I had a good stay with Le Méridien, New Orleans. The fixtures and fittings in the room (no: 1917) could possibly do with a refresh, but that really didn't matter to me, as it was large and very comfortable. Importantly for me, I asked for a quiet room which is exactly what I got, and so I slept excellently. The other important feature for me was use of the hotel swimming pool. This was well maintained and the facilities there were all very clean. I was able to swim every day of my stay and that was really lovely. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. I was impressed by the good quality of the food. The staff at the bar was really accommodating. I liked the response of management when an issue was reported. Towanna the bar attendant was amazing. Also Emmanuel. However the entire bar staff morning and evening were amazing

The room cleaning service could greatly improve. I had to ask each day for the maid to use a cleaning agent for the bathroom and the toilet. It was as if they only flushed the toilet and wiped out the shower with no cleaning liquids( bleach, pinesol etc.). The carpet in the room was also really dark to hide the dirt. It looked as if the rug hadn’t been scrubbed/cleaned in a long time. I did not allow my baby to crawl and play on the ground while in the room.

Not quite modern, the property seems well maintained, and looks to be recently renovated. The location is perfect, between the French Quarter and the Convention and Business districts.

Important things were missed. Upon arrival, the room had not been cleaned up from the previous guest. The phone was inoperative, requiring us to visit the front desk to request another room. Even though I requested two adjoining rooms at the time of booking, the front desk staff found it impossible to accommodate this request, and stated that I had made two separate reservations. The staffing in the breakfast area was inadequate for the high numbers of hotel guests with the $25 dollar “resort” credits. The driveway/pick up area was often very congested, making entry and exit somewhat difficult. As is the current trend with American hotels, there is NO room service, and NO way to order food for us to pick up at the bar/breakfast area.

Great location. 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. Right across the street from Mother’s Restaurant. The executive king suite was huge with amazing 180 degree view of the city.

The furniture in the suite was worn. Definitely needed some updating.

Good location. Walking distance to Canal Street, French Quarter, Riverwalk Outlet Mall and Convention Centre. Room was of a good size and very comfortable. Housekeeping services were excellent. Front desk staff were helpful.

There is a $20 food and beverage deposit per day that was not mentioned in the initial booking and it is forfeited if not used by the end of the stay. Service at the Longitude 90 bar and restaurant could have been better. Had to wait long to be served and staff could have been friendlier. Fitness center is well equipped, but the machines need some maintenance.

The atomosphere of the hotel was very inviting, the staff was helpful and accommodating,the location was perfect for walking tk the riverfront, canal street and local stores

Refrigerator in room did not stay cool

I liked how friendly & welcoming the staff were to me. I liked how close this hotel was to everything. Nice view and good space.

I did not like how hot the room was even with the air turned down to 65, the floor was hot as well. That should be looked at. I didn’t really like that when we got into bed there was makeup on the sheets and the runner. Also the fridge did not get cold at all, we brought drinks in and it was pointless. My last dislike was the guy serving/bartending the drinks by the pool was not friendly at all. He had a rude demeanor not with just myself but my partner as well. I’d rather walk into the lobby for a drink than to deal with him.

The bed was comfy and the bathroom and room itself was well lit. We also loved the city view and the lady that checked us in was nice and informative.

Did not like the fact that the pricing of the room's minibar was not available to us and when contacting front desk, the employees were unsure of the actual pricing, so we were charged something different than what we were told. Also, the guy that we came into contact with at the front desk should smile more-seemed agitated when we asked reasonable questions about our bill.

The front desk staff was amazing. They were friendly and very helpful when i had questions about tourism. they were responsive when i had issues with the service received. The location of the hotel is very central, so you can get around the city very quickly.

The cleaning service was inconsistent. The rooms were not cleaned regularly and towels weren't changed. The menu in the restaurant was very limited in terms of options of what to eat. I would not recommend the breakfast served to a frequent traveller.

The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was timely, and you can conveniently tip through the shiny app. You can get free Internet as a Marriott member.

When I checked in, the staff gave me a list of "free" perks included in my fees. It was a little confusing how to redeem the perks. The front desk was always busy and may not have time to answer your questions. The $25 destination fee every day turned out to be meal coupons that can be redeemed at the hotel's bar. It is too bad that they don't have a business center. The staff asked me to use the business center at a nearby Hilton hotel.
