Located right in the middle of everything you want to do in new orleans. Casino right across the street, french quarter is 8 blocks away and the garden district is a quick bus ride. The facilities were clean and the room was spacious.

No complaints. Valet parking was good. Every parking option in New Orleans is expensive.

We were happy with our stay. Our room was very large and comfortable and the reception staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge and nicely decorated. Our room had both a tub and separate shower. Everything was very clean. We had a problem with the shower on the first day which was attended to immediately. It's in a very lively area about 2 blocks from Canal street, not quite in the French quarter, and was surprisingly quiet. There are many restaurants in the area. However nothing I could find for people who watch their weight, but that's New Orleans, not the hotel.

We were embarrassed when we arrived that we didn't know how to operate the elevators. We generally vacation in Europe in boutique hotels and vacation homes and only once in a high-rise hotel, so were unfamiliar with the card lock. Also I was disappointed the pool wasn't in operation during our stay as that was a major selling point for this hotel and I wasn't told it would be shut down. It was down for a about a week so so should be back in service now.

The property was immaculate & the ENTIRE staff was superb!!! As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the friendly valet staff. I made my way to the counter & was greeted by the most vibrant & nicest person ever-Allyson! She was personable, helpful & extremely down to earth. Because of her, I will book again & again, as well as recommend to everyone I know! Ms. Beverly & Allason (sorry if spelling is incorrect) the male staff member were also amazing!! Job well done on hiring these 3 phenomenal workers!! Despite being in N.O. for New Year’s during the devastating terror not far from our hotel, these staff members were the most caring & accommodating-I’ll never forget their warm spirit. P.S. Shout out to the amazing & friendly bar staff also. The drinks & food were equally superb!

The staff are very friendly, I loved that there was lemon water in the lobby; I was so thirsty after coming back for the day. Such a life saver. So many towels available in the bathroom - I have a towel for every limb lol. My room had a shower and tub, so that was cool.

I think the infrastructure could use some upgrades. For example, charging sockets by the bed are very loose and some sockets did not work. For this, I feel like I didn't really get a good rate for my room. It wasn't "luxury" as advertised, I really expected more. There is no bottled water.

The hotel staff are very nice and the hotel is situated in a great area just a short walk from the French quarter and the Riverside walk. The have live music in the evenings and the bar is a nice place to hang out before venturing out into the city.

The hotel valet system is some what to be desired. We turned up and found it to be a chaotic mix of cars blocking the road and valet staff trying to work out how to move all the cars. The rooms are nice but a little tired compared to other Loews Hotels I have stayed at.

The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The staff was kind and accommodating during my stay. The location is perfect, it's just far enough from Bourbon street to focus on work and close enough to enjoy the night life.

The property was gorgeous & in an unbeatable location. All of the hotel staff were kind, helpful, and friendly. I didn’t get a chance to check out the onsite restaurant or pool, but that gives me an excuse to book a second stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property, itself. I will mention that my first night at the hotel, the guests in the room next door threw a party at 3am that turned violent around 6am. I’m very happy with how promptly the hotel responded to the incident and that the hotel staff were very concerned about how to improve my stay after the incident, but on further reflection, I have had some minor questions about how such a large group of people were able to enter the hotel at 3am.

Welcoming, location was awesome, rooms were big enough and clean. A bit old but also it’s the charm of New Orleans, not everything has to be modern.

They would not provide a late check out, while we only spent about $1700 for our stay I would expect them to allow us another couple hours late check out. We only needed to keep the milk (my wife is breastfeeding) in the fridge until leaving to the airport.

Location perfect for our needs. Location easy for Uber/Lyft to pick us up. Quiet and less crowded since outside of French Quarters. Location felt safe for 2 senior female travelers.

Needs improvement We like to take our things out of the suitcase, but there were only 3 small drawers in the room, so we didn’t. There were no drawers in the bathroom. There was only 1 bathroom robe. In dealings with the front desk, 2 were friendly, however the other 2 made us feel that were irritated with our questions. Same will bell hop, one friendly, the other short with us.

Reception at front desk was rather uninterested and robotically doing check in and check out, not what I call a warm welcome. Bar and restaurant area airconditioned to a freezing temperature, impossible to have a drink without putting warm sweater on. Excessive prices for valet parking seem to be the standard in New Orleans.
