linda is incredible. the rooms are amazing. the food is filling and delicious. the communication is impeccable. the conversations with fellow traveling folk is worth every moment.

when i tell my friends about my wonderful experience, it might be booked up next time i want to visit. you know, when you want it to stay the best kept secret in baltimore and you also want them to be incredibly successful... it is that kind of place.

I loved all the decor. Breakfasts were delicious. I loved having a tea station and small treats available at all times. The brandy in the library was a nice touch as well.

Our room was very cold the first night, naturally with it being a historic house with original windows it was a bit drafty. We were good once we figured out how to work the heat. And there was a space heater that helped immensely.

A top rating doesn’t say enough for this lovely B&B. Attention to details, care and comfort were apparent in every aspect of Rachael’s Dowry. The Innkeepers knowledge of not only the B&B itself but the surrounding area gave an appreciation of where we were and the history surrounding us. The gourmet breakfast was outstanding and very generous.

The breakfast was very well rounded, filling and healthy. Linda’s willingness and ability to accommodate allergies and still provide a delicious breakfast went well beyond what was expected.

Nothing, everything from the food to the accommodations to the staff were amazing.

This BnB is absolutely wonderful: an exquisite, historically authentic, cozy gem of a place. The innkeeper was on hand to attend to our every need: she welcomed us personally, provided excellent recommendations for local sights & cuisine, and prepared heavenly breakfasts. Many warm memories from this trip!

We loved everything about this place.

Our host/cook, Linda, was awesome. We had an opportunity to chat in the morning at breakfast time, and she gave us a great history lesson about the neighborhood and the estate. And the walkability to ravens game was incredible. Thanks, you will see us again.

This is such a wonderful property in a perfect location among an enclave of historic structures & streets. The level of comfort during our stay far surpassed my broadest expectations. Exquisite luxury bedding on the most comfortable mattress I ever experienced provided such a cozy nights sleep I don’t know will ever be matched. The breakfast was fantastic from the first cup of coffee & scone to the eggs Benedict. The accommodations at every turn are outstanding.

We were served breakfast as is customary to guest which was wonderful. Unfortunately there’s no lunch or dinner.

What a beautiful house! Comfortable accommodations all around! Linda was an amazing host, providing all of the creature comforts one could ask for! We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the surrounding Baltimore area! The food was amazing! The snickerdoodle cookies were the best!! We will definitely be returning!

I loved the personality of the hostess, the history of the house, the peace and serenity I felt while staying there, the nearby accessibility of attractions and ability to escape to home comfort when I returned there.
