, however once construction is completed it will include additional dining options.

Lack of amenities, no food offerings, in the morning, bar/coffee shop opened late morning. Tried to ask the gentleman at the entrance of the back casino where could i find some coffee, but he was focused on my computer backpack like it was a bomb saying I cant go in the casino with that, I had no intention of going in the casino as I told him I was just asking him where can I find coffee.

Enjoyed our time here. Was not overly crowded. There were plenty of slots to play. The staff were very friendly. The hotel room was a great price. It was very roomy, very clean and the beds were comfy. Added bonus was a great view of the lake. I had been worried about staying here and playing here after reading several negative reviews. But we had a very nice stay!

The only small complaint I have is that the hotel room could have been a bit cooler. I had my small fan, so everything worked out fine.
