This particular room had a couch, and also desk with coffee maker, and the breakfast was the most complete of all 4 hotels that I experienced, including orange, sliced bread, yoghurt and more, in quantities decided by the guest, not by the staff of the kitchen, which we noticed in all other 3 hotels we tried. In fact, in the majority of hotels in Maine, there is no sliced bread or oranges or apples, only possibly canned fruit (watermelon, canteloupe). This hotel went above this limitation. The hotel is also apparently more affordable than those in Portland, ME .... while still being located near the classic sites of Old Orchard, Ogunquit, Camden, Brunswick, Kennebunkport, etc.

This cost 33 percent more than the regular price in equivalent hotels across Maine, not sure why, but due to the relative better price than Portland, ME, and location, was worth it in end

Room was clean. The breakfast, except for the bacon which had no flavor, was excellent! Great way to start the day!

The first front desk person was kind of grumpy. But we had to figure out where are reservation was in the system. He figured it out, because the paper work I printed out did not have the confirmation number on it. He learned how to find it and I learned to make sure that I write the confirmation number down. Also, the pool was cold. There were warm water spouts in the pool. You might think about putting something on the bottom of the door to block the air coming into the pool area. It was cold in the pool and outside the pool.

The room was clean and had no odors, the staff was quick to get you in and friendly.

The only issue was controlling the heat in the room. The thermostat did not seem to want to work. When I arrived, the room was a little chilly, so I turned the heat up, and even though the temperature said it was up to where I adjusted it, the room was not any warmer. The blower seemed to only want to blow cool air. Thank god for nice warm bed and comforter.

We liked that it was super close to everything in town. It was super quiet, and we got checked in very fast.

The room was pretty clean for the most part. Just the shower head looked pretty dirty, definitely could use a good scrub. There were a couple of broken old crackers in between the wall and the mini fridge.. other than that we didn’t really notice anything else.

The room set-up was very comfortable and homey. Grear firm king-sized bed. The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from. I particularly liked the warm egg white and veggie pockets. The breakfast room manager did a great job keeping everything well supplied.

The window was very drafty and needs updating. The tub faucet continued to run while taking a shower. The bathroom lighting also needs updating. Too dim. The coffee was awful. We only saw the front desk clerk once.

It was an amazing stay!! The staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean. Our room had two queen beds that were extremely comfortable, and the room smelled really nice. The food provided at breakfast was fresh, and there were plenty of options. We didn't use the pool during this stay, but we did enjoy the pool area during our last visit.

room was comfortable, quiet; the bathroom fan was a continuous quiet fan vs. the noisy ones that turn on automatically with light switch. staff assisted us promptly when we encountered a problem with the automatic lock that prevented us from exiting the room. They replaced the lock within 1/2 hour and we had not further problems.

Breakfast was good, first given a room that had not been cleaned, was switched to a room that was great, clean, nice sitting area(great for readers) restroom was a bit small, but very clean.

The room carpet seems to have been sprayed with a fragrance, which was not good for me or for those like myself who may have allergies or sensitive to fragrances.the only reason why I did not give 10 stars

Great room, microwave, fridge, small couch, coffee and a good hot breakfast which never ran out. Beds were comfortable. Good shower, water hot. Loved the full shower dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Heated indoor pool nice for families with pool towels

Low lights in the bathroom and cold by the window.

Our room was large and comfortable (king with a sofa). It was clean. There was a mini fridgerator and a coffee maker which is always a bonus. The breakfast selection met our needs (pancakes, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea). The staff was responsive and very pleasant.

All was good. There was nothing we did not like about the hotel.
