Great location right off of Route 1, yet is fairly quiet! The amenities were clean, the beds were comfortable (although a little too squishy for my personal taste). There was a fridge and a microwave, and there is free parking.

Our room unfortunately smelled like dog, which, even though it was clean, made the stay a little less pleasant. We ended up having to open the windows in 40F rainy weather and spray some perfume around to get rid the unpleasant smell. It was also a little pricey, especially for being in the off-season, but at the time of booking, it was still the cheapest option in the area.

The location was alongside the main road, however, set back from it and the road was quiet at night. The room was very comfortable and any requirement was willing supplied by reception. The bed was particularly large. Value was reasonable given the location and time of year. It was a 1.5 hour drive to the Acadia National Park, which we did not find onerous given the scenery.

The air conditioning unit was noisy and since the unit must not have been too well insulated it came on and off a lot during the cool, but not cold night. It worked well, however.

The room is clean and has everything you need for staying. There is a sea food place down the hill with 5 mins walk. Travel about 1 hour 20mins to Acadia national park or Bar Harbor.

There are so many flies and mosquitoes stay near your front light at night. You better have some insect spray for them. Otherwise, the second you open the door at night time is a disaster. The door lock is a little loose but it got the safe lock up top so not a big deal.

I hadn’t stayed in a motel in years, and this one was super cute. It was completely updated and especially liked that it had vinyl planked flooring (instead of nasty carpet like most hotels). Everything seemed clean and new.

I booked online as we were getting tired of driving to our destination. We arrived at the motel around 9:15-9:30pm, with a sign on the office door to call a number to get the key. We then were told that the office staff leaves at 9:00 and we had the option of driving to the sister hotel down the street or wait in our car and they would come to us with the key. Reluctantly we got back in the car to go get the key, as we thought that maybe a faster option. They were very nice, but again we were tired of driving. Seemingly, the desk attendant could have checked for any online bookings before leaving for the night. Beds/pillows were fine, I wouldn’t say comfortable.

The bathroom fixtures were top quality and worked properly. The bed was great for our oldish bones. It was the cleanest of all the places we’ve stayed on this trip and those had been with big chains. And the convenience of backing your vehicle up to your room door to make unloading and loading so much easier was a huge bonus.

Exceptional clean. It looked like the motel was modernized very recently. Very good location....just minutes from down town restaurants and shopping.

There was an issue with the TV. I thought it was a remote control problem.....I'd try to change the channels and there was a very long pause before it would respond. I asked our friends, who were staying in another room, if they had any issues and he said they had the same problem. Having said that, we didnt complain because we spent very little time in the room.

Very nice rehab of old motel space - they made it modern, comfortable, upscale, and overall had everything we needed. Very pleasant space. Beds were comfortable. My father appreciated the extra blanket, as he gets cold at night. Motel staff was very accommodating and called me to make sure we knew how late the office was open.

The heat/air system was able to either have heat, or the fan on, but not both, so to keep the room warm, the unit was going on and off all night, which was distracting and kept me awake. I've been in many other hotels where you could pick heat or cold, and ALSO have the fan on consistently.

This was the first motel I’ve stayed in since I can remember. Check-in was simple, and being a motel getting to your room is simple, drive and park right in front of it. It was a nicely updated clean room, that would compete with most chain hotels. It had a nice king bed, spacious bathroom, and mini fridge and microwave (ended up forgetting some newly purchased craft cider :-/ ). I would say it’s a little overpriced still for a motel, but it was a holiday weekend so I won’t knock it too bad. Overall, would happily stay again though.

Loved that there weren't rugs! Made the cleaniness of the room obvious. The mini refrigerator & coffee availability was wonderful

Nowhere close for breakfast. The up side to that was us exploring the area & discovering DOTS Market in Lincolnville - excellent discovery!

Location is central to the Maine coast. Easy access to both Bar Harbour and Camden

Rooms only have double beds and are very small to share with another adult. They are cutting back housekeeping services because of "COVID". I believe this threat is over and, like many other hotels, they are simply trying to reduce their labor costs. Their "contractual policies" leave lots of room for the traveler to lose their booking money.
