Hotel is brand new, with nice and spacious rooms; bad is good and comfortable, working place is convenient; sofa is pleasant to sit on; wanted to mention coffee which I particularly liked in this hotel;

Location is not far from harbor, walking might not be pleasant endeavor especially in area around Lexington market, for me it was ok, but some people do not consider it safe; breakfast is too poor even for SpringHill Suites, keep in mind that there are are few hotels with same name in the City in order not to mix up addresses; some cleaning staff is not speaking any English;

Felt very comfortable, everyone was kind, helpful, considerate. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Microwave and fridge were a BIG plus. In particular, the bartender is amazing. She's so warm, welcoming, and friendly. I think she's the heart of this location. She's like the cool headed "mom" everyone goes to because she always knows what to do in any situation. Can't tell you how much I appreciated her kindness, and she's SO much fun, too! I choose this location because of access to both light rail and subway to Johns Hopkins. Very pleased, overall, with my entire stay. I will return on my next trip to Baltimore.

The location is right on the edge of a fairly sketchy area. However, all the staff seem very vigilant as far as security is concerned. (But I was able to use nearby public transportation without incident)

A nice variety of items to choose from for breakfast. Area was convenient to my activities. Convenient to Light Rail from and to BWI. Many bus routes nearby and Charm City Circulator within a reasonable walking distance. Lexington Market a short walk from hotel. Thankful for lobby bar. Hippodrome and Everyman Theatre across the street from hotel.

No real restaurants nearby. There is a noticeable presence of street people and panhandlers in the area. I didn’t feel threatened in the area but I remained vigilant of my surroundings. I was also solo.

Super nice and clean facilities; close proximity to the arena for a concert

Continental breakfast was out of essentials like syrup, cream cheese, and non stick spray for the waffle iron, even before peak times. It’s a bit difficult to spot the property—we passed it 3 times! And going just a block or two in a different direction did not feel safe. We were there for a concert, so walking to and from the hotel to the arena was fine in a large group. However we pulled up for valet service and there was a security guard in Kevlar and carrying a gun outside an art club next door, and that was a bit alarming after getting lost nearby in the opposite direction.

The Springhill Suites is in a historic building that has been recently renovated and all the furnishings, bathrooms, lobby etc. were in excellent condition and clean. The included breakfast was quite good, a mix of some warm items (sausage, potatoes, oatmeal etc.), with waffle irons and various kinds of bagels, yogurt, cereal & juices, with coffee in the lobby where the tables are. The location is quite good for folks attending shows at the Hippodrome, or needing to visit the University of Maryland hospital, or Edgar Allan Poe's gravesite, or the Lexington Market. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave and a coffee maker. The room was large with very high ceilings and windows.

The signage on the outside of the hotel is rather subtle and my cab driver missed it and we had to circle back a block. The entrance isn't clearly marked, and I was thinking it wasn't the main entrance (but it is). The room was very quiet except for a loud crash of some sort at one in the morning just outside my room near the stairwell (I doubt that happens often though). There wasn't a safe in my room, which I thought was a common amenity nowadays in hotels, but I didn't need it, just Fyi to ask if you think you'll want to use one.

Hotel is in a very walkable area. It is immediately next to Lexington Market a very impressive two level food court and fresh market. In addition to that several chain and independent restaurants as well as attractions are within walking distance. I was easily able to walk down to Baltimore Harbor and enjoy a large festival. Free hotel internet was fast and suitable for conducting business. It is also a few blocks away from the CFG Arena. The room was clean and stylish. Additionally they served a very satisfying breakfast in the morning with rotating hot food choices. Hotel offered top level hospitality. I spoke with an employee who has worked there for 19 years regarding a concern. In addition to making it clear that my concern and satisfaction was important she helped me to combine my Marriott member numbers. After completing this I was able to take advantage of the benefits of being a regular customer. Finally they were able to accommodate my late checkout request. This made my workday very smooth. I will certainly return to this property.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and met my expectations. My sister & I were there to see the production of "Shen Yun" and were able to walk to the theater. The free breakfast was also wonderful with an array of choices. The only thing I had a problem with was their parking. There's no self parking & on the app, they kept charging me for multiple nights without being able to make a correction. All in all, it was a beautiful hotel and I'd stay again.

Mama T was great with check in. She also helped me that when I got to my assigned room, the door was propped open and even though no one was in the room I went back to the desk and Mama T made sure I felt safe, assured me I did the right thing and immediately gave me a new room. She also sent security to check the room and make sure all was well. The bartender was great and had excellent recommendations for places to go eat!

Check out time is at 11:00am and housekeeping knocked and entered my room at 8:15am and returned at 10:20am. If check out isn't until 11am housekeeping should not come to the room until after checkout time unless they know you have checked out. It was annoying that I was trying to rest before getting on the road but had housekeeping entering my room.

The staff were very warm & welcoming, it was VERY CLEAN, even the elevators smelled as if they just thoroughly cleaned & sanitized them. The rooms were nice sized along with the beds. The comfort level was at an all time 10. I will definitely book with this hotel again my next visit.

Only thing was the lighting inside the rooms. I love taking pictures so the lighting wasn’t as bright as I hoped for, but the ambiance was chefs kiss.

The location was perfect. We booked it because it was close to the venue we would be going to a concert at but were surprised at how convenient it was to walk anywhere. We wondered around for a little while and ended up grabbing dinner at chipotle down the road before we headed to the concert. We were also pleasantly surprised that there was a bar downstairs. The bartender was super nice and made sure to talk to every guest while we were there. The surprises kept coming when we woke up to check out the breakfast buffet. There were so many options and the staff made sure it was always stocked. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to visit for a concert.

At first, we weren’t sure where to park at. We circled the block several times to find parking garages that were already full or boarded up. Eventually we called the hotel and they told us the closest one to park at. Besides that, everything else was perfect.
